Chamomile-Sunflower Friendship

Chamomile is the national flower of Russia and the sunflower is the national flower of the Ukraine. I have visited both countries and have friends in both. This book is dedicated to them and profits will go to those who suffer from the current 2022 war.But this is NOT a book about war. It is a book about friendship and the many aspects of friendship. Quotes from a variety of ages and cultures reflect on friendship.Using slightly abstracted forms of a chamomile and sunflower (painted with acrylics on silk and stitched by hand) creates a continuum throughout this collection of photos and thoughts. They went traveling with me through the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy in 2022, and were briefly installed in many public places. Please follow us on this journey.
