In this moving testimonial, Reverend Elijah Leong recounts God's grace and blessings on his life, starting with a very difficult childhood-a dysfunctional family, four brothers with muscular dystrophy, poverty, superstition, depression and conflicts. He traces the different phases of his life's journey-from childhood to his days of national service in the army, and then a new work life, marriage, ministry and family-all the while detailing the struggles, the pains, the crises, the special people he encountered, the answered prayers, the triumphs, the joys and the precious lessons learned in the process. Behind it all he sees the gracious hand of his beloved Lord and Savior: helping, guiding, comforting, molding, blessing, protecting and lifting him up. Reverend Elijah Leong gives glory and praises to this beloved savior Jesus Christ, who has done for him far abundantly beyond all that he could ask or think, as declared in Ephesians 3:20. This touching autobiography is birthed from the desire for readers to know and love this wonderful Lord and Savior, too. Reverend Elijah presently pastors a house church in Singapore-Jesus Disciples Baptist Community Church. In 2010, the Lord enabled Reverend Elijah and his wife, Mabel Lim Snow Jade, to start an orphanage in Hyderabad, India, as well as a church-planting ministry there. By God's grace, they hope to start many more orphanages and house churches throughout India and many parts of the world before the Lord Jesus returns.
Min. Cedric White is one of the most cutting-edge teachers from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Minister White is masterful at "object lessons" which not only leave you with an understanding of the Word but also a "picture which becomes engrained in your spirit." His unique demonstration style of illustrations grasps the listener and holds their attention while equipping them with life changing tools and ideas to better, not only their marriages, but also relationships in general. In his book, 4Ts for your Heart, he uses four simple-yet seldom used in this contemporary society-principles to help individuals and couples to clearly see and evaluate who they are individually as well as who they are considering becoming involved with. This informative book takes the reader through the very scenario used by the Creator of the universe in preparing for an eternal relationship. It illustrates how God takes His time in preparation for companionship and shows that we should purposely do the same. A simple blueprint is given that will lead you to more life satisfying connections with the preferred positive conclusions. I have sat in many of Min. Cedric White's classes, both in church environments as well as secular institutions. I often marvel at the passion, the wonder, the energy that is inside this man for the healing of individuals, couples and families. The name, Healing Thine Hearts, is not just the name for his ministry; it's the life that he has come to live. Elder Roger Haley Director of Marriage Ministries, The Potter's House Dallas, Texas

Do you know what you would do if your child stopped breathing? Susan Fries not only was confronted with this reality, but also experienced it with the added trauma from her own childhood memories of desperately gasping for air during asthma attacks. She was devastated to learn that her son would experience the very same suffering she endured, along with her older sister. However, being on the other side of the issue as a parent, Fries realized just how much needed to be done to protect her son's life. We all can learn empathy and safe practices to care for each other in a society where 250,000 die from asthma each year. Fries personally takes on the task of advocating for better precautions in schools, informing parents on what makes a difference in the home and raising awareness in the public.

From where I sit today I am forced to look at life from a place I never expected or wanted to be; totally paralyzed from the shoulders down, sitting in a chair that I drive by blowing and sucking in a straw, typing this book one letter at a time with a mouth stick. I never wanted to be here. I never wanted to be in a wheelchair and I never wanted to be a writer. Nevertheless, here I sit typing, because of one seemingly small decision to dive off a boat dock on July 15, 1991, at the age of 19. Shortly after my accident, I would have to make another choice that also altered the course of my life. Do I accept my unwanted circumstances? Acceptance was not a quick, easy process. God used many truths, people and experiences to teach me some big life lessons. The way He used little people was nothing short of miraculous. From a 5th grader named Miranda I learned to look beyond my limitations for things I could do instead of focusing on all the things I could not do. Through a 2nd grader named Alicia I saw that giving what I have to give is more important than what I have to give. Sierra's out of control ride on my wheelchair ended up being the incident God used to teach me the key to trusting Him. While my 3 year old brother's response to a bird pooping on my shoulder, challenged me to not only accept my paralysis, but really learn to "live with it." Kevin Olson was born on August 28, 1971. Since 1993 he has devoted his life to kids by tutoring at elementary schools, teaching at the Cherry Street Youth Center in Chanute, traveling around speaking at schools and churches, and serving as a Youth Minister for two churches in Fredonia, KS. After his accident Kevin also obtained his Associates degree and a computer programming certification. Currently he works from home creating websites and is busy promoting his first book, an autobiography titled "Learning to Live With It." This is book one of a fantasy series for youths through adults. It is about Narn, a young man in a village of people that is still recent after the Creation. The Maker has Given him the special ability to sense people's feelings and has Called him to help people when their feelings would turn them from the Maker's Teachings. Unbeknownst to him, Narn is being pursued by the Blackness, a force from the unMaker trying to undo all that the Maker has Made and that killed Narn's Father, who also shared Narn's special sensitivity. Narn discovers that he must choose between the Lessons his Family learned from the Maker and those of the Hunters, seeded from the unMaker. After his best friend, a Hunter, is killed while on a Hunt, Narn's own emotions blind him, and he ignores his Lessons to avenge his friend's death. He then finds that he must choose between life and death, not only for the once-revered beast that killed his friend, but also for himself-because his heart has Writings upon it that conflict with what he has seen take place before him. Which is more real? To which will he yield? This book sets the stage for the following series about Narn, which gradually deepens in the question of "choosing whom you will follow," and gives the reader insight into the Writings on his/her own heart so he/she may be better prepared to make that choice. I have a master's degree in counseling psychology with special emphasis in personal and family challenges. I began to see that the underlying causes of most people's problems stemmed from a departure from Standards in their lives, consciously or unconsciously. This realization influenced me very strongly and I found myself writing about it in story form.

HOSEA 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Today's average Christian is not aware of the ongoing battle in the spiritual realm. The battle is as real as the world they see, but it is subtly working to hinder them from fulfilling God's plan and purpose for their lives. This book is intended to train and equip Christian believers for the spiritual battle. Linda Tatanus is an ordained minister and a NCCA licensed pastoral counselor. She is the founder of True Living Stones Ministries, Inc., and has ministered in jails and the Caribbean, teaching believers how to walk in the freedom that only Jesus Christ can give.

This book was written with the intention of encouraging all who read it: to develop and /or increase the level of relationship with God and to invite them to (as the Bible says) Taste of the Lord and see that He is good. While writing, I found myself remembering many of the things that God has done in my life and in the lives of my family. This has increased my appreciation for and of God and His blessings in our lives. Writing this has also served to increase my own faith and has given me a deeper resolve in my walk with God and to seek Him on every level of life. My prayer is simply that God receives the most out of this effort and that this book helps everyone who reads it. To God be All of the glory and All of the praise. He truly is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I thank God for giving me the time and the words to write this book and may all who read it be truly blessed. In Jesus name.... Amen.

He is just an ordinary person. He is a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, combat veteran, and a pastor. He is also a biker, hunter, mechanic, outdoorsman, your neighbor, a friend, and again, just an ordinary person. Monty spent 12 years in the Army and felt called to leave the military to pursue ordination as a pastor so he could return to the military as a chaplain. While those doors did not open, God did open other doors that guided him to become an ordained inter-denominational minister. The way God did that was unusual to say the least. The story is in the book. After being obedient to God and becoming ordained by God himself (you will have to read the story) Monty was still just a lump of clay on the table. God calls Monty into being a pastor of a church! I know right? God makes it clear that he wants Monty inside the church and no longer preaching just in the highways and byways! You have just got to read the story, it is amazing! So, don't just open the front page and check the water with your feet! Dive in and get submerged immediately! If you are looking for edifi cation, encouragement, confi rmation, or just want an easy to read book, you have found it. Enjoy and may God touch you and guide you as you travel through time with Monty. Hang on as you ride back into the past then back again and what a ride it is!
