The legend still lives on as Alice's ghost continues to search for the promise ring her beloved once gave her, professing his everlasting love. The ring was lost, and so was Alice's hope to reunite with her intended.. Fate did not allow for the marriage to take place, separating the two lovers for good. Some people claim that the young woman had died of a broken heart, with her last words promising her beloved to find the ring he gave her. Till this day, on the marsh land of the small town in South Carolina where grass grows tall and the nearby lake lies quiet, Alice is looking for the most precious thing she ever had- the ring from her most true beloved...
