About the Author
Sara Khan is a teacher and author of Eid and the Moon Bangles. While pregnant, Sara started to write her first children''s book in hopes of promoting cultural awareness and making the world a more compassionate and accepting place for future generations. Sara believes teaching diversity and inclusion must start at a young age, which is why her books are aimed at young readers.
Sara lives in Minnesota with her husband, Sulmaan, and super curious and energetic one year old daughter, Zoya, also the main character in her book. When she isn''t teaching or singing nursery rhymes out of tune, Sara enjoys vacationing by the ocean, making others laugh, and playing Monopoly Deal.
