God, our Heavenly Father, loves His children! The evidence of God's love is found throughout the Bible. There are many scriptures to support God's love for his children; however, John 3:16 is probably the most quoted and memorized scripture in the Bible reflecting God's love for us: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 "NKJV".
Sitting in the pews of every church across the country are women who hide their pain behind a smile, who bury the sadness under their Sunday best, who hold their tears until no one is around to see them cry. But when one woman dared to break the silence and speak out about her lonely journey through sorrow to find healing grace, she found she wasn't as alone as she thought. In knowing others have walked similar valleys and survived, we can each find comfort and strength, and learn that it is possible to Fly with Mended Wings.
Have you thought of what life after death would be like for you? In God's sovereign POWER, He has the ability to break into the lives of some people. He let Alva Wilson experience a Supernatural trip to heaven and then return to earth to share her experience. In My Road Trip To Heaven, Alva Wilson describes her experiences upon suddenly leaving earth as a result of her car accident, then suddenly standing in the presence of her Lord In Heaven. This candid account is clear and concise. It portrays to those who may be experiencing or feeling some anxiety about "life to death" and what death is like. There is a destination for those who are righteous, we call this place HEAVEN. Jesus said, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:3 KJV There's another eternal destination for the unrighteous. That place is called hell and it was not created for the righteous man. Your decision while living on earth will determine your destiny. I invite you to travel with me and experience, "Standing in His presence! Can you imagine?
So often, much of family legacy is lost when a grandparent is laid to rest. In today's world, lives are busy and frequently family members live great distances apart. A family vacation or holidays together is great but never enough to really piece together the heritage that a grandparent can provide. Everyone of Faith, has a story to tell. With this in mind, Grandma Gladys decided to write her own story and to inspire others to do the same. The story takes us from a little farm in North Dakota and the primitive conditions that many grandparents lived in just a few decades ago, to new life in California. Along the way, the family was introduced to a Savior who would change everything. However, with the disappointments that come when we put our trust in others, grandma had a huge decision to make: would she follow the path of her peers or would she choose the life that her own mother and father had taken? The book is full of humorous stories around grandma's questionable antics and how the results affected her life. Each chapter ends with a piece of Godly advice. While life has changed dramatically in the last 60 years, we still face the same problems with pride, misplaced goals and shallow commitments. Seeing how the last generation coped with these issues can bring real meaning to the next. In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway is no death Proverbs 12:28 NKV
I wish I could take away all the hurt but I can't. I felt so nervous and sick to my stomach; I couldn't help but to have fear and anger I felt even a bigger pain as I got in the vehicle and looked at our kids! Dear God, Give me strength to trust and to love my husband more than ever before. My hand started shaking, my heart pounding, and I knew this wasn't going to be a good phone call. You can still conquer the world when it's surrounded with love.

Vivian Carroll Jones is an Arkansas native born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Cortez and Victoria Carroll, the seventh of ten children. She grew up in the south when people of color were treated as second-class citizens. At a very early age Ms. Jones and three of her siblings participated in the struggle for Civil Rights and equality. Ms. Jones became involved with SNCC in Pine Bluff as a high school student. After high school she married and had three children. In 1973, she became the first African American to be hired by the city attorney's office. This was a bittersweet victory, however, and she quickly filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission due to discrimination in the workplace. This experience led her "to pursue higher education and entrepreneurship." She earned a degree in Social Studies from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a health sciences degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and a degree from the Agape School of World Evangelism. For over 25 years she worked as a nurse and health educator at South Central Career College, Aspen's Career One, Jefferson Hospital and at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Experiencing the first 1963 March on Washington at 15 years of age, marching with the late civil rights leader, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., incarcerated on five occasions for civil rights - these are the author's first hand, personal experiences in the struggle for social changes.
He begged God for a miracle. But God knew the best means and timing; He knew Jerry wasn't ready for the answers he was seeking. For decades, Jerry struggled to find freedom from his unwanted sexual attraction to men. He loved Jesus and believed that homosexual fantasies and behaviors were wrong. Christians in America have taken a severe beating across the political spectrum in the last several decades. John Feet does not sugarcoat the main reason for this demise. Christians carry the light of the Holy Spirit. Darkness cannot overtake light; the only way darkness can advance is if light recedes. But John doesn't stop there. Return of the Christian is nothing short of a manifesto, a call to action to all Christian citizens of the United States of America. John details a biblical plan of action for Christians to stand firm against the unbeliever's onslaught. By standing first, Christians will then advance toward their goal and finally engage in a massive spiritual counter-offensive of biblical proportions. The Return of the Christian series is designed to encourage and remind American Christians of their duty to stand on the entire Gospel at all times as they retake lost territory to restore the nation as a Beacon on a Hill. John Feet holds a BA in Biblical Studies from The College at Southeastern and earned his MA in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and was awarded the Presidential Service Badge for his service in the White House Situation Room under President Reagan's Administration.
American Christians are very familiar with the Word of the Lord recorded in II Chronicles 7:14: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. But just three generations after God spoke these words to King Solomon, He again spoke the following words to His people: The Lord is with you, if you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach them, and without the law. But in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him, and he was found by them. II Chronicles 15:2-3 Is it possible that American Christians today, like God's people of the past, have been for a long time without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without the law? Many Christians have been praying for the next Great Awakening without really understanding what it is they have been asking for. What exactly is a Great Awakening? History tells us that Great Awakenings are about more than stirring up our emotions. A truly Great Awakening is a point in time when there is an abrupt change in the hearts and in the lives of the people, over a sustained period of time. In a truly Great Awakening there is something that we are awakened to, and this book is about identifying what that something is.
She wanted her son to succeed in life, to thrive in school and in a chosen profession that would bring him accolades and a lucrative income. However, Veronica wanted Timmy''s efforts to prosper in life done on her terms, with her advice and in the manner she felt best to achieve this dream for Timmy. Hidden Treasure, the Christian fictional story by author Michael Vande Brake, represents the unrealistic drive by one single mother to shape her only son into an affluent person with success to spare, and how God released her son to a greater purpose than was previously thought. Parenting her child alone soon after his birth, Veronica chose to raise Timmy with an iron fist, keeping him from friendships with others and consuming his time with chores, school and extracurricular activities. Timmy''s feelings or dreams were never considered in this projected path that Veronica was forcing him to traverse, leading him into a fearful existence and one without love or encouragement from Veronica. Yet as the years went by, Timmy, now Tim, began to seek a life away from his overbearing mother, one that was centered in a career in nursing and filled with the love of others, especially that of a special lady. Choices made by Veronica led to the demise of both her and Tim''s successful careers, but God still had plans for Tim that would be more than he had ever dreamed. This fictional tale shows the power of God to change any circumstance into a great display of His love and power, and His ability to transform a person''s life, like Tim''s, into one that can be used to transforms the lives of others. No matter what requirements others place on a person, God has the greater say for how the person''s life will succeed and glorify Him.
The Midnight Hour speaks of America''s turning away from God in recent years. Author DeborahStarczewski believes if America could turn back to its original ideals and morals, the future ofthe United States would be better and brighter. A revival would help bring America out of itsstate of confusion. There is great hope for America if we turn back to God individually and as anation. America must choose to overcome the world in our hearts on purpose. We must learn toforsake the world and learn to have fellowship with God. Without God, there is no true safety orsecurity for America. What is America''s problem? America''s problem is sin-and the remedy orfix to America''s problem is Jesus Christ.
Where is your relationship with God? We should humble ourselves if we want our relationshipsto grow stronger. Once we understand the purpose of God''s ways, God will make clear our pathof knowledge and path of purpose. What is a relationship? Relationships can change our lives.Relationships play a key role in shaping our views, shaping our attitudes, and molding character. If we raise children according to God''s Word, we will prepare children for the most importantrelationship that they will ever have in life. The most important relationship in our life is ourrelationship with God. We are one body in Christ. What is our purpose in life? Learn about Godand walk in God''s ways. Walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh. The world is breeding a corruptnation. Who better to understand and learn from than Christ?
Since childhood I was able to express myself by writing rather than words, and as time went by I found that my chores and responsibilities were baiting me for writing. Since I was a preacher''s wife, I more or less kept myself in the background. Yet, I saw the good, the bad and the ugly that needed attention. I prepared the weekly church bulletin, and a monthly church newsletter to the congregation. This gave me the opportunity to express concerns with discretion rather than to verbally embarrass or rebuke individuals. It also gave me the opportunity to reach out to those who had very special needs of healing, both physically and mentally. I found, too, that a pat on the back could be encouraging, and especially to young people.I am certain that everyone who shares with me these writings will find truths, comfort and concern for both self and others. We all have compassion for others in one way or another. This book is designed to open hearts and minds to what is happening about us and around us, and will perhaps become your own thoughts as you reach out to others that have needs.
The writing of this book, inclusive of the name, is in direct response to God''s instructions. The writer believes that God allowed her to have the specific experiences shared, out of which the burden for this book emerged. The underlying philosophy is that God does not want His children to retire. He wants them to re-tyre, put on new and different ''tyres'', in order to continue to be active in His service. It is a book that can help all age groups, but especially those over forty. The concern is for the spiritual, physical, mental, emotional and financial health of senior persons in general and Christians in particular. The author shares some of her personal experiences in order to remind readers that God has a plan for all the seasons of their lives. You need to choose His plan for the senior years, because it is superior. FOR HIS NAME SAKE, you must prepare for re-tyrement. You need to finish strong. Author: Dr. Shirley CadoganDr. Cadogan has been a Christian for most of her life, and has functioned in almost every position in the Wesleyan Holiness Church of Trinidad and Tobago. She has been involved in training workers in the church for over thirty years, and worked in the Public Service for thirty-five years. She was specifically called of God to re-tyre early while serving as a Budget Supervisor in the Ministry of Finance. Following the Instructions of God, she went on to earn a Bachelor, Master then a Ph.D. degree in Christian Education. She has been a part-time lecturer at the Caribbean Nazarene College, Trinidad and Tobago, since 2003.
Love is a beautiful characteristic of life, captured in a couple''s lingering gaze towards one another or in a parent''s endearing touch on a child''s face. God created love to represent His bond with His creation, a connection established with mutual feelings of appreciation, contentment and admiration.Just as humans desire to establish a personal, intimate relationship with God, He wants humans to seek the same with their fellow mankind, especially in the romantic sense.Virtue expounds on God''s intent for relationships between men and women through a collection of poetry written by author Baby Joseph. The poems chronicle the journey a couple travels as they go from casual acquaintances to wedded lovers of bliss. Baby Joseph seeks first for readers to recognize that love was not first created by man, but by God who wanted to be close and available to His creation. Within each person, He formed a desire to receive love and give it freely back to God and others. The majority of the poems then focus on the relationship produced between a man and a woman, written as though from the heartfelt thoughts of a man in love with his woman. As the couple draw closer to their impending wedding, their passion and love for one another only intensifies, along with an awareness of God''s provision of their companionship.Besides being a celebration of God''s love, and His conception of love shared within a couple, readers will find that Virtue is also a guiding tool in learning to treat your significant other with respect and patience. It is more than just a collection of poetic verse; it is recognition of the greatest gift that God gave His children, the ability to love.
And he saith unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."-Matthew 4:19

Intimacy; it''s a word that could ignite discomfort and/or confusion among people, as to what intimacy is in the relationship capacity. For Christians, explaining to others about spiritual intimacy with the Heavenly Father can be even more difficult, considering it''s intimacy with someone that can''t be touched or seen. Yet becoming personal with God in a relationship allows intimacy to not only be felt between God and you, but it also improves soul ties you share with others and yourself. Author Nodella Jordan explores this mindset towards intimacy with The Intimate Place, focusing on all areas of intimacy, from physical to emotional. Nodella discloses that intimacy is more than just sex, but personally knowing God, your spouse/boyfriend and yourself completely. Using truths learned from her journey into intimacy with God, Nodella desires for readers to develop this special bond with God, which will enhance openness in intimacy with others.

In the Gospels Jesus proclaims that He will "build His Church." In the Book of Acts we see the beginnings and spread of His Church.  Throughout the epistles we see the good, the bad and the ugly of the struggling Church.  In Revelation chapters 2-3 we find John writing to seven literal churches in Asia Minor.  It has been about 65 years since the Lord''s ascension.  Jesus through John is asking . . . "Hey it''s been a while.  Let''s see how are you guys doing?"  In these two chapters Jesus goes on to either applaud or criticize the churches for their actions or lack thereof.  The question is . . . what if Jesus came to visit churches today in the United States? What do you think he would have to say?  It could be a very sobering thought.  Statistics tell us that as a whole,  the Church in this country is not doing so well.  Why?  Could the answer be the total lack of discipleship in churches today?  Why the vast difference and the tremendous disparity between the early church and the church today? This book is an attempt to answer many of these questions as well as give spiritual direction to those who are the Church.Chris Copeland brings a lot of experience to the table as an author.  He is a graduate of Arizona College of the Bible and Fuller Theological Seminary.  He has held innumerable jobs: a police officer, commercial diver, pastor, college professor, project and safety manager in the semiconductor industry, high school and college track coach.  He even did a stint as a rodeo clown.  He currently lives in Phoenix Arizona where he is director of 2wenty8ight 19:Ministries, which is a discipleship ministry.  He is also the Director of Men''s Ministries at Bethany Bible Church.  He is married to Wendy and has two adult step kids Brenna and Justin.
"Quickly sister, inside," the voice of a woman said. Two hands reached out, grabbed the girls, and pulled them inside. At the same time there was an almighty roar like the sound of a thousand crashing waterfalls, as the Israelite army let rip a mighty shout. For a split second afterwards, there was silence. It was like the silence of eternity holding its breath, watching, waiting, expecting something awesome and terrible to happen. And then it did! The earth shook violently. The entire section of the wall of the house peeled off, like when you run a hot knife over butter. One moment it was there and the next it was gone. The walls of the city collapsed. With a thunderous roar they were flattened-slammed into the ground with such force, it was as if they had never been there. The waiting Israelite army surged into the city like a river bursting its banks in flood.  Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, has arisen, roaring at his enemies and declaring heaven''s victory. He is calling-tenderly, passionately for his Beloved Bride, his Jerusalem. Join Zoe as she encounters the magnificence and glory of Jesus, and learns that she too is called to shine and overcome the darkness at the end of the age.Dan''s heart is to see a passionate generation of children ignited to be radical lovers of Jesus. Children are hungry for truth and want to experience the reality of God for themselves-dreams, visions, angelic encounters, signs and wonders. The seven books in the Zoe Pencarrow series will inspire, awaken and release the hearts of children and adults to God''s amazing love, encouraging them to take hold of their ''God destiny'', and become the champions they are called to be. Dan is delightfully married, works in the marketplace and is involved in issues of social justice.

DeAnnaΓÇÖs life couldnΓÇÖt be further from what she had imagined for herself all these years. Due to a series of unfortunate events, her ideal career seemed beyond her reach, and she was limited in her physical capabilities with little hope for recovery. Worst of all, she still couldnΓÇÖt remember the event that triggered her downward spiral. When she begins to suffer from recurrent nightmares involving church and a shadowy figure she becomes even more confused. Once a young woman filled with the Holy Spirit and very strong connection to God, she now looked around thinking that at any moment she might lose the very thing that held her together; her faith. Dr. T. Danielle received her B.S. degree from Alabama State University in 1998. She attended the Emory University School of Medicine and received her MD in 2002. Dr. Russell completed her residency training at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. Dr. Russell is a United States Air Force and Iraq wat veteran. She currently owns a family medicine practice she started five years ago in Alabama. Divine Forgiveness is the sophomore title to her 2008 release Sanctified and Still Standing. Although she loves writing, she also loves to exercise, travel and sing. She is the wife of Dr. Albert Russell, Chemistry Department Chair at Tuskegee University and mother of two children, Donovan (9) and Genesis (6).
Patrice Cagle''s abuse began not with strangers but with trusted loved ones. The repeated abuses and almost total lack of support led her to a place of tragic acceptance, which set the pattern for a long period of guilt and unhealthy relationships. I had been broken to the point that I felt dirty, unwanted, untouchable, and unlovable. I did not understand how God could want a person like me to be His child . . . Then He reminded me that He is always with me (Mt 28:20) . . . He still loves me and all my issues today and will still love me tomorrow even if I mess up. The change was not instant and painless. Recovery took meditation on the Word, prayer and fasting, obedience to His will, godly counseling, and bonding with others who had survived similar horrors. She became absolutely dependent on God''s love and grace, but her healing required that she take an active role in becoming who she was created to be. My life used to be a mess, but it''s because of that mess that I now have a message. I''m telling my story, so God can get the glory . . . Adversity is a confirmation that you''re in the will of God . . . God is waiting on you to meet Him at the place of provision . . . God is not glorified by our suffering, but he is glorified when we have a good attitude during suffering. The blessing, power, and anointing comes after the pain. My Sustainer is a testimony for everyone who questions the purpose of life''s trials and wonders where God is during the pain. The fact is He''s always there and will use suffering to strengthen the character and faith of His children.Patrice Cagle resides in North Carolina (with her cat). She is a doctoral graduate student conducting triple negative breast cancer research. She is the recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Award.
