EVERY WORD OF GOD IS TRUE AND ALIVE. HE IS EVER FAITHFUL AND SHOWS HIMSELF MIGHTY IN THE LIVES OF THOSE THAT TRUST AND BELIEVE IN HIM. IT IS HIS UNFAILING DESIRE THAT ALL SHOULD RETURN TO HIM THROUGH HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRIST, WHO HE ALLOWED TO SHED HIS BLOOD ON THE CROSS FOR OUR REDEMPTION. THE ONLY ESCAPE FOR THE HUMAN RACE FROM THE CATASTROPHE THAT IS ABOUT TO ENGULF THE ENTIRE EARTH IS TO RUN TO THE MAIN PILLAR JESUS CHRIST...WHILE THERE IS BREATH. HIM ALONE IS THE TRUTH, THE WAY AND THE LIFE. HE ALONE HAS THE POWER OVER OUR LIVES AND HE HOLDS IT IN HIS HANDS. I HOLD A UNIVERSITY DEGREE IN COMMUNCATIONS, A CERTIFICATE IN THEOLOGY. MARRIED WITH CHILDREN. I AM A LOVER OF GOD BY HIS GRACE, AND IS ALIVE TODAY TO HIS GLORY TO BE PART OF HIS TESTIMONY OF HOW AWESOME AND MIGHTY OUR GOD JEHOVAH IS.
In Found, Forgiven, Forever! Clarice Erickson writes about her remarkable life journey. She reflects on her loving childhood home, her commitment to family, her struggle to find inner peace and comfort, her faith in God, and her role as a Christian businesswoman. Clarice rejoices in how she "found salvation and joy" after falling into a deep, dark depression and experiencing great emotional pain. She warmly shares her life story to show how God used her-a "doll doctor"-to bring His message of love and hope to others so that they, too, might be "forgiven forever." Clarice Erickson is a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and cherished friend to many. She owned and operated "Antie Clare's" Doll Hospital, Shop & Museum for 37 years before retiring. A dynamic speaker and storyteller, Clare enjoyed leading tour groups through her doll museum, making hundreds of presentations, and starting many doll clubs. She also used her dolls to talk about how God filled her heart with joy and gave her strength to face life's challenges. Her personal life story-a tribute to God's love and faithfulness-has been shared with many listening audiences, because Clare is passionate in serving the Lord and helping others become filled with His peace.
"Read slowly. Read reflectively. You will be captivated and challenged. But hopefully, you will be motivated to respond with a greater level of commitment to walk with God, and allow your life to be an instrument in His hands." "Mankind is indebted to Ralph Scott for this excellent and unique book, which I am sure will touch lives for generations to come. He is a great encourager, and a man of great passion for the cause of Christ. His writings have a way of challenging the mind, connecting with the spirit, and moving our hearts to a better place. He has the gift of creating poetic melodies that display Mr. Scott's ability to produce symphonies with words. It is without question that God has placed his hand on this author in the writing of this magnificent work. My prayer is that this collection or volume will breathe life into everyone that will read it." Rev. Larry J. Sanders, Sr. Pastor, Keller Springs Baptist Church Carrollton, Texas "Ralph Scott has allowed God to use him to bless many people who are searching for that peace of God which passes all understanding. " Blessings' Door...Still In Season" clearly shows his love for the Father, and evidence of this love is found throughout the book. The poems are so heavenly! This is one of those books that can be used as a devotional to inspire one daily to never give up on God and yourself. God's grace and mercy are truly new every morning!" Rev. Bobby Gibson, Sr. MA, LPC, Counselor Supervisor Fellowship Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Dallas, Texas
"The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach" (Revelation 12:14). "After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words" (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18). "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left" (Matthew 24:34-41).
The Scarlet Thread is a collection of poetry that touches on the Old Testament story of Rahab, the Jericho prostitute, who saves her family "on the signal of a scarlet thread." This collection metaphorically explores the symbolism of the scarlet thread and its lifeline throughout scripture and its extension within today's society. * * * * * A thread...Sometimes in life all we have to hold on to is a thread. I have come to understand and respect the power of God that he releases into a thread. With a rib thread, He made woman. With a hem thread, He healed a woman, and with a scarlet thread, He yet again extended the skirt of His covering and saved a woman and her household. May the words found here in this collection of poetry reveal the threads of life that God has divinely positioned for you. Holding to the thread is to hold on to God's unchanging hand. Your Scarlet Thread awaits you. Pastor Peter M. Taffe Founder/Senior Pastor Life by Design Ministries Aurora, CO www.lbdm.org
Most people who know anything at all about the Bible want to know more about the book of Revelation. The Apostle John, exiled on the isle of Patmos in his old age, wrote down what the Lord Jesus revealed to him in a message concerning the events surrounding the end of the world as we know it. However, much of the book is difficult for people to understand. There are three keys this author believes are essential for a solid and thorough understanding of Revelation. First, Revelation changes scenes quite often. One moment John is speaking about something that is taking place on earth. The next he is explaining something that is taking place in heaven. The reader must know which scene is being discussed. Second, there are many symbols used in Revelation, but each of those symbols are explicitly explained somewhere else in Scripture. The reader does not have to come up with an explanation from the extravagant recesses of his imagination. Third, one should not make Revelation fit current events. Rather, put your trust in the Word of God and let current events come into place as the "day of Jesus Christ" approaches. WILLIAM TEMPLETON has been pastoring churches for forty years. We are living proof that creation occurred. The only question is; how did it occur? In this book we will use the Bible and our God given common sense to seek the truth and the truth has no middle ground. One caution: In seeking the truth we will only use what the Bible actually says; not what we might have been told or taught it says. America is becoming a Godless nation and the ones of us that are age 50 or older have let it happen; on our watch. Our Forefathers gave us a God Fearing Christian Nation with Jesus Christ at the heart and center, and we have let our elected political leaders appoint atheist judges that have kicked God out of our schools, court houses and public life in general. The chapter, God's Creation may be controversial to some Christians. If you are an Old Earth Creationist, please read the entire chapter before you judge this work. I make the same challenge to the Young Earth Creationists. Regardless of when Creation of the Universe occurred, the Bible is very clear that Adam & Eve were on Earth only 6,000 to 10,000 years ago. I am neither an ordained minister nor a Bible theologian and my only qualification for writing this book is: I believe God wanted it written. After you read the chapter, God in Action, I believe you will understand why.I am a Baptist by faith, but the important thing is, I am a member of Christ's Church and His Church is not of this earth. As such, I cannot guarantee you will like this book, but I can guarantee that it will be different from any book you have ever read. Jerry McConnell, Author
In the tranquility of the forest, in the stillness of a house, in the quiet moments of life -- God can be found, and He has a plan for you and every one of His creations. The mysteries of life can project a very dark, gloomy outlook towards the future, but with the Holy One lighting the way, each moment into the future is more peaceful and freeing. Christian author Paul Conklin explores this truth about God, in poetic verse, in his new book, Whispers in the Stillness. Removing oneself from the constant chatter of life and opening oneself towards meditation, Paul has discovered God's guiding force, urging His children to love others, to embrace His presence in nature and to rest in His eternal hands. Even if in the midst of problems, God has the power to help His children rise from the ashes and continue their story again.
When you went out to John in the desert, what did you expect to see? A blade of grass bending in the wind? A man dressed up in fancy clothes? People who dress like that live in palaces!(Mt.11:7-8) Jesus addressing John's disciples who had been sent to find out if Jesus was the real Messiah. His response was not only shocking but also very didactic about the mark of a true prophet. A true prophet is humble, down to earth and honest. He or she gives the true message to God's people, not the message that the people want to hear, a true prophet will not give prophecy that serves self- interest. The Holy Spirit will inevitably guide the prophecy. In this captivating book, Pastor Peter Gunn bares open this most sensitive topic of how to tell a true prophecy from the untrue one. This book could not have come at a better time when varied signs and messages are given to God's people from all directions by their so-called spiritual mentors. The Time experienced in religious circles is indeed hard and personal interests are taking a front seat at the expense of giving of God's message to the people. Pastor Peter Gunn has researched deeply on the false prophecies, spicing his explanations with first person experiences and biblical texts. The book is an interesting informative and inspirational spiritual read;it will provide both guidance and support to the keen and enthusiastic followers of Christ. It is imperative also to note that prophecy is a global mayhem!
This work is a serious challenge to atheists like Richard Dawkins who seek meaning without God. The universe and life have a story to tell, and this book makes that story accessible to the lay person. With fresh insight into the mystery of the origin of life, the essential point of the book is that all life is based on information. Just as a computer program infers the existence of a programmer, so the elegance and mind-boggling complexity of DNA, and the biochemical machinery it creates, point to a creative intelligence. Who is this creator? The book suggests he is the one known in the Bible as "I AM who I AM". The author seeks to lead the reader, assisted by scientific evidence and a series of logical propositions, down a pathway to a deeper faith. How far that pathway is traveled is up to each reader to decide. ... a thoughtful and refreshingly unbiased work which uses scientific principle to confirm faith-based explanation. ... This really is the most welcoming, comprehensive and comprehendible book on the subject I've ever read. Jack Walton, Editorial Consultant, Xulon Press
The never-ending "why" why did my husband cheat on me? Why do I have cancer? Why is my mother dying? Helen Kimble will show you that some answers life gives are better than "why", bigger than "why" and make "why" irrelevant. Lessons from My Heart is an autobiography that begins in the hours after the terrorist attacks in September 2001. As an airline attendant Kimble's life was changed when her flight was immediately grounded in Alabama; from then on she faced mountains of upheaval that at times felt insurmountable. How do we adjust to what we can't understand? Kimble shares the thoughts, emotions and lessons she learned navigating through waters she did not know. From divorce to a breast cancer diagnosis to struggling with depression, Kimble offers the most precious kind of hope: firsthand experience that things end well for those who choose to believe.
HOW DO YOU GET YOUR CHURCH FROM STAGNATION TO THE VIBRANT AND LIVING CHURCH THAT GOD INTENDED? The idea of home prayer groups, home Bible studies or community groups is not new to the church. The difference is when that small group promotes the essential, evangelistic components of the New Testament Church. Therefore, this book is not an introduction of a new paradigm, but rather a return to the New Testament paradigm. It is the reigniting of the dual-pronged ministry of the first century church: The ministry of teaching and evangelism that took place in the temple or the public place and also from house to house (the apostles' model in Jerusalem - Acts 5:42 and the apostle Paul's model in his church planting ministry, i.e. Ephesus - Acts 20:20). Here is a book on the application of that apostolic model, therefore the title "The Growth Group Strategy." David Galvan has been a pastor of "New Life" for the past 32 years. He is given to expository preaching, to extraordinary prayer, and to discipleship. However, one of his greatest burdens has been to see the church that he pastors imitate the New Testament Church; thus the strategy of Growth Groups.
Believers say that God is perfectly good, and that he's all-powerful. They also say he created the whole world and everything in it. But the world is filled with evil. Everywhere you look there's violence, corruption, injustice, poverty, starvation, and disease. If there really were a perfectly good and all-powerful God who created everything, how could he allow the world to go so bad? If he were perfectly good then he wouldn't want evil to exist, right? And if he were all-powerful then he could prevent evil from existing, right? So either he's not perfectly good, or he's not all-powerful, or he just doesn't exist. So goes the old "Problem of Evil" argument. With its own unyielding logic, it insists that the existence of evil proves that Christians just can't be right about God. Either God isn't everything that Christians say he is, or he isn't there at all. Case closed-right? Wrong. A careful, skeptical analysis of this argument-the kind of analysis that this book provides-reveals that the argument is hiding not one, but several, logical fallacies. Fallacies that ultimately show it to be little more than a clever brain teaser. J. D. Amley offers a compelling case that evil does not rule out the existence of a perfectly good, all-powerful God. Along the way he covers issues such as "gratuitous" evil, divine mercy, and eternal punishment. And from there, "It's up to you to decide what that means when it comes to God and Christianity."
High-Fives for Homophones is a terrific book for third and fourth graders to read with a parent, or alone, based on reading level or family preference. Educators could read aloud in class during a unit on homophones; a chapter a day over consecutive days. Fifth graders could use as reinforcement of former class usage. All would be provided with a delightful story. A great resource for parents; a tremendous supplement to classroom work per comments from parents and children: "This story definitely reinforces what Nicholas is working on in school. He just had a spelling test on homophones. It is a nice blend of narrative and dialogue. We had fun, it built curiosity and awareness, and some academic competition. Here are 8 more sets, if you want to add them to your list!" Jennifer Ferguson, Nicholas' Mom "It was really cool to hear a story about a friend and other boys around my age. It was great to read about two neighbors." Nicholas Ferguson, 3rd grader, Cicero, NY "The story reinforced homophone usage. It would be a fun game to use in the car." Sue T., Allison's Mom "It was really good!"

History in the making in the 1800s and 1900s in a small rural Southeastern community is something that most Americans never get to experience in their lifetime. A lot of readers would enjoy reading about such a magical place in time, especially how life was without public transportation, without public communication, without electricity and without inside running water and bathroom facilities. It provides an eye-opening perspective into today's American luxuries! Nevertheless, love stories of families excelling in such "a time as this" is evident and resilience holds while technology abounds. Snow Camp, North Carolina today is much the same with several churches, one elementary school, one post office, one gas station, one fire station, a couple of restaurants, and a couple of small grocery/variety stores. It does boast of an Outdoor Drama, "The Sword of Peace" that draws many visitors during the Summer. A historical marker located in the heart of Snow Camp states that Lord Cornwallis camped in the area after the Battle of Guilford Courthouse and used the home of a Quaker, Simon Dixon, as his headquarters. This is a documentation of a place in"time" as it slowly, but surely, slips away! Debbie Moon, the author, was granted the privilege of growing up in such an environment at such a time as this! She is a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, church musician, children's choir director, paralegal analyst, breast cancer survivor, and friend to all. Blessings to you as her legacy is shared.

Divine Paradigm highlights the difference a worldview makes when facing life's daily challenges. Part One defines what a worldview is, explains how a worldview provides a paradigm for all of life, and describes current worldviews vying for our embrace and allegiance. Part Two addresses specific topics that are in crisis in our current culture and that confront each of us daily. Each of the 19 topical chapters follows a pattern of identifying and describing the topic, and then presenting a biblical paradigm as a solution or, at the least, a consideration for the topic. Topics range from... - vocations to making important decisions, - education to dating, - morality to marriage, - parenting to dealing with illness and grief, and more. An interesting read. I enjoyed reviewing and working on it. Divine Paradigm is erudite in its content and style, yet accessible enough to appeal to a wide audience. The author demonstrates authority in the subject while remaining humble in tone, allowing him to connect with the reader in applying these biblical truths. At first glance, it's a powerful book that successfully combines biblical wisdom with life experience in a cohesive, convincing whole. Well done. -David, professional editor This book is intended for personal growth and is practical for small group use. William Bartlett has served as a parish pastor for 29 years and as the founding executive director of Crean Lutheran High School, Irvine, CA, for nine years. The common denominator of Pastor Bartlett's ministry in both congregation and school has been a love for Jesus Christ and the Bible - both of which reveal God's gift of salvation and His paradigm for life.
This is a Bible study that will focus upon a long neglected passage of Scripture- 1 Corinthians 15:20-28. This passage from the apostle Paul is actually a divinely inspired outline or blueprint of the different "orders" or "companies" of saints involved in the resurrection of the righteous-those who have been saved throughout the ages and in the future as well. Of course, all believers anticipate their personal bodily resurrections from the dead as guaranteed by our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. However, this passage in 1 Corinthians 15 informs us that the saved of earth will not all be resurrected at the same time and in the same event. Paul revealed that there are three different "orders" or "companies" to be resurrected at three distinct times and in three separate events. Many theologians have shown confusion and hesitancy in their abilities to interpret this passage. Consequently, in the discussion about the soon coming Rapture of the Church, most seem to avoid any careful use of this passage. Sad to say, the passage has literally been "set on the shelf," as it were, in the discussion of the pretribulational or posttribulational Rapture of the Church. In this study, you will find that this passage is actually far more useful and strategic in the determination of the issues than anyone has ever realized. We know from the Hebrew Scriptures that God required all Israel to appear before Him three times in the year at what has been designated as the "Three Harvest Feasts." In a similar manner, the apostle Paul taught that the resurrection (or harvest, 1 Cor. 15:35-38) of the righteous dead to appear before God will be in three distinct stages or "each in his own order" (1 Cor. 15:23). We shall see that these "orders" were designed by the Spirit of God to fit perfectly the parallel of the sequence of the three designated Harvest Feasts. Early in his ministry, Jack W. Langford stepped outside the traditional man-made religious organizations of Christendom and served the only Church that Christ is building-"the body of Christ" (1 Cor. 12:13 and Eph. 4:1-4). He exemplified a Bible teaching ministry, conducted radio programs, held public discussions with both atheists and cult leaders, and traveled to several different countries in the service of Christ. For the last twenty years, he has researched and written many biblical studies on a wide variety of subjects. Many are available at www.SeparationTruth.com. "There have been many seasons in my life where I was at a very low, desolate place and felt like I was all alone. During these times, I felt there was no one I could call who would understand what I was going through; and just when I thought all hope was gone, I heard a small, still voice say to me, 'Be ye encouraged!' " So begins Tomiko Starling's uplifting exhortation to seek God's encouragement in the daily circumstances of life that affect us all. Page after page, the message thunders loud and clear-"No matter the problem, find courage in God. No matter the trial, He has the answer." Starling masterfully takes truths from the Word of God and lays a foundation for a faith-filled life of victory and blessing. Covering the full spectrum of life, she tackles the issues of increasing in boldness, showing compassion, conquering fear, developing faith, hearing God's voice, loving your enemies, fostering thankfulness, and on the list goes. No matter the problem or difficulty you face, you'll find the encouragement and help you need to effect true and lasting change in your life. So grab a cup of coffee or tea, settle into a cozy, comfortable chair, and get ready to be ye encouraged! Tomiko Starling has endured many trials and tribulations in her life, but with the help of God and His Word, she has made it through them all. Be Ye Encouraged is the result of a seven-month adventure with God as He gave her the titles and the messages as she rode to work each day on a commuter bus. Having found encouragement for herself, she now freely shares that same encouragement with others. Married and the mother of three children, Starling currently resides with her family in northern Virginia.
At the end of episodes, Col. John "Hannibal" Smith would say, "I love it when a plan comes together," the catch phrase of the A-Team's leader played by George Peppard. Only four souls comprised this group. 'Discovering Secrets of the Prophets' gives an account of a far greater collection of forces than theirs. Each person who weighs all this book's components together in earnest may become part of a journey that will intensify awareness and relationships. Agreement with many others compels courses with indefinable insight, and agreement with God holds power. Our concern of our own vitality to the community in which we live and surrounding society can add distinction to a gathering momentum by opening up to or further attending to the will of whom resides in us all. The stronger our belief, the more our determination influences others. The more our deliberate regard increases the number of souls, which our purposeful actions positively affect, the more God will reward us the desires of our hearts. And we get to experience the joy of giving gifts in the world to our spouses, our kids, our friends and more... Giving love in all things, the blessings convey to them pervasive, spiritual, truths discovered and rooted in those who open their eyes to see the power of hopes and expectations coming to pass. Open the book to see how God's supernatural way before us in Part One fills us with strength of purpose, and discover how His unseen world in Part Two indelibly intertwines with societal concepts, defining and binding sectors together. I find this book to be inspirational and necessary to pick up and read... even days beyond after reading the book." - 5 out of 5- Rated by: Liliana Gretzer Houston, Texas
This memoir takes you on a journey into two people's lives, witnessing their deep love for each other, their adventures and triumphs, and how they played their hand when faced with a sudden and terminal diagnosis. It is filled with anecdotes, wisdom, and health and medical information, but most of all, you will experience God's ultimate love and provision. You will laugh, cry, be amazed and inspired, and you will not look at life or loss in the same way. "The narrator decides, 'Either I believe the Bible, or I don't! I am now in a position to prove what I believe.' What follows is a journey of faith and love and singular courage. Tender and deeply affecting. Voice is friendly, clear, and rhythmic. Pages turn fast. Contains one of the best, most concise, and telling bits of characterization I've ever read. Professionally crafted" (Xulon Press). Is the Bible God's inspired word? After all, many believe that it is only a historical book; however, through the study of the fulfilled Messianic prophecies outlined in Eternal Life, an overwhelming case can be made for the Bible's miraculous inspiration. Messianic prophecies, within ancient Old Testament passages, confirm facts about Jesus Christ. Two thousand years ago, this humble, compassionate man utterly transformed the religious world forever. Who really was this baby born in a manger? Eternal Life not only proves the authenticity of the Bible, but also presents God's plan for saving the lost from eternal destruction. Tragically, there are an abundance of doctrines that teach different ways to be forgiven from sin, yet the Scriptures clearly teach that there is only one way. Even Satan believes that Christ exists and that He is powerful, so how does someone enter everlasting life? Everlasting life cannot be earned; it is a free gift of God. Nonetheless, great multitudes choose to reject the giver of everlasting life and live a life of sin instead. What is the eternal outcome of those who claim to follow Christ yet refuse to stop their hatred, unforgiveness, slander, and sexual immorality? Eternal Life answers these questions through the teaching of the foundational, sacred beliefs from God's word.
Jamie's parents were pillars of the community. They were the perfect couple, with a perfect child. They were involved in the right church, the right charities, the right clubs, and, what others thought of them was very important. When Jamie went off to college, she found that her sheltered life had not prepared her for the activities that some of her friends engaged in, but, without too much hesitation, she became involved in a lifestyle that hardly mirrored the one she'd lived at home. Not surprisingly, she found herself pregnant, and didn't exactly know who the father was. She returned home to find that her parents were not willing for others to know about their imperfect daughter's pregnancy. She was shipped off to Amelia, a distant older cousin, who she had never met, to have her baby. Then she met Guy, a handsome Christian man, who treated her like no man ever had, and, he was crazy about her twins. Jamie had to admit she loved him, but how could she tell him that she didn't know who fathered her beautiful children. Would this wonderful moral man want nothing more to do with her if she told him about her past? But, how could she not tell him? She owed him that much.
Warning this book may prevent you from making an unsafe career choice!! Everyone wants to make sure that the career chosen is profitable and manageable. I suggest in this book to look at any and every career except a caregiver or certified nurse assistant. It appears that this is a career where individuals will gamble with their personal health and well being in order to care for someone else. The risks are huge! If you get injured you will likely be put out to pasture within five years. If you are lucky working in nursing homes, residential care facilities and hospitals will last up to five years. Injuries on the job can take you out of commission on the first day. Please read this short book that describes what I have personally learned about the various health care organizations where caregivers suffer the most. The book describes the do's and don't surrounding the various environments that caregivers may work. This book is a testimonial on the scenarios that I have witnessed. The names of individual businesses and professionals have been kept confidential. The activities that occur within walls of these institutions is described to inform the new comers of what could potentially occur. I am currently not working as a certified nurse assistant after eight years of service. There are too many risks that could include permanent and total disability. What makes it worse is that the workers are not adequately protected. Staffing is low, pay is minimal and risk of injury are extremely high. Unions, lawyers and workers compensation laws are weak. Recovery is questionable if you get hurt and then how do you support yourself and family? The book contents include: Training, Where Are The Jobs, Patients Rights to Religion, Activities, Skills, Hazards, Personal Expenses, Scenario of CNA, At the End of the Day and CNA/Rights-Patient Rights.
When family comes together, anything is possible and nothing is off-limits. That at least is the sentiment when family members unite for the funeral of beloved pastor Herb Petterson. Everyone is there to support and comfort his grieving widow, Silivia, but the waves of family drama are just about to form, especially when it comes to what path the family is to take next. For Silivia, it is realizing that she, now, will face life without her loving Herb, while dealing with long-standing issues with conniving sister-in-law Yvonne as well as belligerent church member Velma. There is also her and sister-in-law Patience's suspicion that Herb's death was not a natural event, but a scheme performed by someone close. He was healthy; he worked out; he ate right, but why did he have the sights of a junkie that overdosed? The toxin screen showed nothing out of the ordinary. Lord, help me find the reason he died the way he did. No, I'm Just Protected will make readers feel as though they are welcomed guests to Sunday dinner with the Petterson family, catching up on family drama as plates are filled, laughter is shared and prayers are said. Whether it's realizing a brother-in-law's new girlfriend is not what she seems or trying to find the strength to move forward after a loved one's death, No, I'm Just Protected is filled with intrigue, humor and an array of unique characters that will keep readers entertained until the last chapter. Will the real truth of Pastor Herb's death be revealed? How will the family respond to the antics of the sly Yvonne? I have seen the unfading beauty through all these years and I wonder, how can a woman maintain so much beauty with all life's burden and pains? She indeed has Aphrodite's charm, the goddess of love in beauty in her own right. She had been the picture not of a strong woman but a woman of strength. Like the goddess of war, she faced life's toughest battles but like the goddess of wisdom, she gave it a good fight. For countless times, she faced heaps of trials, problems after problems, yet through it all, she has stood firm and emerged victorious. She did not give mankind the olive as Athena did, but she showed faith, shared friendship and gave love. This world in me might not really exist, but she does. . She made a difference to numerous lives because God made a difference in hers. She is a living testimony that life is a test, it is unfair, it's never easy, it can give us immeasurable pain but if we have the one true God, Jesus Christ, we will pass it with flying colors.
