Spiccano sugli altri, notevolmente, e schiudono infiniti spazi all'immaginazione.
Issue 7: Feast is a follow-up to Issue 6, wherein we wanted to explore the things we consume. What do we feast on? Is it food or emotions? Do our eyes feast on moments out in nature? Where does the thought of eating take us, and how far do we go in pursuit of it? All the work we received for this issue met our expectations and then some. We hope you enjoy reading through the anthology.

This collection is a story about the perseverance of the self and the strength of the community; the inevitability of becoming broken and beaten; the reminder that we are connected and we are exquisite; that our scars show where we did not die: and that when we are underestimated, bloodied, and battered, we will rise again. Both personal and communal, drawing strength specifically from the Yazidi people through her time in Iraq - Maia tries to make sense of the utterly unimaginable and the all too common, so that the reader may take solace in exploring the beauty and depth of their own sheer strength in the face of pain and anguish. The universe will always promise brutality and struggle.Individuals will always possess the power of resilience.Humanity will always offer a future.

Fading Echoes is a book about childhood trauma and healing of the inner child. It follows the stages of recovery, inspired by the five stages of grief, and ends with a chapter on self-discovery post-trauma. The poems include topics of death, depression and hopelessness but also caring and standing up for oneself. The book is a collection of poems written in a two-year-long period. The poetic rhymes capture the echoes of growing up in a religious environment and being raised by emotionally immature parents. Even though the chapters mark clear sections in the healing journey, the poems were not written in the order they are published - as healing is not linear. The title "Fading Echoes" represents how pain and suffering gradually become quieter and eventually transform into echoes, leaving more room for strength and resilience.

Season of the Heart is a book of poems written by Bobby Harrell during the youthful years of his life, late 90s and early 2000s. The poems in this collection cover a myriad of emotions, from depression, darkness, love, pain, doubt, self-worth, and other strong emotions that still affect the youth of today. Some of the poems are immature in writing style, and others seem unfinished. Bobby has not written poetry since this time of his life, and it provides a unique picture of the mindset of a youthful boy struggling to find love and belonging. A true look into the seasons of his heart from during the middle and late teenage years and into his early 20s. The hope is that some of the writings will resonate with the youth of today who may share the same feelings with the idea of encouraging them to open up. To discuss these feelings with loved ones, and people they trust. Knowing that there is light at the end of the emotional tunnels.

In the words of George Carlin, we in the United States have front row tickets to the circus. In Live At The Witch Trials, the first section reflects the anxiety and concern of the nation, of those at all points on the spectrum. We may find ourselves bemused, outraged, or hapless witnesses at the grand daily public spectacle. As a writer, and a man, after so much archaic history, the author finds it hard to take the side of men. And daily, the divide between men and women grows ever deeper. The book's first section attempts to make sense of the national discourse, uncivilized as it is, and the author's struggle to discern his own place within it. Juxtaposed against the cruel, carny delights and atrocities, LATWT's second section offers relief from the broadcasts of doom: family and the immersive world of entertainment. Loved ones and the history or great storytelling. Personal and public heroes and heels, whose stories both unknown and epic shape our ethics, cheering and jeering the outcome for no consequence greater than our own righteous sense of peace.
A collection of thirty-one poems aimed at the sensation of being home. Written for and dedicated to Joseph Bonney.
