Damsel in distress is a book about the female identity. Both in how it is perceived and how it is experienced, often times highlighting the stark contrast between the two. It is designed to tell the stories many are too afraid to tell. The stories of what is and not what 'should' be. It is a love letter to all the women who believe that they are in some way, less than and a reminder of all the ways you are not.
