I wrote this book as a reminder of my past life and how God is so merciful. He will always turn situations around when you least expect it. It is also a reminder of my ups and downs, but mostly about how I lived my life putting God aside for my worldly pleasure. I was searching for love in all the wrong places.   It is about family, relationships, friends, my four marriages and the church. Also about all the disappointments I went through until I was willing to surrender all my life to God. He has been faithful to me even though I did not deserve it. However He blessed and restored me for being obedient to Him. Even though I am 78 years old, I feel God still has a lot for me to do before He calls me home. Today I am pleased with my life so much so that I want the world to know about my past life and how God brought me to where I am today. I wrote this book about my past life so men and women all over the world would know that God can change anyone who is willing to be obedient to His call in their lives. Today my life is fully devoted to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who saved me by shedding His blood on the cross at Calvary. My relationship with Him at this point in life is a relationship that I would love every man and woman to have with Him.

For years I have always heard that our main job for Christ was to "Go into all the nations and preach the Gospel." This posed a big problem for me. I know God''s Word pretty well, but whenever I opened my mouth to explain someone''s question about scripture, my rememberer would freeze up, and my forgetter would take over in babble. I have always felt guilty because I could never explain the Gospel that was in my heart. Since the 70''s I discovered that I had a gift for writing. Then in 2015, I got a revelation of how to share the Gospel.  God had given me a gift, and I felt that He wanted me to share it through the gift of poetry. I''m not much of a speaker, but I have no trouble writing down what is in my heart and turning it into a poem. I''ve enjoyed writing these poems over the past 40 plus years, and I hope you enjoy reading them also. I invite you to browse through them. I would like to praise and thank God for His inspirations and His gift for these poems. I couldn''t have done it without Him. A few of the poems were inspired by authors writings which I easily turned into poems. I acknowledged them as my inspiration at the end of those poems.  There''s one more thing I want to tell youThere''s a surprise towards the end of this bookA treasure that will keep you on God''s golden pathwaySo why not take a look?

  • av Dr Apostle Samuel Fowler
    207,-

When we think of freedom, we think of a life that benefits from the quality or state of being free. There is the idea of having no constraints in the choices that we make. Freedom speaks to the fact that one is liberated from whatever previously held him captive. There is a lot being said these days about human rights, which include things such as Freedom of speech, Freedom of assembly, Freedom of worship etc. Despite all of the efforts made by individuals and world organizations, there are still many nations and perhaps billions of individuals who do not enjoy what one would call this basic freedom. As you read this book, there are many people who are fighting for their freedom because there are those who want to rob them of their rights; and so, what we see being experienced in this world is the sad realization that there is no real freedom outside of Jesus Christ. In The Cost of My Freedom, Samuel Fowler addresses the issues that faced the human race because of the act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, which placed us all in a state of bondage, and how Jesus came and set us free through His death and resurrection. He also dealt with what we would face when we form a real relationship with Christ, and how He will fulfill his promise, never to leave us alone. You will learn about:Forgiveness Freedom from ParadiseThe impact of a relationship with Christ Gathering storm cloudsDeceit, Power and ImprisonmentAs you read you will be encouraged to trust Christ for a freedom that will last; a freedom that Christ paid for on your behalf. "If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" (John 8: 36)

Embarking on a life of faith is never an easy feat, especially when you consider the obstacles along your path come from an adversary who does not want you to succeed. However, believers both old and new in Christ can begin a voyage in life that will bring them closer to God and victorious over the world.Though author Patrick DuBois has been in ministry for over twenty years, he considers himself still a pilgrim on a journey just like his readers; thus the essence behind the title of his latest book, A Pilgrim''s Journey... Towards God''s Success In Life.Any journey is supposed to be reflective as you traverse the trail, which Patrick encourages readers to consider with help from his book.  Separated into three titled sections (Aptitude, Attitude and Gratitude), each section in the book acts as landmarks to prepare readers in navigating this spiritual journey. The "Aptitude" section focuses most on introducing readers to a purpose to believe, enhanced through an awareness of God''s faithfulness and that you, as a believer, can ask anything of Him and not doubt His response or abilities. The "Attitude" section goes deeper into your attitude after acceptance of Christ: whether you see yourself as a conqueror over the struggles of life through Christ or if you are still allowing the snares of this world to get the best of you.The final section, "Gratitude", encourages you to remain thankful toward God the Father, realizing where you came from and what an amazing purpose is ahead because of Him.Any journey comes with its own challenges and pitfalls, especially within the heart and mind of a believer, but with A Pilgrim''s Journey as your compass, the road less traveled can become a road bathed in the light of hopefulness, faith and love from God.

Every man, in his walk through life, must make choices. Life is full of choices. And life can be our greatest teacher. It''s those choices that are inevitably molded by our morals, our values and mostly our experiences. The challenge to the choices we make is that we cannot see the end (result) at the beginning (action). However, wisdom will allow us to stop and think about our choices - what we say or what we do - and ponder the outcomes before we choose. Confucius said "By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest." Although our experiences may be difficult and the scars may be deep, we have hope. And our hope comes from God.  Nehemiah 9:17 states "...But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love." Take your sins, your struggles, your fears and desperation and give them over the all-loving God of hope! Author J. W. Lee is the creator and co-founder of Galilean Ministries created to provide spiritual guidance & edification for men and devoted to inspiring men''s lives through spiritual, personal and financial resources.

You''ve put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and have become convinced that you really are a member of God''s Church, the Body of Christ, but wonder if the words from the pulpit are consistent with God''s Word.Or, you haven''t yet entrusted your eternity to Jesus, and are put off by the inconsistent though loud presentations of pastors and evangelists.God didn''t stutter when he spoke "through Paul" indicating salvation was not by works, nor when he spoke "through James" indicating works were necessary, nor was he advocating the Marxist-Leninist approach of fitting the inconsistent together into a synthesis. What IS the right way to see the New Testament?

I began my Christian journey at the age of twenty six. Forty-two years later I still hold true to the belief that the rapture of the church could happen at any moment. Believing in end time prophecy keeps the believer''s walk fresh with expectation and excitement. When we believe the Bible we can be reassured about the things that God has prepared for those who are His. Throughout the Bible there are many scriptures which point to the rapture and the soon coming of Christ. The Bible clearly explains what the future of mankind will be. It is my desire to awaken the lost and the sleeping church to the soon reality of the rapture and the Great Tribulation which will come upon those left behind._____________________________________________________________________________________________In a small town called Justice, a few miles from Napa California, lived five women whose lives would be changed by cataclysmic events that would take place in the world. Everything that they and many others knew would be drastically changed in a moment. These women lived in a small community and attended church all of their lives. They had a strong feeling of security because of their small town environment. And because of this, they thought they were immune to the pitfalls and evils of the rest of the world. Suddenly, their lives were turned upside down by an unexpected event. Will the ladies rise up to the occasion or die with the masses in a new world filled with chaos and violence?

As a mom and Occupational Therapist for over 20 years, my worst nightmare became a reality on November 1st, 2013. Two of our five children were involved in a horrible car accident, separately airlifted to different hospitals with traumatic brain injuries. You may cry, smile and laugh as you read about the first year of our journey and how it affected our entire family and small community. What may surprise you; however, is your faith in God''s healing and belief in the power of prayer will be magnified beyond your imagination.Research reveals "Ninety percent of victims who sustain severe axonal shearing of the brainstem do not come out of a coma, and often those who do, remain in a vegetative state." Be prepared to experience how, through the power of prayer, God crushed these statistics-his healing has no limitations.

Finish wellConsider Finish Well as one of those rare gems, those priceless teachings on a particular subject as it pertains, to the Body of Christ, and to the whole world, believer, and non-believer alike. It is like fresh dew, refreshing and timely, masterfully and exquisitely written. Overflowing with divine wisdom, and deepened understanding of the practicalities, Biblical truths and necessities of running this race, as Paul did, to the end, wherein we will then say, like our Elder Statesman Apostle Saul/Paul, I have fought the good fight of faith. Selah. The author brings to light wisdom that proceeds from the Father who created the Heavens and the earth, His plans and purposes for our lives in this hour. And the demand that God has placed on each of us, to "Finish Well."A book carefully brought forth through much prayer, meditation and study of the word of God, and life''s challenges. This book is a blessing to every household. It is equipping, and relevant. It provokes the spiritual giant, to the layman, to seek to go deeper in the Lord, and to dust oneself off after life''s knock-downs, and press toward the mark of the High calling of God in Christ Jesus. If applied, the teachings in this book will change one''s life, incredibly so! I believe this to be a most violently important aspect of our Christian faith, one that we can derive from the life of Paul, that we too, can finish our course, finish it well, finish strong, and most importantly, FINISH STANDING.I recommend this book to anyone who seeks a deeper intimacy with the Lord. Apostle Barbara Clarke is a native of Guyana and a citizen of Barbados. She is currently residing in the nation of Botswana, where she has been a resident for the past eighteen years. She is the visionary and pastor of Throne of Grace and Holiness Ministries, located in Gaborone, a ministry called to raise sons (male and female) in the fear of God and Holiness. God's Little Finger - The Trilogy, is Science fiction meets Christian fiction meets real life with humor, romance, anger, frustration and aggravation and a healthy dose of what a Christian is supposed to be and to do. Biblical truths and prophecy are injected at few and various times but are bold in their deliveries and the book's main message. The book is about 95% conversational between JohnAthan Edward David O'Brannon and among JohnAthan his mother, Sylvia; wife, Angela and most of the other characters that are within John's universe. Like his last name implies, he is Irish and a wee bit on the hot-headed side. He also had a strange unknown power when he was a child, from age 5 to puberty, then it disappeared as quickly as it arrived. Within the very first days of January, 2021, he is very belligerent at an alien entity when it approached and called out to him and they have a "lively" conversation. The alien is not an alien, but God. Then "The Power" returns into his DNA. Then things really heat up. There is a lot of wranglings and twists in his life, from a military viewpoint of his inventions to meeting an old friend who becomes his wife. Space travel and bases and orbiting stations then present themselves near the end, for the future of mankind. ". . . Only God has the final resting place and powers, in and through His Spirit, to change and rejuvenate human bodies." JohnAthan tells his wife, Angela: "Religion will not save us. Only the relationship offered by God to us, through his Son, our Lord and Savior, Messiah God, Jesus, will save us."
