The Reverend Dr. Kenneth Q. James is a native of New York City. He is the second son of three children born to the late Earl M. and the late Joan E. James. Reverend James was educated in the New York City public schools, is a graduate of Clinton Junior College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina, from which he graduated in 1980 with honors; and Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina, from which he graduated in 1984, and earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury in May, 2006.Dr. James was ordained by the late Bishop Herbert Bell Shaw in 1978, and was ordained an Elder in the A.M.E. Zion Church by the late Bishop Ruben L. Speaks in 1984. He has served churches in North Carolina and New York, currently as pastor of Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Rochester, New York. Dr. James is the Director of Evangelism for the Western New York Annual Conference, Secretary of the Western New York Annual Conference, and serves as a member of the Faith and Order Commission of the AME Zion Church, and representative to the National Council of Church for the AME Zion Church. Dr. James is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Preaching at Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. Dr. James is the author of several books, including Go Crazy, Just Don't Expect Me to Go With You. Dr. James has one son, Frank, two granddaughters, A'Jaya and A'Janae, and one grandson, Nehemiah Quinton.

I am a widow of 15 years. I have traveled here in the United States and Israel. I have been a part of bible studies and conferences and have helped minister to people at some of these meetings. Dr. Frank L. Lanza received his medical degree and a master's degree in biochemistry from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas/M.D. Anderson Hospital Cancer Center in Houston Texas. He remained on the staff of M.D. Anderson for four years and then entered fulltime private practice. He was appointed to the clinical faculty at Baylor College of Medicine in 1972 and is currently Professor of Medicine in the section of Gastroenterology of the Department of Medicine at Baylor. He is a past president of both The American College of Gastroenterology and The Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. He is a recipient of the highest awards for service from both societies. He founded the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Laboratory at the Harris County Ben Taub General Hospital for the teaching service of The Baylor College of Medicine and remains currently active in that program. In addition to his teaching and practice roles, Dr. Lanza has been active in clinical research, publishing over 100 scientific papers in peer reviewed medical journals covering various subjects, but is best known for his extensive work in gastric ulcer disease relating to anti-inflammatory drugs.
