Changing Colours

Changing Colours tells the story of three unusual looking Green Peppers who arrive in the kitchen from the garden. Who are they? Can be they be trusted? Are they good enough to eat? The occupants of the kitchen wonders. The onion is suspicious, but the sweet potato encourages the onion to be nice to these strangers. When these peppers start to change to another colour, the other vegetables begin to talk about their own skin colour, who is the brightest, who is the best, is one colour better than another. This is a fun and engaging read to think about the important subject of being comfortable in your own skin, respecting and learning to accept others who are different.
