I am Jim Clark. I attended Tuskegee University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. I then attended the University of Pennsylvania where I studied to become a Registered Physical Therapist. For 50 years I worked in the Los Angeles California area treating patients who had Strokes, Spastic Cerebral Palsy, and various other medical problems. For several years I worked with Spastic Cerebral Palsy children and noted that the children were not progressing employing routine range of motion and strengthening exercises as I was taught in college. For several years I toyed with several ideas I felt might work to improve the conditions of the children. Nothing at first worked. Then finally one day I came to the conclusion that the myotatic stretch reflex was the main causative factor behind the children''s problem. After employing specific stretching exercises to the trunk and hips I began to observe that the children ascended the developmental scale in more a positive manner. A child was observed flat on his back and unable to roll or sit. In the passing of a number months, the child was able to roll over onto his abdomen, extend his neck, and push up using his arms.Principles employed treating the Spastic Cerebral child was applied to treating stroke patients.Reading and studying the procedures presented in this book you will better understand and become more proficient assisting patients to attain higher functional levels.

He heard it while participating in his camp-counseling job at age sixteen: "I am coming soon". Seeing no one was around him, author Franklyn Spence believed he had heard God''s voice. More instances of God speaking to him, even through a vision of Jesus, left him overwhelmed spiritually and aware of his gifts for prophecy and healing. He recalls these faith-defining moments in his Christian testimony/self-help guide, Breakthrough into the Supernatural Realm. Growing up in his church, Franklyn remembers being taught God was distant, accessible only for special occasions. However, the God Franklyn experienced at camp was real, intimate and calling him to an impossible task. He states in his book God developing his faith through tests, whether healing a sparrow to praying for strangers, and frequently communicating with him. Franklyn wants readers to have the same relationship with God, hearing His voice as clear as he did at camp.

Divine, mysterious deliverance from key deadly moments in his life. A retired Philippine diplomat relates actual instances of "possible miracles" ("spiritual encounters") he experienced, to show God lovingly watches each of us regardless of who we are. God can marshal powers from the Spiritual realm to deliver us from evil on earth, he says. He recounts incidents of such possible divine intervention: being spared from a bombing in Manila that killed nine and wounded over a hundred in 1971, deliverance from a terrorist bomb in Istanbul in 1998, being spared from a fusillade of iron pellets in London in 2000, his wife''s being saved from deadly illness in Turkey in 2003, deliverance from possibly fatal accidents in the U.S.A. and the Philippines, assistance in worrisome situations, and instances involving striking or life-changing coincidences. He unveils his belief: before birth our Father had mapped out what could be a rigorous life-course to enable us to attain a spiritual growth germane to our eventual return to Him through Christ-despite our wayward past.  By relating his fearful brushes with danger, he reminds us that we are God''s children to strengthen our faith.Born into humble circumstances and reared by religious parents in Dumaguete, Philippines, the author early on tackled worrisome problems: lung disease in college, libel suits as an editor, and a physical assault on his life. He and family were enabled, he believes through divine help, to land in America, finishing a Ph.D. in Northern Illinois. After joining the Philippine Foreign Ministry, he became a Fellow in Harvard. He boldly resigned from the Marcos regime to support Corazon Aquino in 1986.  After a consultancy at Tufts, he became Consul in the Philippine Embassy, Washington DC., Consul General in Turkey and Oman and Philippine Ambassador to Cuba and Caribbean countries.

...Is based solely on The Holy Bible. Representing a new and innovative genre of Bible literature, this book is a Scripturally-based, yet fictionally-portrayed, account about Noah, written from the perspective of the man who built the 450-foot-long, 37-foot-tall and 75-foot-wide ark. This Noah, Preparer of the Ark recounts the creation narrative, reveals how sin began, reports the wickedness Noah saw and restates why the Lord God chose Noah to save his sons, spare his wife, and preserve his sons' wives. Noah, Preparer of the Ark also reveals how Noah and his family may have built the largest ship that had ever been designed, assembled and constructed. Noah preached righteousness, to whom and what did he preach? How did seven pairs of male and female fowl, seven pairs of male and female clean beasts, and two pairs of male and female unclean beasts enter into, existed within and exited from the ark? Noah, Preparer of the Ark will answer those questions. After reading this book readers will come away learning how Noah and his seven-member family could have prepared for, survived within and emerged from the ark.

Jesus, Betrayer of Jesus, is solely based on The Holy Bible. Representing a new and innovative genre of Bible literature, this book is a scripturally-based, yet fictionallyportrayed, account about Judas Iscariot, written from the perspective of the man who betrayed Jesus the Christ. The first chapter theorizes on why Judas betrayed Jesus. The second chapter focuses on how Judas betrays Jesus. The third chapter shares with readers his regret for, plus damnable consequences of, betraying Jesus. Many lessons can be learned and applied to our lives today from the man whose name, according to the third chapter, "will be vilified, be identified with deceit, and be associated with betrayal."

ENDORSEMENTS: Caroline Mbanacho has written a fast read, filled with spiritual insights for her still-unfolding walk at work. From her start as the first child in her family to attend University, to her continuing "climb" up the corporate ladder, Caroline shows what it looks like to be "faith active" at work. It requires the faith to believe that God has prepared Good Works in advance for us, that He will work alongside us in even the toughest circumstances, and that who we become spiritually at work is ultimately more important than what we accomplish in human terms. I highly recommend this book for any Christian wrestling through the joys and challenges of walking out Christian faith at work. "Mirror Mirror on the wall," she said. "Who is the fairest of them all?" The conversation that I have with my mirror every day goes nothing like that! How does yours go? Are you comfortable with the way you look or does the daily conversation with your mirror cause you chaos? Believe it or not, the way that you see yourself every day is what either fuels you or it fails you. Although the Queen that uttered these words was said to be very beautiful, the need for daily affirmations from an outside source caused her consistent turmoil in her mind; and it does the same thing to you. Remove the worries and the stress of how you look to others on the outside and replace it with how you appear to yourself in the eyes of God. Get rid of the Mayhem in the Mirror. T. Individual success is something all of us try to achieve at some point in life, but true success doesn't come from achievements but in embracing our God-given destinies. In the new, nonfiction book from author Darvind Graham, Say Yes to Destiny, you are designed with purpose to live a new life in Christ Jesus. This sampling collection of reflections describes how people get stuck in dreams and held captive by negative thoughts, but their escape comes from realizing the greatness inside them and the unlimited potential found only through God. The reflections encourage readers to see they were created to be successes, for God knew them before and sees them as more than their pasts. Each reflection inspires the development of Christian character and how God's grace to all allows God-given dreams to become realities. When Jesus is in your life, God can turn anything in your life into success.

This commentary was designed so that it can be used for both personal devotions and preaching, as well as for teaching a bible study group or Sunday school class. Each section contains an exposition of the verse, followed by a concise interpretation, which is then followed up by its message & application. The book also has a cross reference index providing supporting bible verses that can be looked up and read. This commentary was also formatted in a way that allows the reader or bible study group to grow at their own pace regardless of their education, walk, or age. For those that are more advanced will want to study the expository sections of Greek terms, thoughts, and phrases. Along with variant bible translations, metaphors, and synonyms. While younger groups may just want to touch on the interpretation and application sections only. Indeed every believer, minister, and Sunday school teacher will want to have on their bookshelves copies of this work that can prepare them with the necessary tools and resources needed in developing their own personal bible study, devotion, and sermon plan. The author's prayer is that the fruit contained in this book will bring the Gospel alive in the hearts of every believer, allowing them to grow in a deeper understanding of God's word and how to apply it to their daily lives. The author has also provided an online web link to the book (www.matthewlifeapplication.com) allowing the reader to find additional notes that were not able to be squeezed into this book. As well as post their own thoughts, insights, and applications.

As women, God designed us to be especially like him. The only man who figure us out and understand our every being is him, not just because God created us, it's because when God created us, no other living creature was present except him, remember Adam was sleep, a deep sleep at that. The only way a man can get to you is thru God's special roadmap. That's why making sure God hold that special place in your heart is essential. Who knows you better than your creator? Who can tell you about you better than God? Then he (God) is your first, last, and everything! God is YOU! I dedicate this book to every woman who reads it; you possess a power that flows from God himself!

"Jesus was bruised and bloody from the beating; His holy body was mangled. His flesh dangled from His bones as Roman soldiers drove three crude nails, one into each hand and the third into his feet, with one foot on top of the other. The splinters on His cross that stabbed into His back multiplied the pain. Some of the blood that trickled down His forehead from the crown of thorns seeped into His eyes, burning like fire and blurring His vision.... "It is important to realize that Mary, and the disciples, and the many others who saw the resurrected Jesus over the forty days after He walked out of His tomb were eyewitnesses to the historical reality. The witnesses included over five hundred people on just one occasion. Their elation, simply put, was ecstasy beyond words. The power of death was broken that spring morning. The world would never be the same. "Will you pause and let yourself try to experience their excitement as they visited with the resurrected Savior, Jesus the Son of God?" Frank G. Tunstall served as bishop and superintendent of the Heartland Conference for eight years. He was the pioneer pastor of Northwest Christian Center in Oklahoma City, and ministered to that congregation twenty-three years. It's also the testimony of how I turned my back on God for unknown reasons, and lived solely for myself for most of my early years. How leading this life caused me so much heart ache and pain that I thought it would be better if I just died. It's a testimony of abuse on all types of levels from sexual, to spiritual. It's about how I made one bad choice after another. And how it leads me down a deep dark path, that led me to prison and Islam. However, a testimony isn't a testimony unless it ends up glorifying God. Anyway, throughout all the bad choices God delivered me from them all. He opened my eyes to a world that I never saw before, because I was only looking at myself. I was once an offender of the state, now I am a defender of my faith. I went from a misfit for the devil, to a minister for the Lord. And how it took 15 years of my life to finally realize that my life was only in Christ . My name is Samuel D Jackson Jr., and 15 to Life: From Misfit to Minister, is my testimony of how God took the worst things in my life, and used them for His glory. It's the testimony of a child who was in an abusive home where a father would get so high on drugs that he would try and kill his whole family. How a father chose a dime bag of weed over his 3 boys and how a single mother had to raise them. It's the story of how I went from a young boy to a young man filled with anger, hatred, and bitterness for just about everything in his path. And how I would take out those feelings on anyone at any time.

Cancer can be defeated every time, so why is it so terrifying for everyone? It is because it attacks the life you live not just the body you live in. It is because it attacks the life you live more than the body you live in. It is because it affects most of the life you live most of the time while it attacks some of the body some of the time. It's not just about biology, it's about spirituality. It's not about what is out of your control, it's about what is in the center of your control! Let the Windrunners show you how. "We've all been touched by cancer: a family member, a close friend, perhaps even yourself. Rob Lane has served and cared for cancer patients and their families for decades, and over the years he has seen firsthand those he calls Windrunners, heroic souls who were able to, as Rob puts it, "stand up to the Dragon." In this direct and tender follow-up to his Cancer's Bell Lap and The Dragon Behind the Door, Dr. Lane shares their hope and their stories. This is not just a book for those affected by cancer, but is rather a companion of hope for anyone facing pain and suffering. But especially for those running that final Bell Lap, Windrunners will help you to discover that you are not alone, and that you've never been alone." -Chap Clark, Ph.D. Author, Hurt 2.0: Inside the World of Today's Teenagers Professor of Youth, Family, and Culture, Fuller Theological Seminary "The number of hours I have spent with cancer patients and their families over the past four decades reaches into the thousands. In those important moments of visiting, counseling, consoling, and comforting, I wish I had been able to give this book to them. The wealth and depth of spiritual insight and wisdom that Dr. Lane shares makes this the most valuable book resource along with the Scriptures a Christian pastor or layperson can share with any person, family, or friend who deals with cancer. Read it. Share it. Have multiple copies to give away!" -Larry Keefauver, D.Min. Bestselling Author, International Teacher, Pastor for over forty years.

"Children, these are My words" is a true story about the Lord placing three individuals, with distinct personalities, on an unknown thirty day journey with Him. During that time, it became obvious that God's idea of a thirty day journey looked totally different than the year and a half it took to actually complete. In the "School of Hard Knocks", it took much discipline, focus, and prayer to complete several assignments given to them by the Lord. Occasionally, there was doubt, disobedience, and indifference, as they struggled to obey His words. Ultimately, throughout the journey the love and patience, shown by the Lord, transformed those challenges into obedience, trust and love. If you were asked to go on a journey such as this, would you be able to do it? GOD IS THE GREAT "I AM", WE ARE NOT! See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. 1 John 3:1 (NAS) Merle Goldman Hogan was raised in a Jewish Orthodox home. Throughout many heart wrenching trials and sicknesses, she became a Messianic Hebrew, a follower of Yeshua. She is an author of two previous books. Merle and her husband Paul, an Anglican Priest, reside in Atlanta, GA. They are blessed to be grandparents and great grandparents. Jerry and Virginia Kasha were both born and raised on farms in Nebraska. They met when they were seven years of age. After marriage, and while raising a family of three, both pursued a career in, and retired from, Federal Law Enforcement. They live in Atlanta, GA, along with their family and ten grandchildren. All three continue to serve the Lord together, and are currently active in local and foreign missions with SERV Ministries International.

Have you ever felt life threw you into a pit and left you for dead? Situations can catch us off guard and hit hard, like a punch to the gut, knocking the very wind out of us when we are not looking. That punch renders us helpless, keeled over in a fetal position - trying to catch our breath, and asking, "what happened?" What happened to those dreams that looked ever so promising and true? What happened to the visions that were so clear, so vivid, and almost tangible? What happened to the words that God spoke directly to me about me? Did they all die in the pit? Did they vanish in the wind that was knocked out of me? Or could they still be alive - waiting for me in a place called GOSHEN? Goshen: A Journey of Survival Amidst a God-Ordained Famine is the author's story of a season of loss in her life, and God's plan to provide, protect and preserve His people. She uses the biblical story of Joseph to show how God's power back then, is the same power He will demonstrate in our famine-experiences today.

To some, thirty-five years as a missionary in Africa seems like a long time: to authors Ronald and LouDell Posein, it was years of miracles from God, love given and received, and accomplishing God's will by sharing Christ with others. The couple describes their time as missionaries in Africa in their new memoir, Recollections of Thirty-Five Short Years; recalling how Ronald first began his ministry as a Canadian pastor before the family moved to Tanzania, Africa to serve. Over the next three decades, and more, Ronald and LouDell experienced exposure to African medicine traditions, wars and conflicts in Africa (one being the Rwanda Genocide) and hearing stories from others of their salvation in Christ. Recollections of Thirty-Five Short Years is not only a memory-filled autobiography of the Poseins' time in Africa, but is also a call to readers to discover their God-given talents and spiritual gifts, whether homebound or overseas.

Watch new friends and enemies, intersect his trail; while his family, devastated by tragedy; mount a desperate search on his vanishing into the west. Visit wild western towns and their colorful array of characters at the height of their hay-day; then follow his ride up the Front Wall of the Rockies to a high mountain paradise, where discovery of more than one kind of gold, leaves him with far more than he could imagine. About the Author Dwight (Buc) Keene is a life-time resident of Washington State and grew up on a stump farm, the forth of ten kids, and dreaming of becoming a cowboy and having a horse some day. He always maintained he should have been born in Texas. He met his wife Janis in a little country church the family attended, and she provides much of the inspiration for the romance of this story. They moved to the Olympic Peninsula shortly after their marriage where they had a small cattle operation and he owned his first horse. They eventually moved to the Columbia Basin in Eastern Washington where he was involved in the hay and cattle business for several years while their family was growing up. The couple currently resides on a one hundred and twenty year old mountain homestead in the Olympic Mountains after having moved back to the Peninsula to open a feed store and gun shop. They have four grown children and eight grandchildren and Buc finds time between his family and business interests to allow his faith to inform his writing and love of humor, adventure, the outdoors, and all things cowboy.
