The archangels are being hunted.

The war of old has escalated, and Lucifer-known as Luc in the new world-has taken matters into his own hands. Meanwhile, Orion Thorrsen-or Thor, to his military buddies-has served his country well, and begins a new chapter in the civilian world. After going back to school, Orion meets the angel of his dreams, and life swiftly becomes a far cry from the hate and evil he fought against in faraway lands. However, when Luc brings the fight to the souls of Earth, Orion is recruited for one last mission; one that will challenge everything he knows about life, belief, and love. There is no warlord or terrorist that he can take out in a calculated strike: this enemy is immortal, and more powerful and sadistic than any other he has encountered before.
