Asset and Liability Management Manual under the Basel Committee's d368 IRRBB regulation.

With the publication of the Basel BCBS d368 text on interest rate risk in the banking book, asset/liability management has undergone a real revolution. The April 2016 directive ("IRRBB") has indeed translated into regulation the need to implement a dual approach between stabilizing the bank's economic value ("EVE") and dynamically modeling its net interest margin ("NIM"). For this purpose, the regulator has defined criteria of rigor and quality such that they have given rise to a full-fledged specialty within the finance departments. This was a necessity following the numerous accidents in the management of bank balance sheets in recent years.
The aim of this manual is to provide the theoretical and practical foundations of asset-liability management in a synthetic and rigorous manner. The book is intended for all financial practitioners: treasurers, financial directors, asset/liability managers, risk managers, financial advisors, etc.
