Everyone has questions about the Bible, resulting in uncertainties about salvation through Jesus and whom exactly Jesus Christ is, if left unanswered. However, some that call themselves Christians have become nominal Christians, not seeking to discern the Bible and answer their questions. Author Milton Jones recalls being in the same mindset, until he made the effort to explore the Bible and discovered real answers to his questions. He shares his findings in his book, What Jesus the Christ DID Teach, embodying a verse-byverse Bible study on the Gospel of John. Realizing how easily people can be led wrong by the Church about Jesus, salvation and a real relationship with God, he presents a question-and-answer study to discern the Bible''s truths and show how Christians should live in this world. Escaping the nominal Christian mentality, Milton wants readers to discover God''s Word for themselves and find answers to life-changing questions.
Austin did not want to move from New York to a small town in Iowa. The farm was boring. There was no neighborhood kids to play with. He missed his best friend back in New York. One rainy day Austin was sulking in his bedroom when he noticed a loose floor board. He goes over, pulls and the board comes up easily. Reaching way back in his first gers touch something and he slowly pulls it out. It is a match box . He pulls the draw open. All folded up is a old yellow price of paper. He carefully unfolds it. As he reads it a shiver runs down his back. He reads it out loud: WE ARE SORRY WE  KILLED OLD JACK. TROY HELPED ME BURY HIM BEHIND THE BARN BY THE OAK TREE. Signed A.H. This sends Austin and his new found friend, Cody on a scary journey to solve the mystery of who killed Jack and who was Jack.
The Christian nonfiction book reveals the truth about Ellen G. White and her writings for the Seventh Day Adventist Church. After working with the church and attending Bible studies with members, the author and his wife discovered troubling inconsistencies between the Bible and the teachings of the Seventh Day Adventist Church''s leader. He found that she lied and plagiarized in her writings in an attempt to brainwash her followers. The non-biblical church is a false, bogus church that should not be spreading its propaganda, mind bending, and delusion. The church uses their false prophetess''s writings and teachings as the final word instead of the Bible. Many pastors will not admit to relying on her writing, but they lean on Ellen G. White''s literature to teach their religion and their beliefs. The author discusses Ellen G. White''s fake visions, fictional writing, imposed rules, doctrinal beliefs, the Seventh Day Adventist''s twenty-eight fundamental beliefs, the mark of the beast, Ellen G. White''s contradictions, William Miller and his followers. This writing on the Personhood of the Holy Spirit: A Simplified Approach to Understanding the Holy Spirit, by Dr. Aleck A. Brown is without question a scholarly work. You will find in it a vast array of theological content and information on the Holy Spirit, His attributes, symbols, work, and His role in the church. Writing on the topic of the Third Person of the Trinity is quite a difficult task. The Biblical content about Him is numerous and scattered throughout the pages of the Old and the New Testaments. It takes a skilled writer to organize the enormity of the data about the Holy Spirit, and then place it in a clear and concise, systematic format for readers to digest. Making information that is typically studied on a graduate level, digestible for the normal lay reader can be an arduous task. However, Dr. Brown has masterfully developed a simplified approach to a rather complex subject. He''s invited readers to glean from its pages increased knowledge into the Holy Spirit and the role He plays in their lives. This book delivers a clear, precise treatment of the Holy Spirit, and places His ministry in the correct order in the lives of believers. It begins with needful background information on the Spirit, and then delves down into the specific details of how He works and the unique role that He plays in a believer''s salvation and life experience. All reference works in this writing are well-cited, and it is evident that Dr. Brown has spent critical and extended hours in research, study, and preparation before presenting this material.
Have you ever wondered why some people are affected with tragedy over and over while others seem to escape suffering? Why is God good to some people while others experience trials, often through no fault of their own? In January 2015 I asked God that question. 2014 had been our best year ever. My husband and I felt like we had been on a year-long honeymoon. Life couldn''t be any better. But for so many others that was not the case. My heart ached for my friends who were hurting. Was I just "special" to God?  I worked hard to do right so I would please Him. Was that why He was good to me?This book takes you on my year and a half long journey searching for an answer to my prayer. When Satan thought he could use a tragedy in my life to turn me away from God, God used it to teach me more about Himself. If you are going through a tough time in your life and feel helpless and don''t know which way to turn, I challenge you to learn from lessons the Lord taught me and you will find we have a good God all the time, no matter what the trial is. He has become my EVERYTHING! ABOUT THE AUTHORNan Weaver was married to her husband for 46 years and a mother of four children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Her background is working in the political world but after the untimely death of her husband, her passion has turned to leading workshops for people going through the grief process so that their grief can be turned to joy.
You say I have to pay tithes; are you then saying Christ Jesus did not pay the price for my sins?If you say I have to pay my tithes, then you are saying Christ Jesus did not pay the price for your sins. You are saying Christ did not finish his work on the cross for your sins.  You are calling God a lie, and Christ did not finish his work on the cross because there is something you have to do to help Christ to bring salvation into your life."And I looked, and there was none to help; I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it up held me. "Isaiah 63:5This verse tells you no one was there to help Christ to bring salvation into your life. There is nowhere in the Bible where Christ gave his people a command to pay, or give tithes. Jesus never taught his people to pay tithes. Jesus said in his word none of you keep the law. This is why God said, "You are curse with a curse.""For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, cursed is everyone that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. "Galatians 3:10This verse says that they do part of the law and not all of the laws are cursed. So if you do part of the tithes law and not all of the tithe law then you are cursed.
God has a plan for you. He laid it out long before you existed. This plan is marvelous, exciting and designed just for you. There will be challenges getting there but you can be assured that the endpoint is great! He will take you along this journey to get there through a series of faith and maturity levels designed by God to show you how He uniquely made you. We all go through them. We all take similar journeys of faith and maturity but with unique endpoints. The journey and endpoint are so much more important than you can ask or imagine. Getting your life to the point God has planned for you is exciting and important but it is actually more important than about anything we will experience in this life. And it all starts when we make a conscience effort to hear from God and take control of our finances.John offers unique perspectives that will enhance every reader''s view of themselves, God, money and how they are all interconnected with eternal implications. - J. Schneider, Cincinnati, OHThe insights provided in the book gave me the reassurance I needed to clarify my financial goals and move confidently in the direction of my "new" dreams. Now, a successful business owner, I am no longer fearful of handling my finances (or my life) post divorce. - V. Willis, Cincinnati, OH
Let''s be honest. Everyone likes to save money, but most of us spend it as soon as we earn it. It''s second nature. Sadly, this is how many wind up in bottomless debt, using every cent they make to pay back the government. But there''s an alternative. You''d be surprised how rewarding a task saving money can be. No matter what your financial goal is, be it a new car, that first house, or rainy day funds, implementing these strategies will help you free up sone of that spending cash for the important things in life.
Did you know that there is strong scientific evidence that the earth is only 6,000-10,000 years old? The author takes on the challenge of researching what are sometimes called the "Icons of Evolution". They are called icons because they are listed in many school textbooks as the best evidence for Naturalistic Evolution. You will learn the current evidence on: Big BangMiller-Urey ExperimentNatural SelectionDNA SimilaritiesFossil RecordGeologic Time LineEvidence of DinosaursLucyPeppered MothsHaeckel''s EmbryosHomologyMany other topics Brian DeMars has researched the evidence put forth by Darwin and subsequent scientists and found that much of it is clearly lacking in solid scientific support. In fact, many of the pieces of evidence for Naturalistic Evolution are based on the philosophy that there is no God or purposive force and so must be explained in a purely naturalistic realm.DeMars is sharing his research of the pieces of evidence as a fellow learner. He does not have any advanced science degrees and so is able to explain the principles in ways that we all can understand. Since the nature of the book is a survey, the author has included QR codes throughout the chapters so that the reader can dig deeper into areas that particularly interest them.If you are confused about the whole topic of the source of our origins, this book will help you to begin to get a handle on the topic. The bottom line is that the unchanging Word of God has much to tell us about how we, and everything around us, came about. He was a professor of Kinesiology at Fresno Pacific University from 1999-2013.  www.youngearthcreation.com
This book is collection of poems from the Arielle Project. The Arielle Project is a compendium of poems written for my daughter, Arielle. It intended as a lifetime gift, a memento of faith. Poems inspired by each and every chapter of the Bible are included in the completed Arielle Project. Only the poems from five books and a few stand alone poems are included herein.A saying attributed to Nathan Of Bratslav motivated me to share with others:" if one could write a book and didn''t it was like one could have a child and didn''t ". It is in that light I share with you a portion of my larger work with you. I trust it will be good to you. It is meant to lead you to search deeper into the Bible and other related sources.Dan Delger is a sixty seven year old man loving in Northwest Ohio. He had a beautiful, Christian singer wife, a home, two pets and a decent living through multiple incomes. However, a violent altercation with his wife transformed author Ralph Duncan''s life in drastic ways, which he recounts in his new autobiography, Have You Had Your Job in the Bible Experience Yet? Born in Kentucky and with a childhood on a farm, Ralph learned the importance of work and love through his stepfather and mother. However, not being raised in a Christian household and wondering what became of his absent father led to a disjointed path for his growing knowledge of God. Fast forward to 2014 and his trip to jail for domestic violence: even with the difficult trials he faced, Ralph began to see God''s part in his life through a Job in the Bible experience, revealing to him what needed to change and relying on God for support and understanding.

Looking at the church through the metaphor of a human body, this book presents love in the church as blood in the human body. The book suggests that just as a blood test can tell a lot about human health, an analysis of the love in a church will reveal how healthy a church is. By learning vital lessons from human anatomy and physiology and the inevitable process of death, the book proves that“Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” (1 Corinthians 13:8)By reading this book, you will also understand that, of all the virtues and spiritual gifts in the church, Love, the Word and Holiness are the only things that will survive the chilling hands of death and still be useful in eternity.Joseph Agbo grew up as the son of a minister in an orthodox church, got born again in a pentecostal church and later became a minister himself. His quest for true love in the church has taken him through many ministries and churches. As a result, he has been privileged to serve in different departments and commitees of the church, such as, men's fellowship leader, young adult minister, youth minister, Sunday school teacher, evangelism/mission director, elders board, choir, building committee, executive council, Audio/Visual director, Web and publication team, intercessory team, welfare and Finance department. His love for reading and writing Christian literature has enabled him to participate in writing daily devotionals and gospel tracts. Pastor Agbo is married to Folake and has two daughters, Virtuous and Huldah, and a son Godfing. He is currently the pastor of his local assembly where he has served for more than 10 years.

The God Who Grieves is a sermon series that I preached in the latter part of 2012.  Since I use a manuscript when preaching, I have chosen to publish these manuscripts with a minimum of editing.  In this sermon series, I look at how God presents Himself, in the Bible, as a grieving God.  While this is oxymoronic to most Christians, because they have never considered God''s emotions as really being emotions, these sermons will help you see God through a different lens.  Although His ways and feelings may be as high above ours as the heavens are above the earth, they are indeed still ways and feelings.  You will see that it is God''s grief that allows Him to move from pain and weeping to forgiveness and compassion.Bishop F. Small Town Roads is kind, gentle, poetic, but grippingly bittersweet in the meeting and meshing of the times and values of two distinctly different - but so much the same - women in a small American town. L.B. Johnson is a writer to watch for tomorrow, but she is also someone to enjoy today".- John L. MooreAward-winning novelist and journalist, author of The Breaking of Ezra Riley and other novels. "In the tradition of Kent Haruf's bestselling Plainsong, L.B. Johnson has written a lyrical, meditative story that acknowledges the dangers and comforts of our world. Small Town Roads is a loving story about an old, slow place where the terrible loneliness of grief eases because ordinary people decide to be community."- Katie AndraskiAuthor of The River Caught SunlightSmall Town Roads, the latest novel by award-winning Author L.B. Johnson, accurately depicts the feeling of small town life, where neighbors know each others' names and become friends for a lifetime. Evelyn Ahlgren, a widow, and retired schoolteacher enjoys the comforts of her little home and her surrounding neighborhood. That's why she is intrigued to see what her new neighbor, a young woman named Rachel Raines, will add to their small town. Rachel has just left the city with a Criminal Justice degree. She had thought she wanted a carefree city life, not a job as a rookie cop in a town whose only restaurant has a life-sized plastic cow on the roof. Sometimes God has other plans for us. Evelyn befriends her young neighbor, finding out she has endured a lot of grief for one so young, that sorrow taking her on a directionless path instead of one lit by the Holy Spirit. As heart-breaking as that is to see, Evelyn believes that God brought the two together to find renewed purposes in His Will, and the two begin an unlikely friendship that surpasses age, knowledge, and life experiences. When Rachel is caught up in an unexpected act of violence while out on patrol, her whole life changes, as does her look at her future and her faith. Small Town Roads effortlessly captures the unique perspective that small towns bestow on those who live there. Mrs. Johnson shows that the confines of a small town can contain a healing spirit that can soothe the difficulties of the past while providing hope in God for tomorrow's future. L. B. Johnson is a former commercial pilot currently working in federal service after obtaining her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. She lives in Chicago, IL with her engineer husband and rescue black Lab.

"How do you make the transition from bullets and blood on the battlefieldto supermarkets, sidewalks, and Sunday school?"-- Kenny HarringtonWithin these pages is a very personal story of the face of PTSD as seen in the life of a WWII Marine veteran. The book is a sensitive and anguishing unveiling of a soldier returning home from combat, and his personal struggle adjusting to the routines of everyday living. The writing is an effort to show how PTSD, when untreated, leaves its indelible mark on one soldier and his family. My father was a wounded veteran who encountered an unsuspecting enemy when he arrived back on American soil. This was an enemy like none he had confronted on the battlefield, an invisible enemy that tore at his soul. I hope my experience, as the son of that wounded warrior, will provide encouragement and direction to those who may be struggling with the very real and painful injury of PTSD.Endorsement As a Viet Nam Veteran, who served with 1st Marine Division, and suffered the effects of untreated PTSD for over thirty years, I found "PTSD UNTREATED-One Family's Story" to be a valuable tool that brings understanding and healing. It comes with a fresh perspective that brings clarity to the one suffering with PTSD, as well as the effect it has on those in relationship with them. Most importantly, the book delivers hope and action steps toward healing.Phil CarneySenior Pastor, Pendleton First, Pendleton, Oregon

This is an exciting book that teaches you lessons of the Bible that the majority of the church does not teach because they don't know how to teach this. Learn how to use your God given authority as Jesus tells inLuke 10:19 This book will show you how to live in good health by changing your thinking that will change the words that you speak. You will learn to speak life into yourself and into your family that leads most Christians into better health, better finances, better life as Jesus tells us when He came to this earth to provide to us the abundant life, John 10:10Why are you going into the church sick and coming out sick? Why are you going into the church diseased and coming out diseased? Why are you going into the church hurt and coming out hurt. If your asking or saying any of these things then your in the wrong church. Jesus tells us in Mark 16:17 that we will know the true church by the signs and wonders that are following the true believersof Jesus. This book will teach you about generational curses and how to remove them through prayers provided for you and your family. You will learn how to remove the rights that demonic forces have had on you and your family members through prayers provided. Jesus told us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, Ephesians 6:12 So why am I fighting flesh and blood and not the demonic spirits around me? Jesus tells us that It's the devil that comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, John 10:10William Ricks Author

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 12.0px Times} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 12.0px Times; min-height: 14.0px} Have you ever wonder what happened to the chosen people of God? Or have you ever thought about why are there so many denominations? Well this is the book that answers those questions and many more. This is the unadulterated version of the truth. That will open our eyes to the deception of man to deceive the Christian faith. Father Yahweh has given me this revelation to inspire His people to hold on and continue to keep the faith. This book was written to enlighten His people, which are the Israelites along with the gentiles who believe in the God of the Hebrews. To obey His commandments and do His will. I would love to see all people get along, but I know that would be impossible. But if we truly love Father Yahweh, we will strive to make Him happy. We need to learn Father Yahweh word for ourselves and not what someone else perceive His word to mean. The Black race needs to recognize that they are God chosen people and start to obey His word. We learned in Deuteronomy the blessing's and curses that was put on the Israelites. These particular curses that was put on the Israelites only fit the Black race. The Black race has been deceived since slavery of who they are and their connection to God Yahweh. Father Yahweh has enlightened myself to write this book in order to reach many believers who are confused about God Yahweh and His son Yahshua. I wish that the Christian community would tear down the walls of denominations and come together as one people of God. I believe if there's only one true God than there should only be one denomination and that should be Christians. We need to stop allowing the government to control our relationship with God. Every person has a special calling on God. It's up to each individual to learn their calling and strive to fulfill their mission from God. And no matter what comes to distract us from reaching our goal we should keep the faith and continue the journey.
