Lori was being put through the ultimate test. She wanted a fresh start, but Detroit still had a claim on her. All she wanted was to be able to breathe and not worry but with Trouble being shot she was having a hard time living. Throwing in the towel seemed way easier than sticking around and dealing with problem after problem.
Trouble was just trying his best to get through his trauma, but his past had a hold on him. Anything real in his life was being replaced with a blur. His family was his number one priority but being shot caused him to let go of something delicate to him.
Love will always be a challenging task. You have to work to get it and work to keep it. Some people just needed you to jog their memory and help them see what they couldn't.
