Farm mechanization has played a vital role in increasing production, productivity and profitability of farm enterprise. It is mainly attributed to timeliness in farm operations and reduction in application of various inputs through their precise metering, application and higher use efficiencies. Being one of the most important elements of modern agriculture, farm power and machinery has become an essential subject in the course curricula of most disciplines in agriculture.
