Om Digitalization in Practice
Digitalization in Practice: Intersections, Implications and Interventions shows that as welfare is increasingly digitalized, an investigation of the social implications of this digitalization becomes increasingly pertinent. The book is divided into three sections, each offering a particular perspective on digital states. In the first section, 'intersections', the book offers readers an insight into foundational characters - the digital, the state and the citizen - and considers how each is reconfigured. In the second theme, 'implications', chapters consider the social implications of key topics relating to the digital state, such as personal identification, surveillance, and services. In the third section, 'interventions', chapters will focus on modes of intervening into issues relevant to key topics in contemporary society relating to digital states in practice.
