Summary What would cause Jesus Christ and the Apostles, at the inauguration of the New Testament, to announce how it would come to an end? It seems highly unlikely that a man holding a new born baby in his arms for the very first time would begin to obsess about the child''s demise. Is there any logic in a bride and groom finishing their vows and immediately begin thinking of how their marriage would end? What sense is there of a businessman advertising the grand opening of his venture and included in the brochure was a description of how it would eventually fail? The truth is the man holding the baby looks forward to the growth and development of the child, the bride and groom look forward to building a life together and a businessman charts a course of sustainability. So why at the commencement of the New Testament would Jesus and the Apostles broadcast how it would come to a close? They wouldn''t.This book will answer the question of why they wouldn''t. Dedication To all the wonderful folks of New Life Church who believed in me, stood by me and supported me through our transition from the hijacked to the authentic version of Jesus'' revelation.Acknowledgements I want to start with my heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Joan Howard the wife of Reverend Glenn Howard for her efforts to polish up my pathetic attempt at writing this book. Music has existed before the dawn of time. Its source flows from the essence of God Himself and was created for the purpose of creating a melodious conduit from which could flow the highest form of praise and worship through created beings towards the creator Himself. Lucifer who was created as an angelic being of praise and adoration to God, was the most decorated of all His creation, was a veritable angelic musical instrument. When God created man He imparted to him His authority to have dominion over the earth, and music was a part of that impartation. Man fell however, and gave his authority and thus the purpose and power of music back over to Satan (Formerly Lucifer), who has been perverting the purpose of music here on earth ever since. As such, down through the years many musicians, even in ministry, are entrapped by this exact same attitude of self-pride in the name of popularity, professionalism and or musicianship so that the ideals and agenda of the flesh, the world and the enemy have eventually crept into Christian music and ministry. This accounts for the wide spread division and destruction among so many Christian bands today, and why so many people are so easily enthralled by sensuous music or a fleshly expression of it. The result is that, rather than being a ministry to others, music has often become a means of self-pleasure and promotion. In other words a curse-"noise" that God refuses to hear!"Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps". Amos 5:23God is urgently calling Christian music leaders and musicians today to take back what the enemy has been allowed to continue to steal, kill and destroy through music for so long, by stepping up and stepping out in the power of His anointing through the most powerful spiritual medium created... the anointed message of the gospel through the lyrics and melody of music.

@2022 copyright The pertinent quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr-the epigraph of Part One-may best encapsulate the theme: "Peace is not just the absence of tension it is the presence of justice..." The theme sets the stage for the autobiography: Esther Kisaghu, a woman born and raised in an impoverished village in Kenya, later finds success in education through sheer determination. Her life tragically changed when her husband, who had sworn to protect her, turned into her tormentor and abused her for years. She eventually found refuge in the United States where she had returned to study at Boston University. In this riveting autobiography, set in both the United States and Kenya, the author engages the reader in an eloquent and massively detailed testimony, clearly written by an experienced craftsperson. In addition, she presents facts and statistics about gender-related violence in Kenya.Autobiography notwithstanding, the narrative is constructed for maximum impact. Esther presents an entire ordinary world before her marriage, allowing readers to experience the roller coaster of joy and doubt and happiness and uncertainty and, eventually, catastrophe, fear and heartbreak. Creating such an emotionally involved reader is the single most important action a narrative must take, and the single most difficult job of a writer. She does this well. This stirring book builds through personal experience to a ringing call to action, one that the church-and Kenya, and indeed, every nation-ignores to its everlasting sorrow. -Xulon Press Editorial Just like the biblical Esther, she believes that God has chosen her to be the advocate for her people, abused women and children, to bring safety and freedom for all. It takes courage to be compassionate, and I had made the choice to give even to those who showed me no compassion. I had reached out and given another fellow human being a chance to begin searching for a violence-free life. -Author Esther Kisaghu

I share my very fondest memories of a relationship that developed and grew very strong between a disabled client and me, as her caregiver. I tell how my client had become disabled due to a surgical procedure that had to be performed based upon a life - death situation. In my story, I share how my client and I were able to communicate without words. I tell of the many times I spent with her sharing biblical scriptures that I had been introduced to through my Bible Study class at my church. I also tell about the numerous different ways I tried to recreate and stimulate her memory through different tactics. I describe my feelings of excitement when I first began to notice that she was beginning to interact with her environment. I tell about these slight responses from her and how I felt as those responses began to increase. I share the joy I experience in the weekly care of this lovely woman with the luscious, green, icy but warm, loving, green eyes. Lastly, I share the pain and agony I experienced on the day I watched her slip away. Ann Artis

This collection of devotions from father to son draws upon the rich experiences of men who hunt, fish, love the outdoors, and all kinds of sports. It illustrates spiritual lessons for growing into the kind of men who follow Christ with zeal and who love their families with devotion. Author Gary Miller draws upon his life-long passion for sports and the outdoors, and his experiences as a pastor, columnist, and speaker to build fifty-two devotions that bring together Bible passages, these outdoor passions, and Christian wisdom. The results are devotions that fathers can share with their sons as they deepen their faith, grow into manhood, and develop their enthusiasm for all things outdoors. Devotions begin with passages from the Scriptures and then speak in the voice of a father passing on Christian insight to his son by pointing out the spiritual truths found in sports and creation. Finally, each devotion concludes with a prayer from the father to God, concerning his son. Gary Miller ministers to outdoorsmen as president of Outdoor Truths Ministries. He writes a column called Outdoor Truths for various media publications and speaks to outdoorsmen and diverse men's groups about the God of creation and His invitation to life's greatest adventure. Ask yourself, what is your motivation for teaching? Why do you think the profession is for you? What do you have to offer young people, and how would you impact their lives? Did you have a teacher who impacted your life? What do you want your legacy to be? Will that legacy be people-centered, or will it be about material gain and the accumulation of things? These questions are crucial and should be addressed if your heart is going to be in your teaching. If your motivation is three months off in the summer, the profession is not for you. Those three months include preparation for the upcoming year and time to study and learn new teaching methods and/or strategies. If you think it will be easy or fun spending time with young people seven hours a day, the profession is not for you. Young people are challenging and require a great deal of patience. If you are not prepared to challenge and push young people to realize their fullest potential, this is not your profession. And if your patience with young people easily runs thin, this profession is not for you. They are just that-young people!

About 10 years ago I wrote a book called Shame's Anatomy that focused on the breakup of the African American family. The book emphasized the effects of sin, chiefly, fornication on the black family. It also showed the correlation between fatherlessness and poverty and crime. The first book drew attention to 2 main characters: The Queen and the Thug. They are known by 2 specific names, Semiramis (Jezebel) and Nimrod. The former is the prototype of the immoral queen mother who raises the bad boy or hoodlum. The latter is your stereotypical, neighborhood thug. The two are inseparable. Where ever you find high concentrations of crime you will find an overwhelming number of single parents or fatherless children. The Assignment focuses on the prophecy found in Malachi chapter 4. There, the Lord promises to send Elijah the prophet to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest He come and smite the Earth with a curse. It has been 10 years since the publication of Shame's Anatomy, and things have gotten dramatically worse. Statistically speaking, black people represent roughly 13 percent of the American population. Yet, black people are responsible for more than 55% of homicides. Also, the black illegitimacy rate was about 24% in 1964. Today it is higher than 75% in most cities. The best way to describe Black America is Ichabod generation - the glory of the Lord has departed from us.1 Samuel 4 KJV If the glory is to return it will be according to God's Promises. The Mantle of Honor is for those who believe and participate in the restoration. This is the Assignment of the last generation. Sin has caused us to lose our glory and our honor and our women have lost their beauty. There is only one solution to what ails us: 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their Wicked Ways; then will I hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.

In The Secret to Finishing Well, Agitu Wodajo spotlights the differences in leadership between her native country, Ethiopia and the United States of America. Having lived in two very different continents and traveled the world, her rich and varied experiences lend unique insight into national policy and leadership styles that shape governmental decision making. In this book, Agitu encapsulates what Christianity means in the overarching timeline of human history as it relates to our rights and responsibilities. This book is an interesting mix of different types of narratives - spiritual tenets, the logic of human rights, the inspiration of serving others, global events and the current state of our society. This mix comes together very well and sets the book apart because it's not easily boxed into one category of non-fiction. The history that the author has chosen to include is relevant, succinct and interesting for any reader who really isn't a fan of history or doesn't easily see how it relates to today. By crediting God with inventing leadership, the author brings her readers right to the root. She shows readers the core of leadership and gives a solid starting point for anyone who chooses to be an agent of change. "I liked the way Agitu framed her book--the idea of "finishing well." I find that a very helpful concept about leadership. Her summary chart and discussion comparing the what is common and different between the three regimes of Ethiopia was a great way to present the importance of history in shaping the present. Without doing that any evaluation of leadership is superficial." Thomas O'Conner, Professor, Metropolitan State University "I enjoyed the concept and ideas Agitu presented. I believe this book will be educational for the young generation, and hope our current and future leaders will benefit from the concepts and ideas presented here." Dr.Tesfaye Biftu, Professor, Jefferson University, Merck and Co Agitu Wodajo has more than thirty-five years of experience in health care, community development, organizational management, and policy advocacy and design in both Ethiopia and the United States. She has traveled extensively and witnessed firsthand the effects of leadership style on the nations they serve and the people they represent. Her extensive training and participation in international workshops and conferences have molded her perspectives on gender, refugees and internally displaced people, conflict management, peacekeeping, and economic development. Born and raised in Ethiopia, she obtained diplomas in community nursing and pediatric nurse-practitioner before moving to the Unites States, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and a Master's degree in Public Affairs as well as numerous awards and recognitions. The task of church planting requires the wisdom of a practitioner and the logic of a strategist. With his years of experience planting churches, and his extensive research on the subject, the author displays these two requisites on every page of his fruitful study. "As a missionary and missiologist," writes J. Ronald Blue of Dallas Theological Seminary, "the author gives a new perspective to church planting that extends beyond the immediate and sometimes shallow goal of a newly installed fellowship of believers. This book will be an invaluable aid to church planters and missionaries. This is a church planting guide that puts it all together." The author emphasizes that the primary goal of missions constitutes planting churches, which in turn are able to reproduce themselves. By using the proven management method Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), the author outlines each step needed to accomplish that goal. Over sixty charts illustrate his principles and directives. Samuel D. Faircloth served as a U.S. Army Chaplain in Italy, WWII and as a missionary teacher and church planter in Portugal for thirty-six years, and as academic dean and professor of missions and church history in the Netherlands for six years, continuing as adjunct professor until 2010.
