Common Core: Using Global Children's Literature and Digital Technologies focuses on nine regions of the world and is fundamentally connected to three tenets: literacy, culture, and the use of digital technology for enhancing deeper understanding in elementary classroom curriculum. Through the use of this book, teachers can explore and begin to diversify their selection of global and multicultural literature from various regions of the world and underrepresented ethnic communities of the United States.
