Om Book III-Job to the Song of Solomon, poetry

Revised Edition: LukivPress (Victoria, BC), 2022. An excerpt, a poem based on chapter three of Job Take a skin-bottle Of wine and toss it from The height of an eagle's nest, Smash a stone jar, And watch the waters rush Into the street, To disappear like mists upon Meadows in the rising sun, Press out the flame of a wick And render the candle Useless, Let the man ride Leviathan Beneath cold waves, For a moment, Let a rock from a high crag End it all upon a skull Deadened by its own Despair, Let thoughts end in That place where gloom hatches Eggs that reveal hideous Memories of a failed life, Watch the bramble bush roll Across the wilderness And disappear from sight. Yes, the bramble bush, Void of violet flowers and Red berries, Rolling, rolling, Gone. The author Dan Lukiv, published in 19 countries, is a poet, novelist, columnist, short story and article writer, and independent education researcher (hermeneutic phenomenology). Beskrivelse av Book III-Job to the Song of Solomon, poetry

Revised Edition: LukivPress (Victoria, BC), 2022. An excerpt, a poem based on chapter three of Job Take a skin-bottle
Of wine and toss it from
The height of an eagle's nest, Smash a stone jar,
And watch the waters rush
Into the street,
To disappear like mists upon
Meadows in the rising sun, Press out the flame of a wick
And render the candle
Useless, Let the man ride Leviathan
Beneath cold waves,
For a moment, Let a rock from a high crag
End it all upon a skull
Deadened by its own
Despair, Let thoughts end in
That place where gloom hatches
Eggs that reveal hideous
Memories of a failed life, Watch the bramble bush roll
Across the wilderness
And disappear from sight. Yes, the bramble bush,
Void of violet flowers and
Red berries,
Rolling, rolling,
Gone. The author Dan Lukiv, published in 19 countries, is a poet, novelist, columnist, short story and article writer, and independent education researcher (hermeneutic phenomenology).
