Om Faith's Genesis
Princess Edelweiss' journey to the inevitable grows with a season of change. Quite happy in her marriage to the son of Lady Myra Bacher of the English Parliament, William, Princess Edelweiss' life gathers wings as she awaits the proper strength of the winds of change to give her journey to the throne of Liechtenstein, momentum.
Along the way, however, the board is set for the dangerous game of political chess. Using the political connections of others, Princess Edelweiss starts networking with several political leaders in disavowed clandestine settings who will serve as her political mentors on her unusual journey, which ultimately, she will need, when the time comes for her accession under the radar of the Queen Selma who wishes Edelweiss' family dead so that Selma's grandson Sebastian's ascension can occur without incident upon her death.
Several murder attempts upon her and William's family occur, prompting the team of clandestine assets she once led, Team Cocktail working alongside clandestine Team Willow-the team responsible for her family's extraction from Vaduz Castle in 1976- to be reactivated out of retirement to provide, unbeknownst to Edelweiss, protection from the shadows for Her Sovereign Highness and her family.
Among the plays Her Sovereign Highness employs to keep her anonymity as the future queen of Liechtenstein is one of a cover story concocted from her days as the leader of Team Cocktail. In lieu of being married to William, she states her spouse is David Grey. She freely uses Dr. Catherine Grey in those social circles where political prowess and professionalism exist, and only those who are part of her small mentoring circle, who attend these social events, know the truth, and they feint to protect the queen, meanwhile, becoming political disrupters in circles to keep her identity in shadows and to run political interference if necessary.
Among those members of Team Cocktail who fight the reactivation is the asset known as David Grey. It is because of David's personal feelings towards Her Sovereign Highness that he chooses to become her 'last resort' of protection. David feels that all the ploys that are being employed are overdramatizations of something small until fate places him in quite a mortal situation. His faith was assessed. His own mortality is on the line.
Will David answer God's call and manifest the genesis of faith this situation needs in order to protect the queen and provide the chess pieces necessary to set Edelweiss' political chessboard properly for the battle that fate will bring?
