Breast cancer is a malignant neoplasm that begins in breast tissue.
Breast cancer is the second most frequent cancer in women in the United States, after skin cancer. Although men are not immune to developing breast cancer, women are more likely to be diagnosed with the disease. Progress in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer can be attributed in large part to the widespread public support for these causes. Earlier identification, a novel customized approach to therapy, and a better knowledge of the disease have all contributed to a rise in breast cancer survival rates and a steady decline in the number of fatalities linked with this disease.Breast cancer symptoms may include: Breast tissue that feels different than the rest of the breastAlteration of the breast in terms of size, form, or appearanceDimpling and other changes in the breast skinReversed genitaliaExfoliation, scaling, crusting, or flaking of the pigmented skin around the areola (breast crease)Changes to the color or texture of your breast skin, similar to the orange peel.
