Burden of the Crown follows the intersecting journeys of Gareg Okenbraun, a brutish warrior and loyal soldier of Thuryur and Aeros Cordabos, a charming yet vengeful dethroned prince of Castilon, as they struggle to maintain control of a newly discovered Nexis hidden deep within the Antisis Mountains. This incredibly powerful source of magic has the potential to shift the very balance of power within the five nations of Miranthis. To protect the Nexis from being captured by the armies of High Lord Hemmil Vasburg, Gareg and Aeros will need to use their wit, ingenuity and courage to lead a band of hopelessly outnumbered villagers against a battalion of Nestrova soldiers.
