Dr. Donald R. Downing is God's heart specialist and surgeon general for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the founder of Heart to Heart Christian Centers International for the Gospel of the Heart. Jesus Christ is Lord of his life and it is not just a matter of his personal opinion, but his relationship and new life in Christ. His website is www.heartdoctordowning.com. In secret, opinions have consumed the world, the church and all human existence. As a formidable world power, they determine how and where we live, what we believe, which church we attend, our job, success, and friends. In every school, government, courtroom, family and nation, opinions rule. They determine our desires, personal views, and our responses to life's vital issues, even our faith in God. They caused Satan to fall, Adam and Eve to disobey God, Moses to fear Pharaoh, David to kill Goliath, and the disciples to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. God's opinion working through His love for us caused Him to send Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. Opinions determine our love, marriage, moral values, what we think and feel about others, our conversation, lifestyle, and daily communication. In 1 Kings 18:21, the Prophet Elijah asked the people a serious question: How long will you hesitate (halt, stop) between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him. This indicates opinions are deeply involved in our decisions, how we serve God, our worship, prayer, relationship, and praise. Our mindset, attitude, soul, and heart are greatly affected by our opinions. This book encourages all to be free from the power of wrong opinions that separate us from God's purpose, His Word, salvation, and eternal life.

Sexual dysfunction in marriage is a big topic that no one wants to talk about and, while there are many long volumes on sex and intimacy, there are no books that were written with the express purpose of assisting couples in conversing about their sex lives. This book fills a much-needed void that is, perhaps, most appreciated by the counselors and pastors trying to facilitate conversation between a husband and wife about the more difficult sexual issues. In their own practices, Dr. Hague and Mr. Smith individually sought a resource that would help their patients have meaningful discussions about sex. When they conversed about mutual patients and how best to assist them, they found no publication that approached difficult subjects with the goal of opening lines of communication between husband and wife. It was out of a desire to assist their patients that this book was written. www.BoldSpeak.net Neil and Dr. Melissa Hague have a passion for helping others to promote healthy marriages and families. Through her obstetrics and gynecological practice, Dr. Hague has the unique opportunity to see the frustration and strife that sexual difficulty can cause for women and their marriages. Communicating about the underlying issue or condition is paramount to resolving sexual dysfunction in marriage. Dr. Hague has helped many women, their husbands and their marriages, and based on these experiences she established a sexual dysfunction clinic in her medical practice. Dr. Hague and her husband sense a great need to address the often unspoken topic of sexual issues and co-wrote Start Talking: Intimacy to help couples talk about their sex lives as a vital and important part of a healthy marriage. James and Julie Smith have a heart for counseling couples to help them navigate issues that often arise in every marriage. James, a licensed marriage and family therapist, sees sexual issues in marriage far too often and understands why couples would have a hard time starting the conversation about their sex lives. While many concerns can arise in marriage, sex is deceptively often a cause of a number of those other issues; James co-wrote Start Talking: Intimacy as a resource for his patients and other couples to sort through what is often an underlying problem thereby leading to quality enhancement in other aspects of marriage.

The organization of the universe calls for prudence rather than recklessness. This is so obvious that many people are wondering whether they should go with science or religion on this issue. They practically ask: Does Satan exist? Does God exist? Where does evil come from? What is the right or the best religion? Must Christians obey all man-made laws? Can God be seen? What is Jesus? Is there a difference between God and Jesus? Where does the world come from? What is the Holy Spirit? What is the Trinity? Is there eternal life? Is Hell real? Is Paradise true? Can Satan enter churches? For many, these interrogations can only give rise to controversial debates. However, the author, in The Path of Faith: A Must for Disciple-Making, has found a technique to shed light on all of them. His unambiguous way of answering each of these questions makes this book unique and interesting. Never more will people be bewildered about their faith! ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Jean Wilbert Luma is proficient in a variety of disciplines. He holds a diploma as a computer application specialist from Davenport University in Michigan, a certificate as a correctional officer from Lansing Community College in Michigan, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Liberty University in Virginia, and a master's degree in theological studies from Liberty Baptist Seminary in Virginia. He is pursuing a doctorate degree in education at Concordia University in Oregon. He is the president of Allegiance Christian Mission and the founder of Allegiance Christian Church.

PART MEMOIR, PART MANIFESTO. THE MISSION OF CHANGING THE WORLD HAS CHANGED... A LOT! This masterpiece, which is mysteriously a memoir and a manifesto, reveals not only how the mission of changing the world has changed...a lot, but also how to respond appropriately. Nobody in 1910 would've imagined a book like this coming from an African medical doctor now pastoring an English-speaking Chinese church in a French City in North America. In three scintillating parts Dr. Yaw Perbi shares yesterday's story of global mission and his personal call from medicine to mission and from Ghana to the global stage; today's realities of a changed world and how to face a future that starts with you, here and now. Your heart will be thrilled as we get in, on, over, under, around, through and beyond boxes-even no boxes! The mission of changing the world has significantly changed and you will want to as well, after reading Thinking Outside the Window. Thank you, Yaw for reminding us that an old vision is finished. God is doing a new thing. May God help us all to get on board! Paul Borthwick, Author, Western Christians in Global Mission: What's the Role of the North American Church? Anyone can name a controlling factor in his/her life: people, places, things and even personal thoughts/feelings. However, those factors can grow to be manipulators used by the enemy to force people into committing sin and rejecting God. A solution is provided in author Luteria Archambault's new book What's Controlling You, in the realization of Jesus being the foundation within Christians and the main tool to fight demonic spirits. Luteria examines the aspects of control that emerge in life: expressed in words and body language by people to emotions holding people in prisons mentally. These are spiritual traps for Christians, even found in congregations and among intimidating church leaders. However, salvation by Jesus, not works, provides freedom for Christians to find repentance of sin and to worship God. Luteria's shared personal visions and stories support the hope of influencing readers to take back control from others and give it to God.

The Miracle of Joy speaks to today's yearning for authentic and deep joy. It is based on a fresh study of Paul's letter to the Philippians, "the letter of joy." Paul, sustained by God's grace in all of his difficulties and upheavals, repeatedly calls in Philippians for his friends to "Rejoice!" And yet Paul is in prison, still struggling with "a thorn in the flesh," and is living with at least six other daunting challenges which normally would smother joy. His joy truly is miraculous. The Miracle of Joy is a 31-Day Journey into that deeper joy. It speaks compellingly to individuals but is also suitable for Group Study. Guided by a refreshing study of the Scriptures, this encouraging work cites numerous historical references, Christian hymns, and real-life illustrations. Dr. Huggins affirms that the same miraculous joy Paul experienced and celebrated is available to us today. Philippians reveals the Key to that joy and offers more than twenty specific, sometimes surprising, ways to nurture that joy. This 31-Day Journey may change your life forever. Dr. Sid Huggins is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and of Duke Divinity School, magna cum laude. He is the author of Morning Will Come: Living with Hope in Uncertain Times, and chief editor of Here I Am, Lord. He and his wife, Kay, live in Raleigh, N. C. They have been blessed with two children, John and Janice, and her husband, Matt, and their two children, Michael and Elizabeth. As a United Methodist pastor and noted Bible teacher, Dr. Huggins is a recognized Christian leader in spiritual formation, evangelism, missions and development of lay ministries. With his focus on the classical Christian faith, he has preached and led seminars in more than three hundred churches.

Reflections of Destiny is a must read, as it reveals a vital, encouraging and faith filled message to those called of God to be used as instruments of His love, grace, mercy and peace. It crosses all cultural, racial, gender and ethnic barriers. A perusal of this book mirrors the Call, the Covenant and the Commission of the writer, as his candor and transparency is penned extensively. The writer asserts that the Call was providential, divinely directed by Almighty God to help resolve crime in our community through Education and Affirmation. The Covenant became evident as a result of studying God's word and learning that we are adopted into His Royal family through the blood of Jesus. Finally, the writer acknowledges with distinction that as sons and daughters of God, we are given a Commission to go and tell others about the Kingdom of God; not only in words, but also in deeds reflective of the awesome power, presence and goodness of His grace (I Corinthians 4:20).

Our moments of loneliness are often the place whereGod is preparing us for what is ahead....Could it be that the seats in our lives are so filled withopinions that there is no room left for the facts?..Did you know that 40% of people in the world today are lonely? An even more shocking claim is that 60% of people who are married today are lonely. Contrary to popular belief loneliness has nothing to do with the amount people you have in your life. You can have an abundance of family and friends around and still be lonely. Likewise you can be alone and not be lonely. Paul Tillich writes, "Loneliness expresses the pain of being alone and solitude expresses the glory of being alone." What distinguishes these two from one another is whether or not you have the ability to properly manage being alone. The Crisis of Global loneliness has caused a tremendous amount of collateral damage for humankind to contend against. Its impact has affected young and old alike. Some of the most famous people in the world are also some of the loneliest people. While modern technology has afforded us the opportunity to be more connected to each other, there is a steady rise in suicide and depression among individuals suffering with loneliness. Still the question remains, why is it that something so prevalent is continually overlooked and misunderstood? How do we equip ourselves to handle being alone? The Liberation In Loneliness seeks to address these in depth dilemmas. There is no magical cure for loneliness. Loneliness and lonely people will always be around; however, we all possess the ability to utilize loneliness as a tool to unlock the depth of our potential, thus granting us a freedom in loneliness that is seldom experienced. Brandon J. Harris M.DIV is a Youth Pastor, lecturer, humanitarian, community liaison, composer and now Author. Brandon has made an impressive mark on various communities throughout the continental United States through preaching, teaching, and performing music and human service initiatives. Brandon desires to use every stage possible to spread the divine message of The Liberation In Loneliness.

My name is unimportant, I am simply called the Maker. The Earth has been devastated by a third World War that saw over 6 billion people annihilated and the planetary ecosystem marred beyond recognition. My sole task was to restore it. Using three-dimensional replication technology that I perfected for both inorganic and organic duplication, I have been able to restore much of what was lost. But now I am dying, and a replacement must be found to continue my work. Without that, the world will slip again into an endless morass of conflict and destruction. All that I am, all that I have, is now focused on the selection of the next Maker. This is the story of that search - God help it to succeed.

It was spoken into her mind one night by the Holy Spirit, the idea of a prayer journal/devotional that would positively affect the faith lives of women. What was created was 40 Days to Daybreak, the latest devotional by Frankye Wagner-Johnson to strengthening Christian women''s walk with God through prayers, scriptures and devotionals. Frankye deliberates on several issues women may deal with at some point in their lives, or on a daily basis: everything from abortion to financial problems to handling marriage problems. Her devotionals are heightened even more with Frankye''s disclosure of her personal testimony, reflecting on her husband''s alcohol abuse and facing fears that she overcame. The triumphs God brought through these situations in her life is to bring hope in life''s disappointments to readers and encourage them to see the importance in obeying God, who can bring all out of despair and into love, mercy and grace.

Bridging the Abyss, like its companion novel In the Absence of God, offers a glimpse of a world in which men live consistently with the assumption that belief in God is irrelevant to modern life. Threaded through this story is a dialogue between two men, brought together when a young girl tragically disappears, who exhibit radically different ways of seeing the world. One of these men, a professor of literature, embraces atheistic materialism, while the other, a pastor, champions a Christian worldview. Their interaction and the story of the missing girl serve to highlight modern man''s existential predicament. Having marginalized God, moderns find themselves bereft of any objective basis for forming moral judgments, for hope that justice could ever be realized, or for finding any ultimate meaning, either in the existence of the human species as a whole or in the life of the individual. Modern man dispenses with God and believes that life can go on as before, but this is a conceit confuted by the history of the 19th and 20th century. A world that has abandoned God has turned its back on the wellspring of moral goodness, beauty, and truth, as well as the only possible objective ground for human rights and the dignity of the individual. Modernity has in many ways been a blessing, but it has also been a curse. History will perhaps decide whether the blessing has outweighed the curse. Meanwhile, Bridging the Abyss illuminates the tension between competing views of the world as they''re illustrated in the lives of the characters that inhabit its pages.  Richard L. Cleary teaches philosophy at several Pennsylvania colleges and is the author of In the Absence of God. He and his wife Barbara have three children and five grandchildren.

Dr. Joe Huebscher grew up as child number 11 in a family of 12 in northern Wisconsin, very much like the culture portrayed in Little House on the Prairie. He did not know the Lord until his family moved to Minneapolis when he was 16 years old. At that time, he quickly read through the Bible and began memorizing much of it. Following high school he entered Northwestern College, then Pillsbury College, Central Seminary, and Bob Jones University Seminary. He has taught at Maranatha Baptist Bible College and Tennessee Temple Seminary, and, in the last 25 years has spent his time traveling to and teaching in all the continents of the world. During his years of learning and then teaching others, Dr. Huebscher has found that very few people know God''s name and, of those who do, they do not really consider where He got it, why, or what it means. He has written this booklet to both help and encourage Christians to know God and His name. He trusts this booklet will further your knowledge of the One who gave His all for those who were His enemy. That is true love.

It balances the insights of good hermeneutics and Bible study with the heart of a Christian father. An interactive study guide is also included for personal or group use.

When you cross the finish line into Heaven, it should be your desire to have God say to you, "Well done my good and faithful servant."God is still working on me. As I face my third challenge with cancer, a complicated surgery was recommended, but I was told my heart would not handle it. Without the intervention of the "Great Physician" I am drawing closer to the finish line. Ken has a master''s degree in education and spent ten years working for the State of Michigan. His family, of one daughter and two boys, then went to Brazil for two years as short-term missionaries where Donna and Ken taught missionary children at Fortaleza Academy. He then continued in Christian education where he spent twenty-six years as teacher and administrator. His last fourteen years were spent as administrator of Otsego Baptist Academy. The enrollment grew from less than one hundred to over two hundred.

We cannot discount these mysterious occurrences, although we may not be able to explain them. For we have all had them at some time or another...Have you caught a glimpse of God: Enough to make you hunger to pursue Him? Enough to assure you there is something more? Your spirit is burdened for a taste of the supernatural in your life, and to go beyond the boundaries of traditional religious settings. You can''t deny what your spirit tells you: God has designed and orchestrated everything that touches our lives to bring us all into oneness with Him through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. My most transforming life experiences have been as a result of "God Talks." Everything else pales in comparison to talking with God and having God talk to you. Throughout my whole life, I have had such wonderful experiences that I am compelled to write about them.Join the author as she looks back over her life, through her crises and trials, through times of miracles and triumph, when she would hear "God Talk" and then see His Word manifest in every area of her life. Her "God Talks" saved her life and steered her along the rugged path. Was there a time when God brought you to the end of your own strength and became strength for you? These encounters are an invitation to a place and a relationship where God will unveil Himself through revelations of His Son, Jesus Christ, and give access to the deep things of God, made plain through "God Talks." Our acknowledgement of Him will bring revelations of Him and of ourselves as never before seen under the heavens. So, let''s have "God Talks." Sabrina Lewis is the founder and senior pastor of The Heart of Jesus Church, where she has pastored for 15 years.
