Chung Ling does not let detractors divert his attention or undermine his determination to achieve his goals even though his family circumstances are bleak. "THE LIFE JOURNEY of A SOUL" is about the author starting from his birth on the Feast of the Transfiguration of Christ, a clue of what was to come.At the age of 8, while spending a year in an orphanage, he hears his first calling to be a servant of Christ. I spent a short time in Viet Nam during the war, where I became sick and was sent back to the states. It was determined years later I had been exposed to Agent Orange, which explains the serious health issues that developed.Later, after I was discharged from the service, I met a young nurse and we eventually got married. We had twin daughters just after our third anniversary.  The marriage lasted eleven years and was eventually annulled by the church.While working in Germany for the Army, as an RN, I visited the Church of the Fourteen Saints. While praying I heard the voice of Our Blessed Mother, for the first time, asking me to start a religious order.After many years of delay, I finally started The Franciscan Friars of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Once he felt called to preach at thirteen, the struggles continued as he questioned his identity as a man, endured rejection from the church and became a teenage father. However, Dr. Gee depended on God to get through and remain in his calling to preach Jesus’ love and redemption to others.
