The grace of God is exposed in new dimensions as this book explores His extravagant love for mankind.  The concept of grace is uncovered from many angles. Layers of clarity are sanded and articulated smoothly so the reader is left lacking excuses for reciprocating God''s love. The depth of the Father''s love is the question asked and thoroughly excavated. This unparalleled love continuously warms the hearts of all who accept it. The receiver of the abundant grace must focus not on how to repay the gift, but on how to daily worship the One who loved excessively. Dr. Lawrence Olusegun Olayele is a retired educator. Randall Corey became a believer in Jesus Christ in 1972 after almost dying from alcohol poisoning. He had been an alcoholic and suicidal since the age of 12 because of his homosexuality. In the fall of 1972 he enrolled at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. He graduated from Bob Jones University in 1977 with a BA in sacred music. He was ordained in 1978 as an independent Baptist minister. In 1979 he returned to BJU and did additional studies to become a band and orchestra conductor. He worked in a Christian school and then in a public school in Florida until 1986 when he entered the Army band program. He was stationed in W├╝rzburg, Germany and married Suzette Tobaison in 1989. In 1990 they were transferred to Virginia Beach, Virginia. He enrolled in the Living Waters program founded by Andy Comiskey. There he found healing for the homosexual behavior pattern that had driven his youthful alcoholism and suicidal thoughts. In 1993 he trained as a Living Waters leader. He has led sexual recovery groups since 1993 while serving in the military and after retiring. In 1994 he was blown away by the Toronto outpouring when Randy Clark visited Virginia Beach. Randall Corey experienced his first miracle as he and another pastor ministered healing to a young man who had not walked for over six years. The young man was healed and led a parade! Since then Randall has been walking in signs and miracles. He claims no denominational name, but simply asserts that he is a follower of Jesus Christ. Randall used his G.I. Bill and completed a counseling degree at Regent University in 2012. He continues to minister to men coming out of sexual addiction, and runs a spousal support group for wives whose husbands are addicted.

Have you ever asked God if He was crazy? I almost did that very thing. One day I felt God impress upon my heart to write a book. There was no doubt He was speaking to me. I could only reply, "I have trouble reading books Lord, and let me remind you, I am a high school dropout." There were my excuses. The good Lord shared with me that it was the right time to tell my story and how it had to be told. The Lord had spoken to me of my physical need for a healing: the Lord'd promise, I heard the lies of the Devil taunting me as he had right before the amputation. "I am going to steal your leg," he had said.

Tom Despard has done it again! Emotional Avenues, Feeling How We Work is a sequel and supplement to his groundbreaking book Performance Avenues, Knowing How We Work. In order to more fully understand who we are at work, we need to look at both how we normally think AND how we normally feel. For the first time, we now have a tool to assess our Performance Type - and that of others at work - by intuitively evaluating both our thinking AND our feeling in one comprehensive approach. Assessments and descriptions of work traits and types have traditionally centered much more on thinking than feeling. And yet feeling drives our behavior more or less as much as thinking and more so in quick decision-making. In this excellent new book, Tom Despard tackles a range of questions that modern leaders are just starting to reflect on. Read it and deepen your grasp of what makes for excellence in any organizational context! - Tom Morris, Author of The Oasis Within, True Success, and If Aristotle Ran General Motors, among many other books, Wilmington, NC Tom brings his rich experience as a CEO to an engaging perspective of how emotions impact job performance. His Emotional Avenues model combines with his Performance Avenues model to offer an insightful exploration of how to apply these concepts to the day to day management of people. - Chuck Russell, Chairman & CEO BestWork DATA, Atlanta, GA Tom applies his successful business background and a unique blend of structured thinking and creative writing into Emotional Avenues. I have personally benefited from Performance Avenues. This new book, which speaks to the heart, is another great resource for talent development for individuals, teams and companies. - Bob Kramer, Executive, Trainer and Business Coach, Lancaster, PA If Helen Keller is right that, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart," then Tom Despard is on track. Top performance, in any field, cannot be achieved without first understanding and accessing the power of emotion. - Jon Adams, Lead Pastor, The Vine Community Church, Cumming, GA Tom's work contains an intensity and depth of intellectual stimulation that cannot be captured in a single reading. When readers return to immerse themselves in a chapter or two of this book, they will draw another nugget of wisdom to utilize in their personal interactions with others. - Dave Thompson, Management Consultant, Lancaster, PA Tom Despard is a retired builder and the author of four business books and four poetry collections. He has had a longtime interest in talent development and most recently in how emotions govern our behavior and decision-making at work. He resides in historic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and places in the sunny south with his wife Gayle. www.PerformanceAvenues.com
Ed Gross makes quite a claim, "Disciples Obey," and becomes rude in a Jesus-kind-of-way in his subtitle, "How Christians unknowingly rebel against Jesus." It is fair to say that the American gospel teaches that one can become a Christian, go to heaven and not follow Jesus. We have disconnected obedience from faith, producing a default gospel that is eating the life out of our churches. (Bill Hull - Author of "The Disciple Making Church" & "The Complete Book of Discipleship," etc.) As an Army Infantry Officer, father of five, workplace manager, sports teams' leader & umpire, I always expected those under my supervision to obey me. Ed reminds us, in this timely book, that Jesus is no different. He said, "Those who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me." May you hear from Jesus in this book, and simply OBEY Him so that you can experience, with all His disciples, the powerful presence of the risen Christ in your lives. (Gene McGee - Coordinator of Men's Ministries-CityNetMinistries-Philadelphia, PA) "Like wilderness wandering Israel, tested by God, many congregations in America are led by pastors and comprised of people, quick to complain, easy to compromise, confused by our culture's decay, and cynical about survival into the next generation. The hopelessness and the grief of the Holy Spirit are palpable. And yet the remedy, the transformation, the new dawn is a heartbeat away, and contained in this modest, startling book. In the tradition of the reformers both Catholic and Protestant, Ed Gross presents the clear call of Jesus, "Follow me." His prose is frank, knowledgeable, tested and wise. Most of all, Disciples Obey, is prophetic and therefore saturated with urgency and love. Read this book. And get on with the life, the joy, God wants for you! (Rev. Brewster Hastings, St. Anne's Church, Abington, PA) Edward N. Gross (DMis-Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is Director of the Discipleship Team of CityNet Ministries. Having worked in missions, church planting, pastoral ministry and theological education in the USA and Africa, Ed now leads Renewals of Biblical Discipleship (RBDs) throughout the world. Exciting times in your quiet place with the Lord can transform your life and bring about changes in the right direction. Let me encourage you to make a special place where you can prepare your mind for the Holy Spirit to visit you and to set the stage and tone for your day. Find a quiet corner if that is all you have, or if you're able dedicate a room to Him and decorate it beautifully to honor Him. After all, He is the King and we need to treat Him as such. You will never regret it as He will bring about comfort, power and wisdom that only your Savior knows how to give you. Ask the Lord to create in you a hunger for the things of God so you can say like David (Psalm 84:2) "My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God." My name is Karen R. Hobbs and I am an Adult Survivor of Childhood Sexual Abuse. I was abused by an ordained pastor and teacher at the Christian school I attended. For five years, day in and day out I was molested, raped, etc. When the school was notified, they fired the teacher and said it was an inappropriate consensual relationship with a student. Nothing else was done. He was forty-seven at the time and I was twelve.Thirty years later, I went to the police, I was wired, and made a call to the offender. He confessed to what he did on the call to me and later in an interview with the police. However, to this day, he still does not believe he has done anything wrong. Last Monday, he pled guilty to forcible sodomy and was taken to jail for what will probably be the rest of his life.In the midst of if all, God showed up. I can honestly tell you that I no longer blame God for the abuse and rape in my life. As a matter of fact, I consider it a great honor that God saw me strong enough to endure it. You see, that day I put my faith in God was not a guarantee that my life would be easy and free from pain. Though I am faced with the uncertainty of what lies ahead of me in dealing with the painful memories and feelings of abuse, I know that God is here with me and that when all this is over I will be better equipped as a servant of Jesus Christ. Karen R. Hobbs has more than twenty years of experience working in the counseling field. Her greatest area of expertise is working with children who have experienced sexual trauma. She enjoys helping adolescents and families through cognitive and family therapy. Karen received her Master's degree in Psychological Services/Counseling from Marymount University, 1994, licensed in the State of Virginia as a Professional Counselor in 2001, and obtained her B.S. in Psychology, Counseling, and Biblical studies from Liberty University.(TM) renewingheartsfamilycounseling.com
This book is a true story that looks back on an era that was a pivotal point in America; regarding not only the events leading up to my enlistment in the Women's Army Corps, but depicts some of the main events in the Civil Rights movement in the 1950's and 60's. It is a personal point of view that tells some of the profound experiences that shaped life of a single individual and her family. The journey includes travel, domestic difficulties, children and the struggle to get an education. Through it all, I grew up and learned to know for certain that, "all my help comes from the Lord."
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,"I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." John 8:12 NKJVDevotions that will draw you into the light of Christ.
Many know the story of the Prodigal Son: how one wayward son leaves his father's home and seeks his own fortune only to return as a broken man, welcomed back by a thankful father.Author David Kennedy knows this story personally; try three times personally, as his three sons' journeys in life mirror much of the same principles and experiences as the biblical story. He recounts the difficult times and mistakes made as he and his wife Susan endeavored to raise their sons in a godly manner, and what God taught them in the process, in his new autobiography, A Bad Father. At its core, this book tells the painful story about losing priceless and fragile relationships, and the fight to get them back.Excerpt from Chapter 16: "That afternoon with Paul when I came face to face with all my failures as a father, I was indifferent to living or dying. The relationships with my sons, in whom so much of my identity lay, were already dead. And I had no way to resurrect them."Come walk with the author through a very personal journey of mistakes made, relationships lost, and relationships restored. David Kennedy is a businessman and entrepreneur, as well as a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed real estate broker. David and his wife of 35 years, Susan, have three wonderful sons and live in Colorado Springs. Although all three of their sons now live on their own, they still have two children at home: David's dog, Heidi, and Susan's rat-dog, Shelby.

The book attests that our spiritual birth begins at an intentional decision andviews the resulting being, the Divino Sapien, as a species itself and explains itthrough examining spiritual birth and spiritual growth. Similar to how parentswant to watch their own children grow up and mature, God wants His childrento grow by His Word. What was the Creator''s actual intent with Adam and Eve?Based on what Jesus taught, this is a divine birth inside the Homo sapiens, yielding a divine man or as we will refer to him, Divino Sapien. Following anoutline of the stages of spiritual maturation including newborn, neophyte, phenom, adult, and sage, the author encourages renewed spiritual awakeningand reflection. Seeing physical age as an opportunity for spiritual learning, thebook is written for men, women, and young adults of all ages and levels ofexperience with the Bible''s teachings. The author has developed a process forspiritual maturation that recognizes the divine being inside all of us.
Awaken The Mighty Warrior is a soldier''s manual for the new and mature believer. Many are falling away from the faith, some for reasons that could have been averted. I found many of them just don''t know how to wear their armor or they are wearing it incorrectly. This manual is for some a refresher but for most it will be an eye opening experience on how unprepared so many of the saints are and how to be better prepared. This book will show you how to be bold in the face of the enemy and never retreat. It is a source of encouragement and training that will follow you all the days of your life and cause you to live a life of victory and not victimization.  Scotti Biscossi, AAS, BS, RDH - Born, raised and saved in the Assemblies of God, over the years I have been involved in volunteering in groups of evangelism, in performing and creating plays and musicals for the Glory of God and now an author. I was in the military (USMC) and have been a dental hygienist for the past 19 years. I am married to a Pastor, Donnivan who is my gift from God and inspires and encourages me to do what God has laid on my heart. As we counsel so many people these days, we found this common thread "they are unprepared" hence this book was written. I know when I am gone this book will continue on not just for you but for the whole world.

Take Another Step ...Our answers often require a higher perspective. So take another step with me. I am weary too. Lift your right foot, then your left foot, and then your right foot again. The view is not only beautiful at the top, it is magnificent. JESUS overcame this world, John 16:33. He took back all that was lost. We sit at the majesty of the right hand of God, in Christ JESUS. Sometimes I don''t feel like it either, but feelings are part of the flesh, as are the memories of wounds that rise up, trying to pull us back down to "what" we were before, and "where" we were before. Don''t let them. You are a new creation in Christ. Born from above, no longer of this world. You now wear the signet ring, and we are in union with the creator of the Heavens and the Earth. You are accepted in the Beloved, Ephesians 1:6.If the view wasn''t beautiful and magnificent at the top, the devil wouldn''t fight so hard to pull us down. And if God our Father didn''t have good things in store for us, the enemy wouldn''t try so hard to talk us out of our victory. We have a victory to look forward to for all of eternity, but Paul wrote in Romans 5:17, "We were made to reign in [this] life through the one, JESUS Christ." This verse also says we were given an abundance of Grace. This is not a future reality, but a very present help right here on Earth.Paul often wrote, "encourage one another, build each other up." Let someone in your life know how wonderful they are, and how much you appreciate what they are doing. Stop and celebrate your own accomplishments. God has not abandoned the dreams He has placed in your heart and the calling He has placed on your life. You still have mighty purpose in Him. He has not abandoned your children, your spouse, or those closest to you that He called you to love and to live life with...Take another step, and another, and another. Keep going, and know that the Lord is helping at every turn. With His help, it gets easier, and the view more glorious with every step. When God Holds Your Heart By BJ Hostetter©2015A devotional from Womenandthechurch.com
