Charles Wayman Brashear was born October 5, 1928 in Brownwood, Texas. He grew up during the years of the Great Depression and World War II. When he graduated from high school, he joined the U.S Air Force and served for thirteen years.When God called him into the Gospel ministry, he completed his BA Degree at Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas and his BD and MDiv Degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired from missionary and pastoral ministries in 2001. He wrote three volumes of memoirs of a Grandfather and three novels including Roby and the Two Minute Miracle, Roby''s call, and The Pastor of Carrington Gap.Although the novels are fiction and the character factious, many of the episodes in the stories are influenced by actual life experiences.
