A young Australian man signs up to go to war having little knowledge of how his life would be impacted in the future. World War II is the setting for this true story which tells of two people who meet in difficult and tragic circumstances. Jim, after serving at Tobruk, was captured and sent to POW camps in Germany and Italy. Luisa, born during WWI was raised in a small village in Italy.
