In our Upper West Side apartment with Laurel (an aspiring Rockstar, along with music student Laney), we spent nights at dance clubs and days working unfulfilling jobs. Reading New Age books was an antidote to materialism but we also loved Pop Culture, cracking jokes and loving catchy 80s music.
When Laurel experiments with divination hoping to find advice, she has no idea her first step will morph into a fantastic rarified journey none of us could foresee. Sparking an ethereal revolution in the apartment, these three forever change the way they see the outside world as they dig into the depths of compassion.
Joined by a cast of otherworldly characters, some trustworthy, some tricksters, we three navigated the wisdom and unexpected hilarity of our screwball journey.
