Brief Encounters is a very interesting work at a number of levels. My life, as a young boy, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, in the early 1940s, was not much different than most boys of that day and time, except that my parents owned a grocery store and that made things different for me. The most important event of my childhood happened when I was 8 years old, on a Sunday morning in a small town church, the Love of Jesus Christ touched my heart and I was "Born Again" in 1951. My teenage years were the worst years of my life spiritually, but I had Godly parents that knew how to pray. I don't know how many times I started over but Jesus was always there for me. As does happen with most teenagers, we finally grow up and become responsible adults and that's what happened to me. At age 22 I met a young lady, named Connie Moser, whom I had known and attended church with for years. She had just graduated from high school and we were married one year later, and remained happily married for 47 years. On September 4, 2013 Connie passed and went home to be with Jesus, a most sad and difficult parting. In 1980, the Lord helped me start a High Tech Business serving refineries around the world. My travels presented numerous opportunities to share Jesus and to meet new Christians. Now in 2017, I'm still providing a unique troubleshooting service and still sharing the Love of Jesus Christ. During my college years, I developed an interest for the Book of Revelation. I wanted to know what Revelation had to say to people, approaching the start of the twenty first century.
