A son honors his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honor? (Malachi 1:6). Surprisingly many people are making the same Mistake Cain committed without knowing. Recent tragedies in the news today have painted law enforcement officers as anything but protectors of the people. Yet God ordained each person to have a specific role on earth, and the same is true for those who see law enforcement as their calling of duty. In the new book, What Does God Think of Today's Law Enforcement Officer, author Randy Emon discusses the topic of God and law enforcement through a question-and-answer explanation. Common areas of interest, such as the behavior of law enforcement, using lethal force and the salvation of law enforcement are answered from God's viewpoint, as stated in the Bible. Randy compares the role origins of Roman soldiers to law enforcement today, showing that these men and women are anointed as God's peacekeepers and servants of the law. The Bible calls all to serve, which has been, and will forever be, the purpose for law enforcement.

How to Live a Supernatural life It is futile for man to live by reasoning or thinking. (Genesis 3:1-4). Instead, man is created to lean on God's word by faith. If we must reason out every thought, then we are exposed to having hard time with faith, because reasoning is not faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6 AMP.) With God's wisdom, His spirit living inside us teaches us how to operate and represent Him in the mystery of chaos. We have to open our mouths speaking the right words and not just in defense-controlling mode everywhere we go. We tend to look at people in terms of whether they can help satisfy or interfere with our intentions or goals. We need to be talking to our minds instead of listening to them. We've got to be able to live without compromise; although definitely not an easy thing to do, that's why we have the best Helper. Experience is the only way to convince yourself, so I tried it and found it to be true and would like to share it with you.
40 Days and 40 Nights is an inspiring collection of Christian-based poetry, bringing glory to God's love and mercy. My Name is Merle D. Grenz. I was born in North Dakota, 1948. I was raised in a Baptist church. I stayed in the church for the most part all my life, but for a long time was not happy in it. What I got from the church was guilt, shame, condemnation and chains. The reason for this for me was, "The Rules." So many "Do Not's" and the impossible ideal coupled with the message conveyed of my sin is ok because your sin is worse so this means I'm ok. One day I read Galatians 5:1 in the New International Version, and my eyes were opened to the new world of "Freedom in Christ." Being a slow learner it took a few years for this concept to sink in but it eventually did. Knowing something and doing something about it are completely different concepts. So I have begun the journey of speaking up about my convictions. I am not a theologian, preacher, or any other cleric. I am simply an old guy with a word. I understand many will not listen unless you place a title after your name, but it's alright because this story of mine is for those who understand some understanding comes from living a long time, not simply from books. Be clear, I am not a perfect sinless person. I am a new creation in Christ, but the struggle with the flesh goes on. My story is therefore a story of freedom. It all ways been about slavery and freedom. God gave us freedom in the Garden of Eden, we chose slavery. He set His people free from Egypt. His people wanted to return to slavery and so goes the course of history for mankind. When Christ died, the Veil ripped, freedom came, stay free.

Burnett Family Joshua 24:15 But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
"Why does God allow suffering?" It's a common question that people regularly ask in times of difficult and sorrow. Author Jonathan Houston frequently pondered this question as he looked over his life's course: raised by an abusive mother, sexually abused by older boys, and imprisoned in a web of witchcraft. However, his personal testimony also reflects an awareness of God in the pain, a loving God who wanted Jonathan's story to give hope to others in similar circumstances. His autobiography, Here I Am, recounts Jonathan's visitations with Jesus as a child, who revealed to him that heartache and sadness were coming soon. As Jonathan dealt with each disheartening event, he struggled with God and wanted to know what His plan was through this. What Jonathan learned was that through his story, lessons were produced on forgiving the past, significance of the Holy Trinity and healing through a relationship with Jesus
This book surrounds the popular and never-ending controversy between creationists and evolutionists. Science is only used to describe what God has done. What is science? If nothing existed, there would be no science. God created all that exists, so if something doesn't exist, it's because God did not create it. The biggest problem that mankind has is trying to figure out God. What is heaven? Where is heaven? What is the firmament? Is the canopy or "green house effect" mentioned in the Bible? Is there more than one heaven? When God created the earth, what was created? What is the darkness? What controls the tides? What controls the weather? What happens after a Christian dies physically? What happens to the non-Christian when they die physically?
The Prodigal King is a modern-day spin on the Bible story of the Prodigal Son. The Prodigal King is a fictional book brought up to modern times with references to biblical text throughout. It the author's intention to tell an entertaining story, but also tell a story that contains the truths of God and to get His message out to feed both the soul and the spirit.
Horton Dempsey Copeland and Evelyn Tapper were married on December 7, 1932 in Elkton, Maryland. They purchased a 125 acre farm in Norfolk County, Virginia in October 1943. There was a two story house with four bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, no indoor plumbing. They had two daughters and three sons, Marie, James, Helen, John and Horton Jr. Later a daughter, Frances was born in 1944, a son, Robert in 1945 and a son, Kenneth in 1948. Horton, Sr., a carpenter for the government, provided financial support, operated the farm and provided leadership for the family, died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of fifty on July 23, 1952. Their mother, thirty eight year old home maker, with eight children between the ages of three and eighteen, had to determine how her family would persevere and get along without their dad. Her oldest son, James was sixteen and entering the twelfth grade at Deep Creek High School. With his leadership and responsibility for the farm, he quickly matured far beyond his age of sixteen. This was the beginning of a new chapter in the life of their family with the challenges, and difficulties that lay ahead. They learned to work, play, and pray together as a family and witnessed first-hand how God answers prayer. Sometimes tragedy brings out the best in families. It did in their family. They applied themselves to support their mom, developed an unconditional love for each other and a bond that can never be broken. Their story "A Firm Hand & A Tender Heart" is a journey of Love of Family, Faith, Redemption, Devotion, Miracles and Memories as experienced by the Copeland's of Deep Creek.

Pocket Pearls is a book about a great love affair; the love of a Faithful Father for His children. I highly recommend that Pocket Pearls be read by anyone who desires to have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Reverend Wright so eloquently shares from her heart how the Pearls that the Holy Spirit impressed upon her late husband ministered to her after his death. While reading the list of Pearls and her husband's accompanying notes on a writing tablet a couple of years after his death, the Holy Spirit allowed her to better appreciate the life that her husband lived in his short 36 years. The same Holy Spirit then used those twelve Pearls to help her better understand how He was molding and shaping her life to be one that is well-pleasing to Him. As you read each Pearl, I am convinced that you too will desire to have a closer, intimate relationship with the Pearl of Great Price, Jesus the Christ, and that each Pearl will make you wiser and strive to live a daily life that is pleasing to the Lord. "Mankind has always been in need of a leader especially in times of war. That leadership has almost always come in the form of one man or one woman. Leadership by committee usually bows to one individual leader given enough time. And one individual leader can promote good or evil agendas as history records." Charles Fredrikson pens an enlightening look at leadership through the lenses of historical leaders. This historical piece examines the nature of leadership, as Charles Fredrikson unveils in-depth coverage and historical data on world leaders. His straightforward writing style reveals a passion for historical figures; his findings reveal little-known details of prominent historical figures. Jesus and the Art of War is a must read for those who have a passion for historical knowledge, and you'll be impressed by Fredrikson's ability to compound dates and names into a fascinating read with much attention to valuing history. Additionally, the nature of God is evaluated as the supreme leader, and overall valued traits of leaders are incorporated.

I can think of no higher aspiration for the Christian than to gain a thorough knowledge of truth FOR HIMSELF. In fact, this will be increasingly critical as we approach the time for Jesus Christ to return and take His people home. Which martyr has ever died for the beliefs of another? Which persecuted ever suffered for the beliefs of others? The answer to both questions is "not even one." Each person MUST know what he or she believes in order to be able to MAKE A STAND for truth. Jo Ann's book helps every critical thinking Christian student do JUST THAT! Thank you Jo Ann! May none of the "very elect" be deceived because they have not thoroughly and critically examined Bible truths, especially the truths of Salvation and Apocalyptic Prophecy! Bill Kerr South Carolina Why should we pursue knowledge? There are several benefits to learning more of a subject, mostly to bring awareness on the importance of the subject matter to our lives. The same depth of knowledge is needed for comprehending what God's intentions are for the last days of Earth, the Great Tribulation and whether or not the Rapture is part of His plan. Current events show that prophecies expressed in the Bible are being fulfilled, marking how close we are getting to the return of Jesus. Yet, to determine what God reveals in Scripture about biblical prophecy, especially Apocalyptic Prophecy, we may have more questions than answers. Author Jo Ann Hall knows this all too well, having spent the last twenty years studying and prayerfully pondering what God says about the Rapture and End-Times. A solution came forth from her effort, in the form of this new book, Earth's Final Hours: Exposing the Rapture Myth. Comprised of twenty-seven Bible study guides and lessons, the book will enable readers to grasp biblical truths that define prophetic projections for the last days of Earth. Jo Ann begins the study with a commentary on God's formation of His temple on Earth which represents His Holy temple in Heaven; thus, linking events in Heaven with events on Earth. This initial chapter opens the Bible lessons that seek to answer questions about Salvation, Jesus' ministry and significant truths revealed in the books of Daniel and Revelation. Earth's Final Hours is a book to prepare us to recognize the signs of Jesus' return and allow ourselves to be used by Jesus to help others find Him before it is too late.

In the follow-up to Talkin' about Christ - Over the Back Fence, author, dedicated pastor and evangelist Dr. David F. Felsburg returns to the subject of ministerial attrition of evangelists and how it relates to the debate over the doctrine of redemption in his new book, How God Gets You Back. Whether you are already a believer or looking to lead another person toward Christ, How God Gets You Back provides readers with the authority, evidence and path to achieve everlasting life with God. He writes of his own introduction to Christ: How on Earth can a person once dedicated to atheism and full denial of any god at all present a book written on how to lead other people to Jesus Christ? ... I began questioning the concept of a loving God as a teenager. This is probably about the same time most young people begin asking whether the faith of their parents is sufficient for personal application. There is seldom enough life lived to answer such significant questions, but countless centuries of human behavior show that many of us ask the question anyway. As both a man of faith and a man of science, Dr. Felsburg is uniquely qualified to present helpful material on a variety of subject matter, including the "Sin Cycle," the meaning of salvation, the nature of the lost person, God's sovereign work in redemption, how and what to share with unbelievers, and the understanding of the private and public commitments to Christ. Insightful and inquisitive at every turn, "How God Gets You Back" is the perfect resource for becoming a dynamic, effective evangelist.
Jesus said, "When you know the truth, the truth will set you free." In this book, "The Five-Fold Ministries," there are hidden truths you will need to know before it is too late for you. First and foremost, you need to know that God calls - and Sends. In this broken generation, God has sent a word to the church; He is saying, "I want my church to be effective," but they cannot be effective enough except when they know what they must do. That is why in His time in the ministry; Jesus spent countless hours grooming the Apostles. Moreover, by the time Jesus went back home, they were ready to stand by themselves, helped by the Holy Spirit. If you feel you want to serve God, here is a mirror, see where you stand. These are the basics you must know before you start to do anything for the Lord; if you have started already, you still have time for changes. Christine M Kwagala is an intercessor and a teacher of the Bible for 28 years and a mother of two-Isaac Mujuzi, who is now 28 years of age, and Betty Mujuzi, who went to be with the LORD.
