Although I don''t remember dreaming of great adventures, when I married Dick Cadd, I married an adventure.  Because my husband wanted us to be a team, he included me (and our children) in his life of adventures. We did become a team. However, my attitude needed to change, and it wasn''t easy! The right attitude can turn a disaster into an adventure and great memory.  It can turn tragedy into triumph, and even change disappointments into fun and real joy. There are many things in life we can not change, but our attitude is a choice.   This is not a book of "Do, Don''t and How To."  It is stories in my life of adventures, and the remarkable results when, with God''s help, I chose the right attitude. My early life would be considered magical. It was filled with family, friends, fun, love--and ice cream. (My dad owned a creamery, with emphasis on ice cream.) I spent the first 17 years of my life in Idaho with my parents, two brothers, and one sister. I attended Pacific College (now George Fox University) in Oregon. After marriage to Dick Cadd, we lived and worked in Idaho, Oregon, California, and spent 33 years in the Philippines. My most important job was wife to Dick and mother to our five children: Carolyn, Jon, Steve, Yvonne, and LuAnne. I have 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Other jobs have included teaching school, accompanying Dick''s choirs, producing a weekly television show, mission work, talent coordinator for a movie, and assistant in filming documentaries in many countries. At the present time, I am U.S. Vice President of Sword Productions.  I have written two books with my husband, two books on my own, and numerous articles, scripts, devotionals, and newsletters.

This book describes one woman''s journey to and through Madagascar-a journey that took eleven long years, and still remained incomplete. But this is not the journey of a tourist, or of an academic explorer, or even of a curious missionary. This is the journey of Patricia McGregor, a simple, humble American woman whose worldview emerges out of her relationship with God, and her plain life as a wife and mother. As she struggles to find meaning in the simple experiences of life, her journey to Madagascar and her eleven-year stay and service there becomes a deep odyssey into her own restless soul, until she comes to the astonishing discovery that for a Christian the ultimate rest is found in ultimate restlessness!Patricia McGregor, affectionately known as Patsy, has given a very revealing and instructive writing in this book. Unreservedly she pours out the hardships and personal struggles she had to endure while coping with the culture shock and lack of convenience. I understand better now the psychological and material sufferings missionaries must face, and this may explain why at times our requests for expatriate co-workers remain unanswered. I thank Patsy for what she and her family have done for my church in Madagascar and also for this book, which is very easy and exciting to read. His Grace the Most Revd. Rémi J. RabenirinaArchbishop of the Province of the Indian Ocean, and Bishop of Antananarivo, MadagascarCourageous, humble, and faithful; funny and poignant; honest and somehow necessary-Patsy McGregor''s vivid account of her missionary family immersed in Madagascar''s Anglican Church proves a point...McGregor''s patchwork of reflections, letters, and stories builds a powerful theme. The Revd. Jane ButterfieldMission Personnel Director, Episcopal Church of the USAPatsy writes with a disarming honesty of her eventful decade in the difficult but fascinating world of Madagascar. Despite the discouraging beginnings and the endless trials and tribulations, she has emerged from this long journey with a stronger, deeper faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion towards the Malagasy people.P.J. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Bermuda. I am the mother of a wonderful son, an accountant, Bible teacher, soon-to-be counselor and lover of Jesus. Over the years, I have struggled with my identity, relationships, motherhood, low self-esteem, overeating, laziness, fear, doubt, a lack of self-control and other issues. God was able to use each struggle to teach me, transform me and demonstrate his love for me. When I understood my identity as his child and the depth of his love for me my life was changed forever. I once was lost, but through God''s amazing grace I have been found. His grace has brought me through many dangers, toils and snares, relieved my fears and my hope is secure in his Word. This book tells the story of how God transformed me from a lost girl to a woman pursuing him above all. Psalm 63:1 has become my declaration, "You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water." I hope this book is a source of wisdom and encouragement for anyone who finds themselves lost. May you discover and accept the gift of God''s amazing grace, and choose to pursue him above all.

In this book you will find the yoke removing deliverance of tithing and the condemnation of God''s Law, Tithing is of God''s Law, and this book will show you how to live and give under God''s grace, we live now by faith in Jesus and by the principles of sowing and reaping. This book by no means is to degrade the Ministry of Pastors, under the contrary we need to support the Pastors who will receive the truth in this book with a repented and contrite spirit, I am not free from sinning, and I give thanks that we do not live under the law, but that we live covered by God''s grace. And also, I give thanks to God for giving us our new nature that is capable to give the fruit of the Holy Spirit, especially love, God is love. One thing I want to say, that what I wrote in this book was reveled and inspired by the Holy Spirit for our benefit, edification and deliverance from this present deception to take us back to be covered by God''s grace.Thank you for receiving God''s message in this book.At His service and yours.Gilberto Trevino Jr.

Written in September 1978 the manuscript Soaring Heights rested in the bottom of a trunk, only to be awakened on Pentecost 2015 with the words "All the answers you''re looking for are in the manuscript."  From that point on the manuscript began its journey into the world with friends and friends of friends wanting a copy. The reader''s own feelings, emotions and values are brought to light as they sort through their own spiritual and secular experiences and the conflicts ensued which often bring about chaos and confusion in our journey  through life. Soaring Heights helps to bring clarity and hope to a hurting humanity lost in human suffering, to bring them back into trusting themselves and each other, and to let them know that all is not lost - that there is one who loves us beyond human understanding, and that we are His children and He has a purpose for each of us in His divine plan.Soaring Heights is Johnetta Cook''s first endeavor into book publishing. It''s apparent that current times reinforce the belief that we are in the end-times and closer to Christ''s second coming. For author Jerry Reinoehl, our preparation for Christ''s return should be a through knowledge of the Bible, escaping the false teachings of church leaders today. He provides a resource on the book of Revelation for readers in his new book, Revelation Revealed: following a Berean Christian approach of study to avoid current misinterpretations of the Bible and learn what God''s Word says about the seven seals, seven trumpets and seven bowls. Jerry discusses at length the destruction of Babylon, the New Jerusalem and what is revealed in the book of Daniel''s prophecies. Believing in a post-Tribulation, Jerry discloses his findings on the Rapture, the White Throne Judgment and what Christians need to do today to prepare for Jesus. Seek, ask and knock to find out the truth of God''s Word.

  • av Eric a Folds
    207,-

Eric Folds, Ph.D., takes us on an in-depth look at love and relationships. The book by its design is to help us to understand how love is expressed and nurtured in relationships. The work takes a comprehensive but thorough look at the different aspects of love-relationships including passion, compassion, intimacy, commitment, trust, communication, healthy relationships, and much more. We examine the expert opinions of researchers regarding friendships, liking, mate-selection, marriages, common relationship problems and solutions, healthy relationships, and psychological abuse. We review the concept of divine love and we analyze the research of psychologists, neuroscientists, and education experts.   The book probes into relationship skills for all relationships and enables a learner to develop or teach empathy skills and kindness as the antithesis to psychological abuse or bullying behavior. The insight and skills learned can help reduce the prevalence of psychological abuse and trauma in relationships, friendships, schools, churches, families, and the workplace by promoting empathy skills, kindness, and love.  The work teaches socially responsible beliefs and social-emotional skills. The book may also help decrease the risk of suicide, arguments, fighting, and homicide which is often the result of psychological abuse. The goal is to promote prosocial skills for all ages such as conflict resolution, empathy, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and kindness to help individuals and couples grow. The reader will become familiar with some common personality disorders and be able to identify "red flags" or the warning signs which indicate they may be in an abusive relationship. We also examine anomalies such as Stockholm syndrome and the growing problem of bullying in cyberspace, workplaces, marriage, and bullying in schools with proposed solutions.  Eric Folds is the author of Healing for the Soul: An Enigma Unraveled and the bestselling author of Science Discovers God: The Mystery of Quantum Physics and Light, Heaven, Hell, and Near Death Experiences, and God, The Gospel, and Atonement. He is the Pastor of Christian Church of God, Inc. and the founder of Christian University and Theological Seminary. He is passionately involved with helping others and is married to Kimberly Folds. He has two sons Gabriel Folds and Joshua Folds.

This book will inspire you and challenge your traditional thinking with profound biblical insights, and hopefully cause you to live and teach a message of holiness and healing. Join Dan and Rob as they have a candid conversation about ministry essentials.  Dan Bohi is the founder of Becoming Love Ministries Association (BLMA), an international ministry organization bringing revival and transformation to pastors, leaders, and churches of multiple denominations. It feels as though it is Christianity versus Corporate America in the workplace, as the call to be loyal to the company tries to overpower the call to be loyal to Christ first. Author Keith Wright has experienced his share of American corporations, using this knowledge to advise job seekers through his new book, Spiritual Oars for Dark Waters. Shaped as "oars" to navigate job waters, the book discloses how corporations lead today''s culture and being a Christian in the workplace is quite the battle. However, Keith prepares readers for this faith battle with advice on choosing the right company, finding work mentors and using their talents and gifts in the workplace. The main goals are to develop genuine character that reflects Christ and trusting God''s protection against the corporation slings. As readers stay strong in Christ, they will find value in their companies and discover passion for their jobs.

  • av James Boston Bussell
    213

This book is based on the scripture from Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV)  The text illustrates a tapestry of events that will lead the reader to conclude that the author''s entire life was scripted by God from the time of his birth. The instances of God''s divine interventions and series of anomalies will demonstrate that He has used both "good times and bad times" as a means to fulfill His promise to the author. At a time when there are those who question the relevance of Christianity in today''s world, the author delivers relevant and true cases of God''s influences which reveals He is still in charge of His universe. James Boston Bussell was born in Lynch, (Harlan County) Kentucky seventy years ago, the son of an African-American coal miner. At eight years old, following his father''s death by natural causes, the family moved to Knoxville, Tennessee. James has had an amazing life, one that has been driven by principles, integrity, and an unwillingness to compromise his dignity. He credits God for His guiding hands in every aspect of his life, including confronting incidences of hatred, racial prejudice and discrimination.James joined the U. S. Army at age seventeen and served in the Republic of Vietnam from August 1965 to March 1967, where he was award both the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medals for his service. He later enrolled at the University of Tennessee graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Although she had been journaling for many years prior to writing this her first book, Jane Litchmore-Grant would be quick to confess that this autobiography was a labour of grace. Jane is thankful for the lady who visited her home during that stormy day - someone she believes was an angel from the Lord.It All Makes Sense Now is a direct result of that remarkable visit. It chronicles her own journey from childhood to adulthood, recalling how God found her at an early age and has guided her through miracles, God-encounters, challenges and questioning about her purpose in His plan.Born out of an adulterous relationship, she was one of a pair of ''hidden children'' in her father''s family. However, because our heavenly Father specialises in the impossible, He made possible that which seemed impossible through her life of dedication and commitment to Him. A failed suicide attempt sensitised her to ''the voice of God.'' Now she gives all the praise to God. Jane is a teacher by profession and holds a master''s of science degree in psychology. She has served in various capacities in church over the years and alongside her husband in his pastoral ministry for the past 20 years. She is a conference speaker and is passionate about seeing people''s lives transformed by teaching the word of God.

Before God does anything, He calls certain men and women, messengers and watchmen, to go before Him and announce what is going to happen so people have a chance to prepare themselves. The preparation is simple and easy. IT IS JESUS CHRIST.It''s never God''s will or intention for people to suffer and die, however, the bible says, sin has the consequence of DEATH.  God created everything in this world to have a beginning and an end. The end of this world is drawing close. In the days of Noah, God said, He would never destroy this world with a flood again. This time it will be fire. However we are to use the days of Noah, as an example of what we should expect before the end comes. The unchurched are unable to hear from God. Because of God''s love, grace and mercy for man, He sends messengers out to warn the world before something happens. Those that heed the warning are protected. Those that don''t listen suffer. God saw every detail of His creation from beginning to end before the world even materialized. He knows the exact day and time that the rapture of the church must happen to protect His children from destruction. Noah and His sons were God''s messengers before the flood. Today God has given several of His children the same message and told them to go out and warn the world. I am one of God''s messengers and a rapture watchman. The message I have been given to share is "PREPARE TO SEE JESUS FACE TO FACE TODAY", because "READY OR NOT HERE I COME."

This book is semi autobiographical, semi serious, semi comedic but totally legitimate. I have endeavoured to be semi specific and, to the best of my ability, as detailed as possible in most instances, but with discretion so as not to offend anyone wise enough or curious enough to venture into the text. I have also done my best to make the reading light enough as to not bore the reader, but at the same time, detailed enough to keep the reader interested in the outcome. I am still a novice writer and would like to continue with this particular profession; after reading I hope you will be interested enough in future literary offerings. Thanks and happy reading.

I graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, I am a mother of three and a loving grandmother. My mother was a gifted pianist, my father an anointed singer. My writing began at age sixteen. It was my eighth grade English Teacher, who first noticed my writing potential. I had no idea I would be fifty-seven before my first work would actually publish. Many traumatic experiences delayed my dream of finally becoming a writer. God waited patiently for me to mature and grow spiritually. He has since delivered me from snares which blinded and robbed me of many years. I am truly grateful and amazed at what God has done and is doing in my life. I grew up with a love for gospel music, I sang all over the city of Houston, Texas. In nineteen seventy-nine, I organized a gospel quartet and wrote our theme song. I also wrote songs which I sang in church. For a period I felt trapped in a time capsule, and did not believe I would survive past age forty. Week after week, I attended church, but the words went over my head. I used to think, that God''s promises included everyone except me. After traveling many hard and lonely roads, I finally got here''. I write the words by God''s pattern and design. Pastors, Joel and Victoria, have sucessfully built a bridge of confidence in my life. I am still exploring that bridge today. The possibilities are endless, when we put God first! I thank God, for His love, His faithfulness and His grace. God can use every obstacle as an opportunity to draw us closer to Him, and our lives as a tool to help others, when we put our trust in Him.Vanessa D Lister,Author
