Due to advances in medical technology, Manuel survives and wakes up to a strange world order. Befriending a green astronaut and an artificial-intelligent robot dog, he travels to explore this new world and re-establish his relationships with his family and fiancée. I woke up to see the results of limited nuclear wars, rapid and dramatic ecological changes due to global warming, and world-wide political upheavals that dramatically increased the number of refugees seeking asylum.
