ANGAARE In December 1932 AD, a book titled ""Angaare"" was published from 'Nizami Press' of Lucknow. This was a unique book of its kind in Urdu. Which includes 9 stories and one drama. The authors of this story and drama are 3 men and 1 woman namely Sajjad Zaheer, Ahmed Ali, Rashid Jahan and Mahmuduzzafar. "Angaare" did the work of Able on many sections of the society. Due to whose jealousy there was chaos in British India. Protests started happening everywhere. Articles condemning this book started being published in newspapers and magazines. Fatwas were being given by Muslim religious leaders. On March 15, 1933, the day finally arrived when the British United Provinces government banned ""embers"" under section 295A of the Indian Penal Code. Except 5 copies of "Angaare", all the copies were burnt and these copies were sent to British Library and Indian Office Collection.
