Design of High Strength Steel Reinforced Concrete Columns

The narrower range of concrete and steel material strengths permitted in Eurocode 4, alongside the enhanced ductility and buckling resistance of SRC columns, creates a need for an analysis that goes beyond the guidelines. This is addressed here through examining the design of SRC columns using high strength concrete, high strength structural steel and high strength reinforcing steel materials.
