In the beginning God created Adam and placed him in the garden. God said it was not good for him to be alone so he created a suitable helpmate for him called Eve. When Adam saw her he was amazed and said for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and the two shall be one flesh. From eternity past God the Father had a dream for his Son, Jesus, that he too would not be alone, but would have a bride suitable for him. For this reason Jesus left his Father in heaven to come to earth to betroth us to himself and pay the bridal price with his own blood redeeming us on the cross. As part of this betrothal he gave us the new covenant written in Scripture and collected in a section of this book as his Bridegroom''s Love Letter to us as the church. It is an invitation to each one of us to be his radiant bride and live with him forever in wedded bliss.David P. Schaff has written three non-fiction books from his own experience and collecting nuggets from others looking into the one flesh mystery that the Apostle Paul speaks of in Ephesians 5 regarding Christ and the church. This first book romances us in our marriage to the Lamb as the bride of Christ. The second is a companion book, Wise Virgins: Preparing for the Bridegroom''s Return, giving clues into the mystery of when the wedding may be to help us prepare and be ready for him. The third book, Abraham''s Children: Spiritual Fathers and the Stars of the Sky, is the last in the trilogy following divine order with raising spiritual children that come out of this intimacy and union with him.

  • av Ph D Sheila D Williams
    166,-

She was the one who gave birth to her, became her first friend and encouraged her to try school that scary kindergarten year, which led her to a lifelong love of education. Yet where author Dr. Sheila Williams learned most from her mother was during her mother''s battle with clinical depression and later diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. Her autobiography, entitled My Mother''s Keeper, chronicles Sheila''s sometimes dysfunctional but endearing friendship with her mother, which endured a parental role reversal when her mother''s mental health issues forced Sheila to be responsible for herself at age ten. Sheila later details her memories of still seeing theembodiment of the Proverbs 31 woman within her mom, as she later became her mother''s primary caregiver. My Mother''s Keeper is a moving tribute to the power of a mother-daughter bond that defied the odds, both externally and internally, and thrived in love until the end.

A year or so passed after Jade''s eyes were opened to the gift of salvation; the personal recognition that her sins were forgiven and she would enter Heaven one day, the submission of her will to God''s will, the trust that He knows what''s best. Her heart and continence poured out an overabundance of joy, a consciousness to repent of habitual sin, and a Savior who would walk her through it. She reached out to her unsaved grandfather, pleading for him to see God''s light and forgiveness, so he too can become overcome with peace in this world and eternity. After a pleading letter was sent, a passion for writing overtook her. Miraculous encounters of God''s provision and care left God''s thumbprint all over her life. For fear of forgetting, she recorded all her encounters on paper and tucked them away. As the stories stacked up, the Lord put on her heart to compile her testimony before and after salvation. Her compassionate heart yearned to let others know the same love she knew. The book was finished and titled, Coincidental? Was it coincidences that brought blessing and joy into her life, or is that how God speaks to us?

The author grew up in a Parsonage, the son of a dedicated, evangelical, conservative minister described as ''a man who tried very hard to please God." He believed that fathers were duty bound to make sure their children did not get misled while they still living at home. Of great importance, they not get tainted by exposure to Hollywood. Since TV was not a part of our life, I never saw action on a screen until 1951. That year the award winning movie ''Quo Vadis'' was produced:Three more movies with similar themes, ''The Robe,'' ''Demetrius and the Gladiators,'' and ''The Silver Chalice.'' were produced in 1953 and 1954. My father thought these might benefit his son.I was privileged to see them several times. And, they made a great impact on me. The scenes of Christians being martyred in the arena were of special interest. I asked myself, would I be able to stand without fear? Could I face death in a positive and victorious way? One thing I was very sure about. If you could face death, either by yourself or with loved ones, positive and singing while you died, there was something very real that sustained you. And, I knew it was something far deeper than the explanation of a ''spell.''Through my years of ordained ministry and a lifetime of serving the church, I have witnessed people living out hard experiences. I have witnessed people who were caught in a reality that you could not miss. But there was obviously a greater reality carrying them over the reality we were witnessing. This book is the stories of some of those people I met along the way. People who accepted, understood, and lived in victory because they trusted Scriptures of promise. They lived a ''Greater Reality.''Also included is how to find it.

  • - Your Pathway to Freedom
    av Kathryn W Chamberlin
    221

Each of us has had times when we felt mortified, experiencing shame about who we are. For some, a sense of shame is chronic. Others know this experience as an occasional acute attack of shame leaving them devastated. Few Christian writers have delved into this area of unspeakable need. For Kathryn Chamberlin, it has been a life calling to bring healing to shame sufferers, through counseling, teaching, seminars-and now, this book. It is a deeply generous outpouring of Katie''s heart and insights into shame, and into the steps toward healing-toward gaining the supreme sense of God-given worth. I highly recommend this marvelous gift from Katie. It is your pathway to freedom. M. Blaine Smith, Presbyterian pastor, Director of Nehemiah Ministries for 30 years, author of numerous Christian books, including Knowing God''s Will and The Yes Anxiety: Taming the Fear of Commitment.; holds a BS degree from Georgetown University, an M. • - Volume III
    av Harold W Moore
    221

"This merging of world and church is so extensive today that much, if not most, of the so-called Christian body is composed of "nominal Christians": merely dabblers in the faith, rather than genuine, uncompromising, committed adherents to Jesus and His truths." Does this statement offend you because it sounds extreme? In Christian Musings: Volume III Bill Moore shows us that what may appear extreme at first glance really is just the natural result of what God has done for us. He spared no expense, left no risk untaken, no action unfulfilled for us. Since He provides salvation in its totality, we are to receive it in its totality.Through the principles and parables of the New Testament, as well as a few insights into a couple of protagonists in the Old Testament, Bill Moore shows how and why the result of Jesus coming on the scene means the scene is completely changed. Journeying through the contrast of earthly life and heavenly reality, the truth of what Christianity really should be is made very clear. Jesus so revolutionized our existence with salvation that He was able to undo death itself, thus changing the entire story by giving it an alternate ending.

  • - Volume II
    av Harold W Moore
    240,-

What good does it do to spend time meditating on God? When we dwell on His person, we enter into His presence and being there bring eternal life. How can a finite mind truly know a God who is infinite? To bridge this gap and solve this issue, God took steps that only He could take to bring us places only He can go. Our human limitations do not change the fact that He can do anything. In the second volume of Christian Musings, author Bill Moore invites you once again to stop, sit down and make the time to truly focus on the Lord. The focus this time around is on Christ''s role as the mediator, why that role exists in the way that it does and what it means to be on the receiving end of this work. Through characters and stories from the Bible, Moore leads you down a path that ends with seeing how mediation leads to salvation. Paul''s word in Philippians 2:12 shows us that although we cannot work for our salvation, we must work it out. The salvation of each individual is not up to anyone but the individual. Bill Moore shows you the choices that lead away from God and those that lead to Him-ones you can recognize in your own actions or determine to develop in your daily life.

She should have been focused on playing with dolls, spending time with friends and relishing hugs from her caring family around her. Yet five-year-old Sharyn experienced instead the sadness, anxiety and silent suffering that comes from being a young victim of sexual abuse and incest at the hands of an uncle. WhatΓÇÖs more, she also endured harsh beatings from her callous mother and had to regularly fight off the carnal advances of her motherΓÇÖs boyfriend. The painful scars left by the abuse would turn anyone from the loving grace of Jesus, but author Sharyn Anderson-Campbell chose instead to accept the healing that could only come from the Savior. In The Cry No One Heard, Sharyn reflects on the difficult growing years of her life where fear of rejection was paramount and her cry for help fell on deaf ears, especially within her family. Her relationship with God was even more strained, which is very apparent in a series of journal entries she includes in the book that contain the demonic oppression she endured during this fragile time. With time though, Sharyn deepened her relationship and dependence on God, breaking free from the emotional chains of her abuse and finding forgiveness in her heart for her abusers. She provides prayer examples for forgiving abuse from others and for accepting the plan of salvation in oneΓÇÖs life. Her hope is that abuse can be prevented for future generations of children, through people who will answer the innocenceΓÇÖs cry for help and do all they can to keep more children from becoming victims of abuse. It does no good to listen for the cry, hear the cry, and do nothing about the cry. We must act and act immediately to save the children, and keep them from becoming offenders.

Daily life brings about its own challenges. However, what happens when those challenges grow deeper and the slope of those challenges steeper?Too often the world around us grows dark in the midst of difficult challenges. Often we lose focus, our identity, and the purpose of living. In When . . . Hope Reigns the author artistically reaches into the depth of sorrow and brings perspective through a combination of scriptural illustration, personal testimony, and commentary while keeping the parables of Luke 15 in context. The parable of the lost coin is used as an anchor to bundle many intriguing and complex ideas and storylines together into a tight package readers will easily identify with. The author seeks to entice the appetite of readers by allowing them to fill in their own story into the title''s ellipsis to discover the message God is writing in their own life. Shawna Bedal desires the Holy Spirit to use this work to empower the faith among her readers to discover joy in worshipping God in the midst of heartache-to know When . . . Hope Reigns!Shawna Bedal lives in Chandler, Arizona with her family of seven. Life is nowhere near perfect, but joy and happiness swell the walls of their home. However, it didn''t always look that way. To escape, Shawna found solace in reading. In the hours of night, while her world slept, she discovered an intimacy with God through journaling. "My first writings were more like pleas from my heartache, which evolved into prayers, poems, and thoughts from the books I read by day. The written word became my passion as God infiltrated my life. The hunger and thirst for God could not be extinguished, but only fed."

This book illustrates Jesus and His disciples, including me using the power to invoke the living word-- and explores how this delegated power is available to believers. In POWER TO INVOKE THE LIVING WORD, You are a spirit like God. God has delegated his power and authority to us that we triumph over the enemy to bring about healing, deliverance, provision, and help.God said and had what He said throughout the Old and New Testament. He created all things in heaven, and earth below by invoking the word which was living, active, or alive. God delegated His power and authority to His disciples, to us, the believers in Jesus Christ. Question: "What are you going to do with that power?" Can God trust you with the power, to carry out His will and His plan? All things were put under Jesus'' feet and are in subjection to Him (Hebrews 2:8; I Corinthians 15:25, 27).God has opened many doors for Loretta E. Hudson, an ordained associate minister at New Wynn Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Bethel, North Carolina. She is exercising her gifts as a preacher and teacher of the gospel with a prophetic influence at every given opportunity. Her current assignments are to educate and encourage others through teachings and writings and to help the disadvantaged through whatever means the Holy Spirit directs. We are not just people meandering through life without purpose or direction; we, the Royal Priesthood, are divinely designed to rule and reign with our Majestic King Jesus in God''s glorious kingdom according to His grace-filled plan. However, life has led several Christians down a path of unbelief, self-righteousness, licentiousness, and complacency with the status quo, which has been in a state of rapid decline in recent years. What Dr. Donna Webber believes today''s Christians need is a "wake-up call" of faith, being jolted out of the slumber of lukewarmness, and being revived to harvest souls for the increase of God''s kingdom and glory. Her new book, Royal Design, focuses on necessary steps needed to develop and regain a strong spiritual stance, with faith and confidence in the Heavenly Father. We all can aspire to grow, mature and be established in our spiritual stance of holiness and sanctification, day by day, until Jesus Christ returns for us. This is what growing from faith to faith, strength to strength and glory to glory is all about. It''s by our own choice, consistency and discipline which will facilitate our spiritual growth and maturity in God. Composed in ten listed chapters, Donna discusses actions Christians can prayerfully implement to experience victorious, joyous living in our walk of faith. Being Holy Spirit led, choosing to forgive others for wrongdoings, and building our faith, are just a few of the valuable Spirit-led recommendations Donna provides in her book. Donna also invites readers to peruse memorable encounters from God that she and her family experienced at a crossroad of major life changes, with a degree of uncertainty as to how to proceed. Those unforgettable events coupled with her recommendations, will prompt Christians to answer the call, and wake up to this generation''s need for Jesus, NOW!

God can. God will. God does. Collette Davis, affectionately known as Dawn, knew the reality of God in her life. A woman of faith, she lived life in continual praise to her Lord, despite her circumstances. She had a passion for prayer and prayed earnestly for others. As she battled breast cancer, Dawn worked fervently and prayerfully each day to write and record Devotions by Dawn. Her book, Devotions by Dawn, is a compilation of her daily devotionals designed for audio. Her thoughts and insights about God''s work in our daily lives will truly motivate you. In producing a daily devotion available for itunes, Youtube, mp3 players, etc., Dawn wanted to usher her listeners into the world of worship while going about their daily routines. Although all of the audio recordings were not complete when she died as a result of metastatic breast cancer, all of the transcripts were written and prepared for recording. Before Dawn passed she requested to her family and they promised her, that Devotions by Dawn would be published. The original recordings in the voice of Dawn, can be found on www.devotionsbydawn.comSince it was originally intended for audio, each reading may take longer than a day to finish. That''s fine. Take your time, read each day, and reflect on God''s love. Dawn woke up each morning and said, ''I''m Alive, thank you Lord for another day." Her book will inspire you to do the same. She spent personal time with her heavenly Father every day, and you''ll be challenged to as well. We pray by doing so, your relationship with Christ will grow. As you read each day''s devotional, your spirit will come alive to God''s ways and His work.

God''s Holy WordAll Honor and Praises belongs to God the one whomade the Heavens and the Earth. He that keepeth thee will neither slumber nor sleep, the Lord God is thy keeper, The Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we shall fear no evil: for thou art with us; thy rod and thy staff they comfort us. I will lift-up my eyes unto the hills from whence commeth my strength. My strength cometh from you O Lord, Hear our cry, O God and attend unto our needs, O'' prepare mercy and truth that we may perform our daily vows. When our hearts are overwhelmed with the troubles of today''s materialistic society, lead us to the path of Righteousness; for your name sake, for you alone God has been a shelter for us, and a strong tower from our enemies. Lead us to that rock that is higher than us for you alone God is our comfort and our strength; we shall abide before You O God, O'' prepare mercy and truth which may preserve us in our coming days; for You are our rock and salvation, and our defense in time of trouble. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the ways of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but our delight is the law of the Lord, and in this law do we meditate day and night, and we shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters, that bringeth forth our fruits in our due season, our health shall not wither; and whatsoever our hands do we shall prosper.
