This book is written for both Muslims and Christians. For the Muslim reader, it will:Challenge your belief that the Bible has been changed or corrupted and therefore it has been replaced by the Quran.Challenge your belief that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. It will help you to understand that Allah, the God of Islam is not Yahweh (the triune God worshipped by the Christians) and vice versa.Present another Christ (The true Christ who can save you from your sins) to you.For the Christian readerThis book will give you insight into the mind and heart of the Muslim. The subject of Christianity/Islam is a broad subject, but this book narrows it down, dealing with the essential differences between the two religions. It can be a good tool for evangelism to Muslims and can also be a reference book on your shelf. It will also inspire or motivate you to share your faith with Muslims. I pray that the anointing on the author and the passion in his heart on the subject will rob off on you and that you will take the message farther afield than the author.Author Bio:For over twenty-five years the author, Rev. William Lamptey, has shared the gospel tirelessly with Muslims in three continents. For more than ten years he preached almost every Sunday at Speaker''s Corner, London, to Muslims from all over the world. Because of his constantly sharing his faith directly with Muslims, he has gained an in-depth knowledge and understanding on the subject. He has an open letter from one of the leading Redeemed ministers in London to take to Nigeria to teach on the subject. Long before 9/11, he was a lone voice warning many pastors in London about the onslaught of Islam against the church.

Our family did not go to church, nor did I know anything about Christianity while growing up in San Diego, California. I became active in a variety of sports such as basketball, surfing, bowling, billiards, ping pong and Tiddlywinks. I worked a variety of jobs while attending San Diego State University. I graduated in 1976 and also acquired a teaching credential. In the midst of all this Jesus Christ entered the drama of my life. It wasn''t long before the drama became a rescue story. Jesus saved me from myself. I was my own worst enemy and didn''t even know it. Thank you, Jesus. The last place I thought I would ever step foot in was a church. However, now that Jesus was guiding my steps, his church was where I had to be. I got involved teaching Sunday school with the sixth graders and I also helped with the church''s youth group. The Lord straightened out my life, put me on his blessed path and led me to the love of my life. Her name is Brenda. She became my wife that same year. An amazing thing happened: the church asked me to be their youth pastor. Those years of leading young people in the Lord was a blessing. The blessing kept growing leading us to plant a church where we still are today. We raised two children in that setting who are now adults living blessed lives in the Lord. I was then blessed to earn a Masters of Divinity Degree from Bethel Seminary in San Diego graduating in the year 2,000. The Lord led me to start Christian Life Tools as a way to extend his salvation and blessing to others. May God''s salvation and blessing be on all who pick up this book.

  • av Pastor David Archibald
    166,-

The Lord brought the idea for this book to author David Archibald's mind years ago while he was the pastor of a small church in Antigua. He had prepared a sermon titled, "The Prayer of Faith" and though he preached it, he didn't quite understood what it all entailed. Over the years, through many challenges within his own life, the Lord revealed to him through His word what it all meant. God wants us to develop the habit of prayer, that it might become our lifestyle and not just a once-in-a-while thing. These are days of great trials and difficulties for many people. These difficulties many times entail sickness that may be terminal in nature. Many wonder if the power is in their hands to recover, or if indeed they can do anything to help the situation. Some realize that the control is out of their hands. They feel a longing to tap into some higher power so that they may recover. However, to those who place their faith in God, is there a certain type of prayer that you can pray that brings healing of the body and mind that is guaranteed to work every time? In this book, questions and answers surrounding James 5:15 will be explored. Author David Archibald prays that this book will help you gain a better understanding of what it really means to pray the prayer of faith and what kind of results this kind of prayer can bring to you. "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." -James 5:15

February 2nd 1968, the blast of the heat was as if all Hell was before us, as they rushed us off the plane into this war zone far from our home. The late night sky was lit up by flares, as gunships (helicopters) filled the night with red tracers from the miniguns firing in all directions. As they rushed us down the steps of the plane, other troops who did their tour of duty we're running to the steps of the plane, trying to finally escape this madness. Their faces like stone portraits, was a harsh warning of what we were now entering. One young man who I could tell had seen much horror, looked me square in the eyes, and said: "If you want to stay alive, forget everything you ever learned." Those words were the first to greet me in Vietnam, and still are etched in my memory today.

In 2002, in the depth of his despair, he met some men who introduced him to the Lord. What followed is recorded for all to read in the pages of Recovery Road. "A Woman of Excellence" is an excellent resource for women to help them be all they can be for God. This book provides the necessary tools to empower women to be leaders and accomplish God's purpose in their life. While it gives a wealth of scriptures, it also has an excellent practical bent to assist in everyday life. However, it does not do so at the expense of compromising Bible teaching on the altar of radical feminism. At a time when people are confused as to what God defines as a godly woman, "A Woman of Excellence" is a wonderful breath of fresh air to cut through much of the confusion that is so prevalent in Christian circles today.

"MEET ME AT THE HOUSE," was truly a labor of love, and I thank all of my enduring friends, the Editor, as well as family members, that had significant roles as each one, in his/her own unique way, guided, counseled, and prayed for me in the preparation of the manuscript.MEET ME AT THE HOUSE takes a global view of mankind''s lifestyle up to the present age. People have been influenced by culture, geography, government, religious beliefs, ideologies, diaspora, and traducianism. Coupled with man''s "free moral agency," resulting from Adam and Eve''s first sin in the Garden of Eden, he chooses to sin against God.He (mankind) makes life more difficult for himself because he succumbs to his sin nature. God provided a remedy for sin. Mankind can experience a second birth (spiritual) provided by the propitiation of Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary. Jesus paid off the mortgage for all whom ask Him."Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him," But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10. NKJV). The author claims verse 10 above for the basis of understanding and explanation of materials in this manuscript.

On November 22, 1969, I had a dynamic spiritual experience while being born again. My eyes were open and standing before me in all of his glory was the living, resurrected Jesus. As he introduced himself, the darkness that had me bound suddenly fled away in his brightness. Jesus spoke to me, saying that he had come to set me free and that it was time for me to come into the prophetic destiny for which I had been born. That night I received the directive to take the word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit to the nations of the earth, introducing them to a life in Christ where the supernatural would become natural. This ministry began on the day of my first encounter with God and has continued through this life for 46 years. First, the Holy Spirit sent me into the streets and from the streets to the nations and their leaders. In the churches and city crusades the miracle power of GodΓÇÖs word was confirmed through signs and wonders, testifying that Jesus Christ is alive and present as Lord, and he is here to reveal himself as our savior, deliverer, and the one who speaks. My entire prophetic testimony has been a continued revelation of the book of Acts and will be shared in a later book.
