About The Author Dr. Melad Smith. Jr., Ed. is the eldest of fourteen siblings of Deacon Melad Smith, Sr. and Mother Rosa Edwards Smith of Folkston, Georgia. Dr. Smith is a member of the last graduating class of Bethune High School of Folkston, Georgia. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served for 27 honorable years. His military service extends from an array of assignments in the United States, Europe, the Far East, and the Middle Eastern countries, and in a number of positions that included two combat assignments before retiring in 1995 to his home of Folkston, Georgia. His awards and decorations range from Army Achievement medals, Army commendation Medals, Meritorious Service Medals, Bronze Star, and Legion of Merit. Dr. Smith's scholastic achievements are from Northern Virginia Community College, Central Texas College, University of Maryland, Austin Peay State University, Webster University, Armstrong State University, Valdosta State University, and Nova University that culminated into a Doctorate Degree in Education Leadership. As a Post Graduate Educator, he has served on the adjunct faculty of Central Texas College, University of Maryland, Austin Peay State University, and a human resource developer for the Army Engineer School. Dr. Smith began a second career in secondary education with Charlton County High School and served for seventeen years before retiring in 2010. As an educator, he served as a teacher, Assistant Principal, Alternative School Principal, and Director of Careers and Technical Education for the school system. He was elected to the office of City Councilman in1998, in which he served for four terms. He was elected on November 5, 2011, as the first Black Mayor of the city of Folkston, on a platform of duty, honor, country, and integrity. However, his greatest achievement is that of his calling into the ministry in which his ministry reaches throughout various parts of the United States, Europe, and the Middle-East while serving in the armed forces. He has over 33 years of Pastoral experience and ecclesiastical service. He has over 48 years of leadership and teaching experience in both ecclesiastical and secular education. He has served over 25 years as the Superintendent in the House of God in Jesus Inc., responsible for education and church development. He was taught by his parents to be a man and that you are only limited by your innate abilities. His grandparents, Rufus and Ruby Milton Edwards, instilled integrity and that a man must work by the sweat of his brow. His great grandmother, Elsie Milton, taught him the art of being a man that happened to be a Black man, and the renowned Ruby D. Edwards Peterson, his mentor, to preach the Word of God and sit down.

God knows your pain and your heart. God is the only answer. He is our comforter. He is our journey. Allow Him to revive you as you spend time alone with Him reading the words so inspired by Him on these pages. Be encouraged and be revived. I am a wife and mother of 2 daughters. I now have a precious son, Blake who I prayed for when my Megan was just a little girl. Blake is an answer to prayer. I prayed the same for Sarah and I know God will honor that prayer as well. I am the oldest and I have one living sister. I have been married to James for over 28 years. He was my rock through my greatest time of need. I changed jobs or rather, the Lord made the change for me some time after this season. I am a member of Auburn Heights Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. I have been in children's ministry for 20 years. I have grown in different ways since this season of my life. I was born in a little town, in a home in which my father built, a place called Ponchatoula Louisiana. I am proud of being from this little Country town; known as a Country Girl. Being from this town, our values were very high, not only how we felt about ourselves, but also how we care about others, and how we treat them. My passion and love in God stemmed from these values and, over the years, has strengthened my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. I am also thankful to have two grown sons, Derick and Jermaine Cade; nine grandchildren and two special great granddaughters; known as my G'Gs. I also have many daughters. Although they are not my biological daughters, they are the ones, in which the Lord Jesus has given me. I give a very warm and heartfelt thank you to that daughter who helped me in getting this book of poetry out. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I consider myself as being very sensitive, fun loving person. I love people and want to see them succeed in life. I believe one way they will succeed is to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ! I have been so very blessed to know the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior, and for Him to have blessed me to have met and married the love of my life, LeRoy Cade. God used him in many areas of my life and though he went home to be with the Lord in 2013, it is through God's love expressed through LeRoy that inspired me to write this book. Tammy Cantrell Greene was born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia, where she currently lives. I'm divorced, I have two adult daughters and is now raising my two grandsons. I love fishing, reading, riding motorcycles, cooking and most of all serving God. Along the way people have given up on me and some said I'd never amount to anything or won't ever change. But God...

Later she became the secretary and bookkeeper for St. Francis de Sales Church in Lansing where she and her husband have lived for 36 years.Helen has compiled a book of her early poems, "Tender Loving Care". She and her husband have hand sewn and hand bound copies that she has given to family and friends. She has also been working on poems of reflection for the Gospel readings for Cycles A and C.

Erich Wildgrube was born in Newark, NJ in 1958. While he was raised in a Catholic home, by the time of his Confirmation had rejected his family's faith. After having served in the US Air Force, training as an equipment operator with the Army Corps of Engineers, Erich found himself driving over the road for an armored car company. On November 14, 1982, Jesus appeared to Erich in a static vision of Himself. This experience catapulted Erich into an exhaustive quest for the keys to a real relationship with His Savior. Through churches, books, and pastoral counseling, Erich gleaned small bits of truth everywhere he landed. Sustained peace and Joy, however, were always just beyond his reach. Josey would do his schooling in the Bahamas interestingly his high School education would come from a local Catholic High School the St. Augustine's College. He would continue his schooling at The Bahamas Baptist Bible Institute, the FBI Caribbean Police School, Louisiana Baptist College and the New Life School of Theology.
