Death in Yacht Haven

Life up and down the Chesapeake Bay exists around the seamless tides. Except for regattas held in open coves and up the rivers in spring, boat traffic is mercantile. Huge container ships lumber up and down the mile-wide shipping channel twenty-four hours a day. At dusk and dawn, lights along the bowline can be seen without binoculars.
Bay water, during all phases of the tides, slaps against the rickrack making sounds so unique that herons stand upon the rocks to sleep and whisper in thoughtless response.
The second book in the Hush Hush Murders trilogy, Death in Yacht Haven is set down the road from Aunt Maree's water community home. Margaret has come to visit and to close up the house for winter.
