"Some people say that Christians should never be depressed. I take issue with that, being a quadriplegic who has battled cancer and struggles daily with pain. I love my Savior, am passionate about His Gospel, and enjoy the ministry He has given me. But that does not exclude me from occasionally stumbling into the miry pit of dark emotions. I enthusiastically endorse this book and recommend it to pastors, families, leaders, and Christian counselors!" - Joni Eareckson Tada, director of Joni and Friends International Disability Center, author, and speaker In this achingly honest work, Dr. Somerville explains that depression is not restricted to the secular world. Throughout history, godly men and woman-among them Martin Luther and Charles Spurgeon-have suffered in the deep trenches of dark emotion. But God's Word promises victory at the seemingly unreachable end of trials, and new strength forged from adversity and pain in the new light that follows the darkness of despair. You are not alone. In If I'm a Christian, Why am I Depressed? you will find not only the author's testimony but also those of others who have struggled with depression and through prayer and biblical counseling have overcome by embracing Christ's healing love. Robert B. Somerville is a professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master's College in Santa Clarita, California. He is a fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and has devoted his life to teaching and counseling from the scriptures. A well-loved pastor/teacher for thirty-five years, in this current season, "Dr. Bob" is a favorite prof to his students, who appreciate his sincere love for the Lord and the depth of experience he brings to the classroom, as well as his transparency. He and his wife, Mary, have two children and seven grandchildren and currently live in Valencia, California.

There are times in life when our hearts cry, our worlds spin, we take in what surrounds us and then we try to make sense of it; all the while my spirit speaks and I scribe poetry! It has been my prayer that Selah will be a catalyst for personal growth by inspiring its readers to reflect upon life's nuances. Selah is more than a book that holds some lady's poetry and pages for journal entries but also a teaching tool through the incorporation of Biblical Scriptures and a special place for self-reflection. Each stanza will take you on a personal journey and maybe even an emotional roller coaster that drops you off where truth always remains constant...the word of God. Please know that I appreciate you taking time to Selah with me! Your questions, comments and testimonies are very welcome. • av Evangelist Joseph O Olorunnisola
    240,-

It Is Urgent, The Day of Judgment will be a day of terrifying terror and everlasting regret for unbelievers and all those who have stubbornly rejected the passionate call to repentance. Indeed, it will be a day of electrifying shock. Through the flashes of Heaven, great preachers are seen lamenting, fire-brand Evangelists and high profile pastors adjudged by human standards as angels of God are seen weeping profusely in shackles as they are led into the lake burning with brimstone, sulfur, and fire forever. Alas, it will be too late to repent when it has become impossible to sin. The trumpet is already blown-it is over. Why would the ostensibly strong in faith fail so irredeemably? It is by the little baits of Satan-malice, an unforgiving Spirit, hatred, bitterness, greed, lying and pride. The Whispers from His Throne calls for fierce war against the flesh, complete attitude transplant over bad behavior addictions, and winged focus on Heaven. This is a last-hour clarion call. About the Author Evangelist Joseph O. Olorunnisola is a product of the London School of Accountancy. He is a fellow of several financial Institutes including the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Bankers, Chartered Institute of Administrators and Secretaries and the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He spent almost forty years with a major multinational bank before retiring in 1997 as the Head of the bank's multibillion Naira Treasury. He was divinely ordained by Heavens into the Great Commission of Soul Saving in 1987 and has remained a humble instrument of Christ's ministry within Celestial Church of Christ. Since 1997, he has served as God's servant, overseeing a local parish of the church-Voice of Grace parish in New Jersey, U.S. A renowned preacher and teacher, highly gifted in the Word, he is also the General Superintendent overseeing the affairs of the seventy-five parishes of the church within the USA Diocese. Evangelist Olorunnisola is strongly supported by his wife of over forty-two years, Olusola Olorunnisola, an amiable companion and co-worker in the vineyard of Christ. The marriage is blessed with disciples who are all also epistles of Christ.

  • av Tiffany Traynham Klappenbach
    213

Tiffany Traynham Klappenbach is a wife, mother, grandmother, writer, and speaker. Her freelance writing career began over 30 years ago, when she was shy and lacked self confidence. While in school, she enjoyed the written assignments over having to give speeches and book reports. She was surprised when she felt led to write, because she had never considered writing as her career. At about the same time she began writing, she became interested in genealogy and her life changed. She wanted to tell the world about her ancestors' accomplishments. She joined heredity societies and became involved on the local and state levels, and learned to give speeches about her ancestors. She held committee chairmanships and offices of Chaplain and President. She now enjoys telling her story and seeks out ways to do so. She teaches a group of senior adults in Sunday school and gives devotions for her church circle. In her autobiography, the author explores the effects her father's drinking had on her-especially during her teenage years. On the surface, she might appear to have led a charmed life, but problems developed in school when she had to give speeches. She lacked self-confidence and would stammer and stutter her way through the speech. Later, as an adult, she realized that her father's alcohol abuse-mainly on weekends-caused her depression and anxiety attacks. As an adult, Tiffany became involved in several historical and genealogical societies, holding various offices in many of them as she gained pride in her ancestors' accomplishments. She also got some needed psychological counseling in which the counselor advocated writing her feelings down. Tiffany desires to witness for the Lord. She hopes her book will be helpful to others who struggle with personal issues and help them to resolve these issues even as she has.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR ANCESTRY WILL CHANGE YOUR GENERATION The Firstborn Syndrome will reveal the secret behind the mysterious antediluvian syndrome that has paralyzed human race since the Creations. Enemy violently waging war against humanity and everything the LORD made first. Understanding our ancestry can momentously transform our lives and generations. "The Heart of the Father is a must read for those who want to be enlightened by the power of true paternity. This is a book with a clear and direct message that captures in a simple, but profound way, one of the most important and least understood themes of the 21st Century in the Body of Christ. Pastor Joshua Rodríguez manages to inspire us and assist us in evaluating our relationships through his own experience during a time when true paternity has been distorted by men-lovers of themselves-who have confused paternity with paternalism. Like Esther, God has enlightened the author to create this literary jewel in a time like this, arriving to the rescue of many sons and daughters that await the heart of a true father. This book should be a part of every minister's personal library." Roberto Candelario, Senior Pastor Centro Internacional de la Familia Cristiana, Orlando, Florida Author Bio: Joshua Rodríguez serves as the Senior Pastor at The Cityline Church, one of the fastest growing bilingual ministries in the Northeast of the United States. The Cityline Church is a congregation located in Jersey City, NJ and is represented by over 40 ethnic groups. After enjoying a lucrative 10-year Wall Street career in Investment Management, Pastor Joshua resigned in 1996 to enter ministry full time in order to improve the quality of life for people globally. He is a leader that has been called to empower people and bridge the gap between generations.

    207,-

Biography of the author: Pastor JP Sherman has been pastoring since 1983. He and his wife, Becky feels like God has called them to the lost and the hurting. Before launching out into the ministry, they were prophesied by several ministers for a number of years. The prophesy was always the same: " God is preparing you like a fine tuned golden arrow. When He places you in the string of the bow, and pulls back to shoot, the arrow will always hit the mark! You will have to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit because of where He is sending you. Be courageous and always know that The Lord walks with you." The Sherman's have always hidden this in their hearts. Planting two churches, reestablishing another, and founding a ministry in Guatemala Brother J.P. has seen God's hand on him always.

Teddy Pledger examines reasoning behind tithing in the Christian community. Themes such as prosperity, giving without expecting, as well as the biblical history of tithing, in brief, creates an interesting read to encourage Christian spiritual growth. This examination of stewardship and giving is especially relevant to examine in a period of economic restraint, as Pledger inspires readers to live in accordance with the Bible's laws of giving. A unique element to this book is the addition of Christian spiritual growth as Pledges expresses views of forgiveness and the nature of tithing in relationships, making for a well-balanced reading.

The tides of His love only rise higher and fuller and fresher. His love knows no limits and no boundaries. His love is eternal, when time ceases to be His love will continue. We cannot get beyond the reach of His love. The Prodigal Son in Luke chapter fifteen tried and failed. His love spans all gulfs, it overcomes all barriers, and it transcends all heights and reaches to the lowest hell. Who could fathom the depths of His love or number the benefits of His loving kindness? His love is kind, His love is patient, His love is gracious, and His love is longsuffering. His love is the purest, the highest, the holiest, and the surest. Who has ever been turned from His door? Who has ever left His table unsatisfied? Whoever drank at His fountain of eternal freshness and left thirsty? The warm penetrating rays of His love have softened the hearts of the hardest, the coldest, and the meanest. His love has captivated the heart of the lonely, the hurting, the disappointed, the disillusioned, and the discouraged. "I thank God for the mountains, I thank Him for the valleys, I thank Him for the storms He brought me through; For if I'd never had a problem. I wouldn't know that He could solve them, I'd never know what faith in God can do" (Andrae Crouch). There was a time when I hesitated to give forth this prophecy because of the great number of the doomsday prophets. However, beloved, be very careful about what you often hear. Just read what the Scriptures say. Not all that the prophets say is from God. The Word of God has something to say about the true prophets and also about the false prophets; those things have not changed. What I see in the prophetic eye is that there will be a period of time coming of unparalleled financial prosperity beyond anything that has been seen for years and then a period of unparalleled moral degradation of evil and wickedness on a scale unheard of in the generation to come. Then I see a period of unparalleled revival blessing, simultaneously at that same period. "But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel: "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit upon "all flesh" (Just think of that, can you even imagine of such a blessing) and your sons and your daughters shall prophecy, and your young men shall visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and my handmaidens (I don't know how most men will be able to handle that!) I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophecy." -Acts 16-18 KJV

This book unfolds the deepest truths on both man's origin and that of the universe. Should you not read it, you should actually take no further part in any discussion regarding Science, the Bible and evolution. That God IS love means that everything has Love as Architect: was created BY Love to BE love. The reason that we don't experience it this way is because things were not created as we see them. What we now experience was brought about by one fact that is mostly overlooked. It may come as a surprise, but this book shows how the teachings of Science and the Bible complement each other. In dealing with the same world, they simply have to correspond. The Bible is proven true because of its agreement with science, and science validated because it agrees with the Bible. Both also uncover how laughable the theory of evolution and idea of a 'Big Bang' is! You will further learn: - That everything consists of energy, and what sub-atomic particles which science calls strange, up, colour, etc., seeming to do what they like, as well as the Higgs-Boson or "God particle", tell us. - How the breath of life, breathed into man by God, relates to DNA, and the real origin of the Genetic Code. - How a correct understanding of the connection between Time and Eternity rules out the possibility of evolution, and why the age of the Earth as accepted by evolutionists, cannot be confirmed by radiometric tests or the speed of light. - How the laws of Thermo-dynamics underscore the Bible! - How man as a body-spirit is a unity and what happens to this and all of energy at death? Author Bio: Chris Dorean (pseudonym) is a Bible-believer eager to convince you that there is only one basic truth to life, as proven true by both the Bible and Science. Although not formally educated in science, he engages himself in its study. "Dorean" in Greek refers to a free gift; which is what life is. He sees this book as a contribution towards the ongoing discourse on the Bible and science.

The Lord is definitely calling us to be aware of the time. He is telling us to seek prophetic messages to help each of us know what we and others are supposed to do in this season. We must not waste any more time in offense, resentment, envy or strife. We must see clearly what hour this is in the spiritual realm! We must know what the Lord wants us to do, and then get busy doing it! "Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us." The long awaited sequel to Black Scorpion is here. Black Pearl is the story of Joan Myers - the college friend from Florida that Elizabeth Herrington ran to when her engagement to Aaron Jordan was called off. * * * * * Joan Myers and Britt Palmer have several things in common - they are both intelligent, successful business owners that happened to be financially supported by the same man. Many people in the community believe they are family - but they refuse such defining labels. Joan cut emotional ties to her father when he decided to remarry and have her shipped off to a boarding school ten years earlier. In her immature mindset, it was to make room for the new family moving into her home - a family that included an obnoxious college stud that didn't give her the time of day. Britt was in college at the time his mother uprooted her life to marry a man he had never heard of before. A man who had a beautiful daughter who not only was jailbait at the time, but into daily mischief with the local riffraff. Fortunately for Britt, Jonathan Myers turned out to be a very generous and caring man. When Jonathan Myers is told he hasn't long to live, he formulates a plan to make sure that his estranged family live in unity for the duration of one year after he dies. In his effort to ensure that his plan is followed through, he manipulates his will so specific stipulations must be met before either party can receive their part of the estate. Demands are ridiculous and personal sacrifice is required. Can Jonathan's family survive the year still committed to the plan or will they deem the cost too high and forgo their individual inheritance? Black Pearl is an enthralling tale of a father's love that goes beyond rational measures to reunite the hearts of his family - which now consists only of Joan and Britt. They must learn to trust and endure during the difficult days when accusations and assumptions are on the daily menu of circumstances, and where new twists to the details behind Jonathan's scheme lurks in the shadows ahead.

Sometimes we think people of great faith are those who have great revelations or supernatural experiences, but that's not necessarily true. Great faith can also be acquired as we allow God to speak to us through the common, every day happenings in our lives, resulting in what I've come to think of as homespun faith. When our ears are "tuned" by the Holy Spirit, we will be amazed at the many ways that God speaks to us in addition to His Word. Everything that we hear must, of course, align itself with Scripture because we also have an enemy who is eager for any opportunity to deceive. People whose intention it is to hear from God must also immerse themselves in His Word and make themselves accountable to others in the body of Christ. Lord, open our spiritual ears so that we can develop homespun faith, woven together with the strong cords of your love, as we become aware of your voice speaking to us in ways that we can hear and understand. Amen!

Christian physicians have a hard time being evangelical about their faith within their professional lives. Patients of these Christian doctors are not sure how their faith is supposed to be considered in their medical treatment plan. Both doctors and patients have abandoned any mention of Christianity within medical offices. Every Christian doctor should be bold within and outside of the medical office thus, allowing Christian patients to share their beliefs with their doctor who shares the same faith. This book provides the reasons to do so from a Biblical standpoint, as well as from the more formal, evidence-based medicine that doctors are taught to rely on when making a medical decision. This guidebook shows how to incorporate Christianity into the medical office on all levels, ranging from office staff to treatment plans. It is also meant to be a guide for Christian patients who want their doctors to include their faith in their patient/doctor relationship. This book has been written to elevate the relationship shared by the doctor and patient. Both doctor and patient, being in Christ, have a crucial role and responsibility to each other in the doctor-patient relationship. This book is meant to expand the consciousness of the Christian medical community.
