Om Another 9000 Days
At the end of The First 9000 Days, I was drawing a line in the sand, believing that my years of irresponsibility were finally coming to an end. This was perhaps over-optimistic and sadly, I continued to walk a somewhat wavy line, from one crisis to another. This new book begins as I near the end of my time in the Royal Navy. For me it was the start of a new life, hopefully more settled and stable. But my pathological itchy feet were having none of it, they being responsible for all of my adventures and misadventures over the years. Although I haven't counted, I'm sure I have visited and worked in more countries since leaving the Royal Navy, than in all the eleven years I served. This is the second 25 years of my life story, with all the ups and downs and mistakes that I made. After all of that, I still have no regrets and I'm still here to tell the tale.
