Many people ask me the question, "If there's a God and He is good, why does He allow bad things to happen to good people?" Psalm 14:3 (NKJV) says, "They have all turned aside, they have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one." Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." That includes you and me. God allows people to have a choice to love or to hate; to do good or bad to others; to choose to love Him...or not. There was a price for giving us that choice. Sin entered the world along with pain, suffering and despair. Adam and Eve's choice to disobey God brought sin into the world, and it will always be here until Jesus returns for us. But there is always hope with Jesus. He endured the most horrific kinds of abuse at our own hands; including giving up His life to be crucified in the most horrible way. And yet, there's hope for us through His abundant grace and mercy because of that cross. Psalm 30:5b (NKJV) says, "Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." Come with me and see how Jesus has stayed faithfully by my side through many forms of abuse: rape, incest, physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional and sexual abuse; and He is still by my side to this day. He was there with me through the abuse: the pain, the mental anguish, the tormenting emotions, the tears and seemingly endless suffering and grief; as well as the horrific memories and flashbacks after the abuse that felt like the rape was happening all over again with every memory. He experienced it ALL with me as He led me through the chaos to the other side. He's walked with me, talked with me, held me and been right by my side, going through all of the abuse with me that I endured. All to show you that He wants to be there through it all with you too. There is nothing that you've been through that He hasn't seen, watched you endure and gone through it with you already. God is a gentleman; He will not force Himself on you. He will patiently wait for you to ask Him for help and healing. Open your heart to His healing power and the pages of this book, and you will begin to see the hope you truly have in Jesus. He chooses to endure all that you endure, All For The Love of You.
A personal relationship is one that is filled with love, support and genuine admiration for one another. It is a relationship that a person desires to have, once or numerous times, in his or her life. That same relationship can be experienced as well with the Heavenly Father, complete with intimate moments shared and blessings to encourage one forward. God desires to have this relational connection with each of us, but it may be hard to decipher where exactly God may be directing us to through this relationship. Author Vander Jones seeks to uncover aspects of this mysterious bond between Father and child in his new book The Novice, aiding readers in recognizing their spiritual gifts and discovering their purpose in God`s predetermined plan for them. A novice indeed, like a child on the first day of kindergarten holding on tightly to the hand or squeezing the leg of a parent, I embraced the Holy Spirit as He began leading me into all truth about various stages throughout my existence. Such embracing defines not only observing the truth of what the Holy Spirit reveals, but also humbly, and at times courageously, responding to it appropriately. Vander expounds on this journey of discovery into God`s interactions with us through our environment, in moments of silence and with the transformation of our hearts. The lives of well-known biblical characters such as Jeremiah, Saul, and Elijah are also viewed in terms of what was revealed in their personal interactions with God, along with what Vander has learned in his own relationship with God. As each of us shed our thoughts of inadequacy and embrace the feelings of purpose in God`s redemptive plan, we learn the importance of having a personal relationship with the Creator and our eternal Father God.
"This book is intended to be an 'operator's manual for faith' that will encourage you in your Christian walk. It will help you clarify your understanding about faith, how it works, and how it can be used to live a victorious life every day." the author. "Faith is important. It is the way God has chosen for us to live, and it is the way He enables us to live victorious Christian lives. To live any other way not only displeases and dishonors God, but it relegates us to misery and ineffectiveness." the author. "Christians will gain a deeper sense of their walk in faith and in God in reading this "manual of faith". John Turpin discusses the importance of living a faith-filled life, the Biblical and material definition of faith, and provides many sound examples and personal anecdotes..." Krystina Murray, Xulon Press. "The author includes a host of stimulating questions to engage the reader on faith... The author's passion about Christ, along with the awareness of Biblical events gives the author a strong sense of credibility in the reading. Readers will value the author's insights and Biblical knowledge while further illustrating points with engaging examples..." Krystina Murray, Xulon Press.
Have you ever wondered what lies beyond the stars when you look up at the sky? Most of us are very familiar with the solar system. In addition to planets, the Solar System is made up of moons, asteroids, comets, much smaller planets, dust and gas. Everything in the Solar System revolves around the sun. However, what lies beyond what we can see with our human technology? Did our Creator just stop creating in the darkness of outer space? What about this place called heaven? Is this a real place or just a fabrication for those who desperately need to know there is something wonderful to look forward to, after this life? On Valentine's Day, February 14, 2009, the Lord opened my eyes to see something so extraordinary. He gave me a glimpse of heaven. It wasn't until now that I felt it was time to put this in writing as an inspiration to all those who wonder, "Is there an afterlife, and if so, what is it like?" In the book I Saw Heaven, A glimpse into Eternity, you will take a journey with me to a place that is so far beyond what any of us could fathom. Up until this experience, my own view of heaven was largely based on the Bible, and little bits of information I have heard over the years. On that day, however, my view of heaven came alive like a 3D panoramic movie; but it wasn't a movie; what I saw was real! After this heavenly experience, my life will never be the same, and I live to encourage others to receive Christ as their Savior, and to let them know that what awaits them when they die is a paradise that is unlike anything they could possibly imagine! Chris Louer is a native born Californian who lives in Mission Viejo, California. Chris, a Bible teacher, received the Lord at the age of seven, and has been teaching and ministering to women for twenty five years. God's faithfulness to His Word is a reality to Chris and the gentle, practical way she encourages women, has won her the loving respect of women she has ministered to in Bible Studies, retreats, conferences, and individually over the past twenty five years. Chris and her husband Ron have been married for forty one years. They have two grown married daughters, Melissa and Adrianne and five grandchildren, Caedon, Alyssa, Cole, Hailey, and Ashley, as well as two godly son-in-laws, Shane and Aron. With boldness and practical teaching, Chris delivers the Word to this current generation, alerting the Body of Christ to what God requires to remain overcomers in these days.
YOU PROBABLY CARE ABOUT YOUR ORGANIZATION THE SAME WAY YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BODY. God was very deliberate in how He designed our bodies. Very intricate, pain-staking detail has been applied to every single one of our bodies. Every unique cell, every unique tissue, every unique muscle, every unique organ plays a part in how our bodies function daily. How much thought do you really give to the uniqueness of your body? How much thought do you give to how it functions, how it is nurtured and cared for? How much effort and time do you take to make sure your body is well on the inside and well on the outside? You probably care about your organization the same way you care about your body. Your organization probably functions as well as your body functions. Do you treat your organization (i.e., company, business, place of worship, non-profit entity, social association) the same way you treat your body? As you give true thought to how amazingly, intricately and uniquely designed your body is, you ought to take a moment to think about how distinctively designed your organization is. Amazingly, intricately, and uniquely designed. Sonja Phillips Nichols has served in many organizational leadership roles on both a local and regional level. She has worked in Corporate America and as an entrepreneur; provided support on several nonprofit boards; performed in executive leadership in several social organizations; and continues to assist as a Sunday School teacher in her church. Nichols, Jr. and is the proud mother of two fantastic sons, Richard III and James, and a beautiful daughter, Kayla, the talented illustrator of this book. Photography by Darlene Noisette Ferguson

This devotional guide is designed for the advent season traditionally a four week period leading up to Christmas. This guide has five daily devotions for each week. The hope is that with each devotional the reader through the scriptures comes to a deeper knowledge of the Savior. That from the scripture the reader would come to the true understanding of who Jesus is, why He came, and what the Christmas celebration is truly about. When the meaning of Christmas is understood then hopefully all of the traditions and celebrations associated with Christmas will take on a deeper purpose and value.
We sing hymns with passion and joy, as an outgrowth of our personal relationship with the God of the universe. We carry them in our hearts and minds and teach them to our children. We may add in other songs of praise, but we return often to the time-tested anthems as a theological anchor, rich in truth and glorious in their reverence of the Almighty. King David's proclamation to "Sing to the Lord a new song . . . " (Psalm 96:1) is a most suitable response to our Heavenly Father, whose mercies to His beloved are new every day. The hymns in this book are new songs, in a variety of musical styles, for both personal and corporate worship of our Lord. Author Dave Fillman served for 21 years as an officer in the Air Force and presently works as an attorney at the Pentagon. He has played piano for 45 years, written music for almost as long, and served in many music ministry roles. He currently leads a church worship team, sings in the choir, and is a leader and pianist in an interdenominational Bible study.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Prov. 3: 5-6 As we navigate through the waves and storms of life, there is one thing we can always rely on; God is there with us. He is constantly showing up as our refuge and shelter, an ever present help in times of trouble. In our attempt to rule our own lives we fail to see how fulfilling and joyous life can be if we just trust Jesus Christ to be our ruler and guide. Let us lean not on our worldly understanding but trust in the Lord to shine the light on the path of righteousness that constantly leads to Him. Betty is in tears, they are moving and their family dining table has sold. But her unsympathetic husband says, "The table isn't important, it is what happens at the table that matters" This book is about both, the table, and what happens at the table. "Table Time" is an opportunity to step back in time and learn about the evolution of tables, cultural norms and manners from an era when people used their fingers to eat and knives were not even invented. It is an invitation to sit with people from all over the world as they share their table experiences with you. You will be entertained in Chronos (calendar) time, but discover it is in Kairos, or God's time, that lives are changed. You will read about friendship and forgiveness, how faith overcomes fear, and that "Table Time" is where life happens and memories are made; you may even experience your own Kairos moments. The author was born in Scotland. At age twelve she migrated with her parents and seven siblings to Tasmania, Australia. This book is about how I found the road to Heaven, which fundamentally is based on my testimony how I proved to my satisfaction that I was a Christian. I accomplish this by using premises, postulates, simple logic, and analogies that use common words and phrases, such as, road, vehicle, fuel, ladder, and system, and the phrase travelling the road. These all are well explained. Other aspects discussed include information on: the one we love so much; a good leader (giving who is the greatest); assurance and salvation; my life that provides some insight on it; and the bases for my not giving much thought to God until I returned from the military.

The world is changing more rapidly than ever. Mankind seems to be moving away from God. Is this just human progress, or is there something more going on? We pigeonhole our problems, and seek a separate solution for each one, but is there a common thread? I will never forget that sound as long as I live. It was a sound you know thatyou know-something is not right. And indeed something is very wrong: what follows is an encounter with the mostinfamous serial rapist in the history of New Zealand-neither the first trauma of herlife nor the last. Her continuing search for answers to life''s questions takes heracross divergent occult practices: astrology, psychic phenomena, Eastern religion, the New Age movement, witchcraft and a disappointing relationship with a giftedmedium. Then a simple paperback book stirs her spirit and sets her on a newcourse. Ultimately, she finds her answers in the Lord, learns the power offorgiveness and embraces the strength forged by adversity. Gutsy, moving andachingly honest, this is not fiction; this is testimony and truth-sometimesuncomfortable, sometimes joyful, often wrenching. Such is the nature of truth.

THE TRUTH ABOUT WORSHIP is a very unique exposition on perhaps, the greatest subject of the Christian faith in general, and our personal relationship with Christ and with His Body-the Church, in particular. The book features Definitions, Dynamics and the Discipline of worship that provide readers with a fuller and richer understanding of the phenomenon of worship. I believe the Lord has helped me to write a very special book that will not only help believers to worship God powerfully, but will also help ministers worship & serve God effectively. This book is a life book-worship is my life (not just a lifestyle). I have literally been writing on the SHAPING OF THE WORTH OF GOD for almost three decades. It is a huge resource material for churches, ministries, Bible schools, seminaries. Worship leaders & their pastors will find this book a huge blessing in developing their relationship to lead their congregations into the presence of God. The presentation style of the book makes it an easy read for both clergy and laity. THE TRUTH ABOUT WORSHIP: "Shaping the Worth of God Book One" is a must-read for church folks and unchurched people as well.Saved since the 1970s, Anthony Osuobeni has served the Body of Christ in numerous capacities as a campus Christian leader, pastor, senior pastor, Christian educator, prayer devotee, and worship leader. He is a missionary in the United States, and he is a well sought-after conference speaker. Bishop Anthony is driven by two "ships" - wor(ship) and leader(ship), to which he devotes his ever-growing speaking and writing ministry. Ordained as a Bishop and Commissioned as an Apostle of Jesus Christ, Anthony is passionate about apostolic church formations, and is "obsessed" with "scripture-pastures" on the Body of Christ. He is a core Pauline-student of the Word and a five-fold minister. Anthony ministers internationally in Europe, Asia and Africa and offers apostolic leadership to churches and ministries in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, India, Canada and the United States. He is the Lead Pastor of New Season Global Worship Center- a healthy worshipping church in Columbus, Ohio. Tony is trained as a lawyer and resides in the Westerville suburb of Columbus, Ohio, USA, with his wife, Ibiene and their three children - Tarela, Taribo and Tarike.
Drunken parents. A violently abusive father. Absence of adult supervision and guidance. Those factors in Tony Pallotto''s upbringing produced a calloused heart and reckless disregard for himself and others. He could''ve killed himself. And almost did. He could''ve killed others. And tried. But an overriding spiritual agenda scuttled those outcomes - and dispatched the guy Tony angrily tried to kill as an unlikely personal messenger in a land far from where they''d first locked horns. Later, as an enlightened young man leading the stable, wholesome family life he''d never previously known, moral compromise and corporate prosperity led him down a self-destructive path similar to the one he''d taken as a teen - one that mimicked the disengaged, dysfunctional parents he''d never wanted to emulate. Finally, when it all came crashing down, Tony was left with nothing but fertile wreckage, combined with newfound humility and bearing. It all led to a redeemed life and purpose that has proved vital to families plagued by the same type of rebellion that once - no, twice - defined Tony. And, it led to peace and hope that endure - even amid unspeakable family tragedy. These pages unfurl a dynamic saga of car wrecks, dope houses, drug overdoses, death-defying dashes and workplace drama - all of it incidental to a climax that chronicles souls plucked from the fire and fractured families restored.
Painted Churches is not about religion; this book is based on God's desire for us to have our identity, purpose, and destiny in Jesus Christ .If you've ever had regrets, been hurt, felt angry, sad, discouraged, betrayed, confused, hopeless, spiritually attacked, lonely, broken, fearful, suicidal, or have struggled with UN-forgiveness, drugs, and alcohol; while also increasingly becoming more uncertain about your "true" identity, purpose, and destiny, this book is for you. Thank God there is hope for us through Jesus Christ . The Word of God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Painted Churches is a valuable resource of literature that has God's guiding light leading us to victory through faith in Jesus Christ .Painted Churches is filled with poetry, short stories, powerful prayers, heart-wrenching testimonies, and quotes from many of today's greatest believers and warriors for the kingdom of GOD. Painted Churches will teach you how to pray with confidence, use your faith, and how to plead the blood of Jesus Christ over your life, and so much more. Jesus Christ is our personal Savior, Jesus Christ is mighty in battle, and He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. He loves us, protects us, heals us, and wants to work through us (individually) as painted churches.Craig Montgomery is an evangelist, author, poet, teacher, and speaker. He is dedicated to winning souls for the kingdom of God. He resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Pam and has one daughter, Mariyon. He spent countless hours, days, months, and years studying, researching, teaching, discipling, and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, winning hundreds of souls along the way. This man of God has heard the voice of God, while also witnessing the power of faith and prayer: seen breakthroughs in people's lives with healing, miracles, victory over spiritual warfare, prosperity, and also seeing the living, powerful, supernatural Word of God in action, pulling down strongholds. Evangelist Craig Montgomery has a deep love and extraordinary compassion for hurt and lost people, and is ecstatic about telling the whole world about salvation through Jesus Christ, leading people to their "true" identities, purposes, and destinies in Jesus Christ.
