2020 Together Alone

2020 will be written in history as one of the strangest years in the hyper-nuclear information era. In the year of our lord and saviour Brexit and following four years of bitter political fights about reality and our future, It was meant to be the year we moved forward with our divorce and into blissful sovereignty. Instead, a silly little virus swept over the planet like the first horseman of the apocalypse bringing along his three cousins- insanity, paranoia and corruption. From toilet rolls to toppling statues, from fighting infinite boredom and existential crisis number 54 to clapping for NHS workers. We ate out to help out in summer so we could be boarded up for the long, cold winter alone.
'Together Alone' chronicles two years of lockdowns, outrageous scandals, unwanted alcoholic memories, a dizzying number of deaths and finishes with a story about the crucial and life-saving vaccine. Together Alone chronicles the peak of our shared absurdity and remembers this short traumatizing era before it moves into a forgotten memory.
