This vision happened in 2012 and was totally different from the others. It happened the Sunday before Christmas, the 23rd of December. Every morning I tried to take my dogs Shyla and Cochise outside before 7am. Most of the time Shyla wouldn''t leave the patio unless I came out with her and walked in the yard. I took the dogs outside, and just before we stepped off the patio, toward the left side a figure appeared and the dogs ran towards it. The dogs stopped in the exact spot where the figure was. They couldn''t see it any longer, but I could.

All of us face hard times. Sometimes they are big fiery trials, and sometimes they are embers that burn slowly and continuously. Most believers know, at least intellectually, that God is faithful regardless of our situations.  But if we admit the reality of our understanding, we wonder why a good God would allow these adversities in our lives.  Anne Trippe wrote The Purpose of Trials and Adversity after years of counseling hurting individuals and couples and after facing in her own life the usual adversities that come from living in the world. In this book, Anne shows how God''s very calling for us is woven into and worked out of the the trials we face.  Truths in The Purpose of Trials and Adversity include living from one''s identity in Christ and His indwelling power in the face of our hard times.  The importance of being transformed by the renewing of one''s mind  to the attitude of Christ as we face those situations is emphasized.   Setting one''s mind on things above is explained. Illustrations are given of what this might "look-like" in the context of our trials and adversities. The reasoning of the world system vs the mind-set of Christ as we walk through trials is addressed. God''s awesome purposes for us as we persevere through hard times are revealed. Dr. Anne Trippe a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor, was on Staff at First Baptist Church Atlanta for 21 years. In addition to The Purpose of Trials and Adversity, Anne wrote Marriage! The Journey and Old Beliefs vs New Beliefs. Both were written  for individuals and couples. They are also used to facilitate small groups and in counseling. Anne also authored A Model For Marriage Counseling and developed conference and course materials, Understanding Your Journey to Freedom and Understanding Your Journey to Freedom in Marriage.

When a loved one dies, grief quickly comes for the family left behind. However, what if one could imagine what his/her loved one is experiencing: what Heaven looks like? Author Gerry Klassen wrote his scriptural version of heaven, through fictional letters from heaven from his mother, in his new book, My Mom''s Letters from Heaven. The second book in this series, Gerry presents letters from mother to son about Anne''s time in Heaven, talking to Jesus and becoming a reporter for Heaven''s The Beulah Land Times. By being a reporter, Anne has the opportunity to interview biblical figures, such as Moses, Solomon and even Michael the archangel. Anne also recounts, in her letters, learning about gifts from God and the events of the end-times and tribulation. The book is not only a celebration of what awaits believers in Heaven, but a moving tribute of a son''s love for his mother.

  • - Growing Up
    av Daniel C Jessen
    240,-

Adolescence is a time during which children have the opportunity to grow into adulthood. In the Western world, responsible adulthood implies becoming independent. In the rest of the world, responsible adulthood implies becoming interdependent. In either case, the Christian family and community have the opportunity and duty to guide adolescents into Christian womanhood and manhood, often assisted by youthworkers. Both Biblical and cultural paths are explored as strategies for guiding adolescents in culturally-appropriate youth ministry practices. The Rev. Daniel C. Jessen (B.A., M.A., M.Div., Ed. D.) is a semi-retired American missionary serving with Ripe for Harvest World Outreach. For sixteen years, he was a professor of family and youth ministry at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Hamilton, MA, Boston, MA and Charlotte, NC). Other academic experience includes professorial roles at Northern Illinois University and Wheaton College Graduate School, as well as seminary-level lecturing in Armenia, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, the Philippines and Singapore. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Jessen was active in youth ministry for thirteen years as a writer, editor and curriculum specialist with Christian Service Brigade (USA.)."Dr. Dan," as he is often called, has seen youth ministry around the world as he and his wife, Nancy, have ministered globally in forty-one countries on six continents. Additionally, he has experienced American-style youth ministry at close range from the perspectives of leader, Bible teacher, camp director, discipler, writer/editor, leadership trainer, parent and grandparent.

Free to Walk in Faith is Denise Christine Simon Gorman''s first endeavor in the world of inspirational writing. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, she and her husband have made their home in Dayton since 1980, where they raised their three sons to adulthood. She volunteers in her parish''s bereavement ministry and the Corner Cupboard Thrift Store, and she is a member of the Dayton Catholic Women''s Club. She describes both universal experiences that many will relate to, as well as a short visit to heaven and conversation with Jesus that readers will find thought-provoking and inspiring. This miraculous experience changed Wanda and her family forever, and God has asked her to share it with you. Wanda Kawadza moved to Botswana in 2002-not realizing what life-changing experiences waited for her there. This would be the setting of Wanda''s most physically, emotionally, and spiritually challenging test of her life. Wanda''s life and living have been governed by her Christian faith. With an upcoming employment review, Wanda knew that God had provided her the job and believed that He would secure it for her. Wanda''s faith is the source of her courage and strength to overcome whatever challenges come her way.  On February 14th, 2004, Wanda was clutching her Bible, now torn and marked with her own blood. She had been thrown from the twin cab pickup truck she had boarded to take her home, and now was helpless and unconsciousness along the road.

Many people, believers and unbelievers alike, have expended much energy in discerning and combating the wicked one and his wickedness. Unfortunately, they have been programmed to ignore the means by which he carries out his deadly acts. Knowledge of the wicked and his wickedness is not enough. More important is recognizing and understanding his wicked means and destroying them! Only then is he rendered powerless, and only then is his wickedness brought down. This practical manual is designed to help believers prevail in every engagement with the wicked ones. The ways in which their leader delegates his evil power are exposed in its pages. So are the legal grounds we inadvertently yield, giving him advantage before he strikes. The weapons of the believer''s warfare are also revealed, and Holy-Spirit-inspired prayer guides are provided to destroy the means of the wicked. I strongly believe that anyone who reads this book and applies the wisdom of God it contains shall be victorious. Amen! Joshua Temitayo Obigbesan is the Senior Pastor of Christ Liberty Restoration Ministries, located in Aurora, Colorado, USA. Surrender is not necessarily a religious topic or word. It can be used in many other fields. However, whenever it is used, it virtually implies the ideas of "give away" and "control." Unlike how many perceive it, "Surrender to God" is not first what we ought to give to God but what he has given to us. In other words it is not first a believer's obligation but a God-given's opportunity for his people to experience him uninterruptedly. To apprehend it otherwise will surely lead us to an uneasy and burdensome journey with God. In addition surrender must be lethal to our selfish desires but it is a safe haven where we rest, grow and thrive in our walk with God. Nothing can guarantee us the experience of the full provision of God compare to the way surrender does it. In this book you will learn - How to biblically understand the topic of surrender - The 7 dimensions of a surrendered life to God - How to properly intertwine our Christian duties with God's Sovereignty in the process of surrender - The 6 Ps that relate to the guaranteed results of a surrendered life - And many more ...

"God the Father is calling us to intercede in prayer and fulfill our assignments to remove ungodly people in the leadership positions of the nations, and decree and declare godly people will move into all areas of our government and governments throughout the world. We need to pray, "Your will be done, Father." We need to bring prayer back into our schools and our government assemblies and turn this country back to God''s original intent. We need to begin to take back the seven mountains of influence that have been perverted and moved away from the Father''s original intent for His people. We need to fight the good fight of faith and stand for what God says is truth. As you read through the pages of this book, fasten your seat belt because your heavenly Father is reaching out to you with love from above using my experiences to catch your attention. Everyone, at some point, has dealt with negativity and criticism. Criticism is wreaking havoc in marriages, relationships and society. It is vital to understand the spirit of criticism, how it operates and the fruit it produces. In this book, Pastor James A. McMenis thoughtfully emphasizes just how dangerous a critical spirit can be when it spirals into anger and resentment. God gave us His Word so that we would know the right way to deal with each other. He wants us to live in unity and joy with one another, not in denigration. Critical Condition addresses the many facets of criticism: • Recognizing critical thoughts and behavior• Checking your pride-the root to criticism• Avoiding jealousy• Evaluating the inferiority complex• Giving successful constructive criticism• Choosing to build bridges toward God for those on the wrong path instead of isolating themIf you have experienced criticism, or find yourself constantly criticizing others, it''s time to be made free! This is a book meant to help you learn how to recognize and deal with a critical spirit using the Word of God. By understanding both the cause and the cure of an overly critical mindset, you can avoid falling into the trap that is the critical condition. James A. McMenis is the senior pastor of Word of God Ministries. He founded the ministry as a weekly Bible study at the age of 22. Through the local assembly, television broadcasts, and conferences, he has dedicated his life to "Preaching Jesus as the Manifested Word of God!" He is known for teaching God''s Word in a powerful, fresh, and revelatory manner that always leads to Jesus. Through his sincere, engaging and humorous delivery, he captures a very diverse audience. Pastor James resides in Louisiana with his wife and four children.

The life and times of Biblical personalities and events have left some gaps and questions between the parentheses. Why was David''s mother never mentioned in scripture? Why was Joseph, Mary''s husband, never mentioned in scripture after finding Jesus in the Temple talking to the elders at age twelve? Why wasn''t he at the cross with Mary? The scripture refers to Jesus'' four half-brothers and sisters. What was the home life like growing up? What was the childhood of John the Baptist like? He was Jesus'' cousin. Was Judas'' betrayal misunderstood. Was he just attempting to force Jesus to proclaim Himself the true King of the Jews after being presented to the High Priest and Pilot? The author offers some interesting suggestions and insights as to the possibilities of what might answer these, and other questions. Gene Hallmark earned his degree in Theology in 1970. He felt his calling was to establish a local church and pass along the passion he had for the practicality of Christian living. He served as choir director, assistant pastor, and taught classes on Christian fiscal responsibility, still working in the business world to support his family. He assumed the pastorate of a small church in Connecticut in 1976. His calling became clearer over the next few years and he found himself serving God in the business community on a full time basis. Sponsoring a number of successful business ventures for others, he has also founded two small corporations and shares another one with his wife. Father of two and grandfather of five he has lived in Florida for the last thirty years. His passion for the practicality of spirituality continues to be a blessing to many of his clients, business associates friends and family.

Growing up was all that Timothy Wiseman aspired to do beginning at age five after encountering obstacles that would eventually dictate how his life would unfold. He strived to grow up so that he would no longer have to suffer from being bullied, a lack of support, all of the rules placed upon him, and the constant ridicule he received from being a part of the Ganes family. As he strived to obtain what seemed to be an unattainable goal as a result of the constant obstacles sent his way, he became bitter inside and treated everyone and thing that tried to lord over him as an unwanted weight he had to remove by any means necessary. He grew to become rebellious, unruly and destined for destruction until he encountered a force in Yeshua (Christ Jesus) whom he was unable to move. After realizing Yeshua was the best force to be subjected to, he submitted his life to Him. Yeshua in turn taught him the true meaning of growing up was overcoming obstacles that tried to hinder him from choosing Life... Cory Cabri, an ordained minister of the gospel was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He currently lives in Houston, Texas working for a major oil and gas company in a mechanical design engineering role. He obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

This book is called Ironclad Clay Part II, "Melody and Me- Our Song" I actually got to the last chapter of my first book, Ironclad Clay Part I which was going to be Chapter 12, and I decided to make it a completely separate book and it is now Part II. I wrote the first book in a biblical numerology form and it is a spiritually progressive study with 11 chapters. The Number Twelve is the number of government or order. God has a way of ordering things in our lives even when it seems to be chaos if we will but trust and obey. I have been able to convey many spiritual life lessons in it. The story encompasses our life from the first day my wife (Melody) and I met, then the rest of our story about love, marriage, and ministry up to our final goodbye in her passing away. It was by far our longest chapter when it was finally finished, as we said before, it turned into another book. But I hope it will help to heal and restore many who have been hurt in life''s battles through God''s Holy Spirit and these life accounts. The Lord burdened my heart to subtitle the sections as "scenes" instead of chapters. Before it is over we have 70 scenes. Imagine that? God bless you and I hope it will make you laugh and maybe tear up just a little. Also visit us on our website at www.junipertreepublishers.com

This book examines and dialogues with six major ideologies which threaten faithful Christian doctrine and practice. While some appear subtly synchronistic, and others blatantly anti-Christian, each ideology is personified and engaged with a fictional character to demonstrate how these beliefs impact and interact with the faith of our fathers. At this rate, The Black Church will soon spiral down into non-effectiveness by the infiltration of corrosive beliefs embodied by Shana - The Pluralistic "Christian", Curtis - The Black Hebrew-Israelite (Remixed), Ashanti - The Follower of the Religions of Kemet, Deshawn - The Black Atheist, Orlando - The Afro-American Eastern Mystic, and Pierre - The Black Polytheist. Defender of the true faith, the aged Pastor, Reverend Jenkins, is no longer able to contend with these "knights of the Round Table." Thus, he has employed the services of Armand and Laws to equip today''s Christian.
