Before I was diagnosed with bipolar mental illness in 1997, I had an active social life as a college music teacher at Mohawk College in Hamilton, and a fan following of my solo music concert tours. I also achieved 10 years of educations concluding with my master's of World Arts from York University. After my diagnosis, my social networks fell away due to stigma. During my lonely years, I began to write. This book is a collection of non-fiction and articles all written on the quality of life I have experienced while living with bipolar.
