Priscilla McInville is a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who resides in Timmonsville, South Carolina with her husband, Wallace. She is a self-proclaimed servant of Jesus Christ and enjoys working with children, especially those with special needs. Norman Johnson is a man whose passion is to strive for structure in life that he may be a trendsetter and example to his family and all who looks up to him. Born on Setember 9, 1968, Norman grew up in Donnelly Homes in the northern part of Trenton, NJ. After dropping out of high school, he began working as a kitchen helper at Trenton State College to support his new family. Realizing the importance of an education, Norman enrolled at the local community college and obtained his G.E.D. while raising his family, which at the time consisted of his longtime girlfriend and three daughters. During his spare time, Johnson enjoys focusing on his hobbies and being with family. In 1998, Norman visited Miracle Tabernacle Church with his family who were already attendees. There, he gave his life to the Lord. Knowing God had a purpose for his life, he was soon afterwards baptized. Under the guidance of his pastor, Russell Bethea, he learned and practiced the disciplines of Christianity. During a three-year wilderness journey of incarceration, his marriage of one year with his longtime girlfriend ended. Brokenhearted, Johnson continued to diligently seek the Lord, an action that sparked the curiosity of the other inmates. Beginning a Bible study, Norman was able to win many to Christ and witnessed many change their perspective on life. When he returned home, Norman continued with Miracle Tabernacle Church and began to accompany the elders as they went into the community to bare witness to the Lord's goodness and to pass out literary tracts. Two years later he was licensed as a minister to preach and teach God's Word. In 2002, Norman married his long time friend Andrea, who grew up in the same neighborhood as he. Having Bible study in their home, Norman and Andrea witnessed mighty moves of God as many gave their lives to the Lord. Johnson later enrolled in the Maranatha Full Gospel Biblical Institute where he earned an accredited combined bachelor/graduate degree in theology. Seeking a new church home in 2010, Norman and Andrea joined Kingdom Church of New Jersey under the leadership and direction of Pastor Darius Daniels where he is now the assistant leader of the I-Care Community Outreach Ministry. Today as he continues to strive, Norman works as the second assistant manager of the Smolar Group LLC. His passion to teach and encourage men and women has made him a mentor to all who are under his direction. His efforts are continually seen in his life as he presses forth to be an example of excellence.
This book is a promise I made to the Lord. I promised Him if He would get me through the situation I was in; I would use my experience to tell others about His provision. Our God saved me and has been changing me from the age of 26, I've been studying from, and attending the best bible college none to man, the Bible. I've always believed that the bible is, and has always been its own dictionary, its own commentary and its own interpreter. And to that end I've conducted my studies. I wrote the book, "from darkness to light, my God is able". From the valuable lessons our Lord has taught me during my 56yrs of living. The lessons God teaches are meant to be life changing, in ways designed to bring glory to him. The decisions Rose made all those years ago still haunt her and continue to affect all of her relationships. She has never gotten over the love she had for her first husband JJ and the end of their marriage. Her second marriage is over and Rose is determined she will never fall in love again. The Sunday Rose series is a historical fiction account of certain events that happened in the life of my maternal grandmother, Georgia Mae Biggins, also known as Mama Georgia.
