Anna's Big Adventure

This is the story that many immigrants share, who moved to Canada in the 1950s. Anna leaves Holland and sails for two weeks on a ship across the Atlantic. She and her family arrive at Pier 21 in Halifax. From Halifax, they ride a train for four days before settling in Southern Alberta. Hard work and determination are needed to survive in Canada, a land of beauty and opportunity.
