About the Author Timothy (Tim) Parker is 41-years-old as of the publishing of this book in 2016 and works full-time as a Payroll Supervisor for a small company in Covington, KY (A suburb of Cincinnati). I have been married happily since 2002 to the best wife a man could ask for Maureen Parker. I live with my wife and 4 cats in a small apartment on Cincinnati's east side. This is my first endeavor writing a book and have planned at least two more works for the future. As of the writing of this book I have no children but have been blessed with 8 nieces and 4 nephews on both sides of the family. We also work with 1 - 4 year olds in Pre-School ministry at Parkside Christian Church where we have been members since 2007. I also work with the homeless in Cincinnati dealing with brokenness in their lives. There was a time in my life when I would have believed the lies of those who said I was unworthy and not fit for use by God. However, as I read the interchange between this outcast Samaritan woman and Jesus, something within me began to feel there was hope for me. When she looked at Him, she did not see rejection or judgment. Can you even picture the excitement running through her as she realizes she is standing face-to-face with the long awaited Messiah? She immediately knew what she had to do. She ran as fast as she could, screaming to everyone she came to, "Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?" Charles Wayman Brashear was born October 5, 1928 in Brownwood, Texas. He grew up during the days of the Great Depression and World War II. When he graduated from high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served for thirteen years.When God called him into the Gospel ministry, he completed his BA Degree at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and his BD and MDiv Degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He retired from missionary and pastoral ministries in 2001. He wrote three volumes of Memoirs of a Grandfather and four novels including, Roby and the Two-Minute Miracle, Roby's High Calling, The Pastor at Carrington Gap and Roby and the Bandit's Cove.Although the novels are fiction and the characters factious, many of the episodes in the stories are influenced by actual life experiences. He is now Pastor Emeritus of the Cottonwood Baptist Church near Lorena, Texas.
