Slavery was a detestable act orchestrated by capitalism and it destroyed generation of African American. It has created the situation in which we as blacks have to scream that our lives matter. Charles W. Grimsley is a 2 tour Viet Nam Army LRRP. He is a U.S. Chaplain working at a Veterans Health Care System facility. Charles has been facilitating a Spirituality Group working with veterans from all branches of service for several years. While working with the veterans at the hospital he noticed a correlation between those who managed to conquer their addictive behaviors when they actively implemented Spirituality and the forgiveness components; the forgiveness of self and others. Charles earned his Doctorate from Denver Seminary with emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling. While writing his Doctoral Thesis he developed a group study of combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD to prove the validity of his thesis. Past and present returning combat veterans exhibit symptoms of PTSD: Addictions are rampant, uncontrolled anger, horrifying memories and stories. Drug therapy does not seem to be effective. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and depression are frequent diagnoses among combat veterans. Emerging symptoms of PTSD, TBI, and depression often go unrecognized or may be slow to develop (Milliken et al., 2007) and not addressed until problems become critical. "When 20 veterans die by suicide and 14 veterans hadn't touched VA care, it means that we can't do this alone." Dr. Caitlin Thompson, Executive Director VA Office of Suicide Prevention. Veterans from all eras continue to struggle with issues related to their combat experience and reintegration to civilian life following military service. 23% of women veterans report at least one sexual assault while in the military. Yes, help awaits.... It is not in the forgetting that the answer lies, but in the remembering that healing manifest itself, yet utilizing the forgiveness component. It is the matter of unlocking the unconscious, to open the awareness, thus the work to be done is buried within and entails the Journey of Freedom through forgiveness, necessitating and connecting applications of; Theology, Psychology, and Spirituality.
The author of this book has lived a total of 73 years and two months at the end of July 31, 2014, and he will try to focus on main insights of the people, so the well beings of every person, place, and thing in the United States of America; to give you a light of understanding of all the people and their needs. There are many needs that need to be stressed loudly I personally think the leaders of America have failed, in governing all the people to its fullest in suiting their needs. There are many needs or pretenses, when you as a country is being governed. You can''t meet everybody''s need at the same time, but on the other hand; you can''t totally ignore the ones you might disagree with. The topics will cover the beginning of America, from the first Europeans that explored North and South America, and who they found here at the beginning of their exploration.  Among the two continents of North and South American was many islands in its surroundings. The ingredients of the topics will be of fairness in government-spending-saving-education-sports-dealing with children-taxes-medicine-and last strange occurrences in life, that sometimes most people will keep to themselves because, most people will not believe in what you are telling them until, they can see it with their own eyes, and that subject is (unidentified flying objects) (U.F.O.)''s.I know there are going to be lots of disagreements from certain people from the left, they are the ones are satisfied with the way things are at the present time or shall I say the exemplification, archetype and original functions of government without a change. Most of those people have lots of money, no worries and is living on easy streets, but the people that have to work every day and drive up and down freeways, will agree more with my concepts.Myself being the author of this book, has chosen seven (7) subjects of mind examinations to deliver a true essentiality purpose that is demanded by the voting public. Those subjects are (1) Law: It is an essential tool to administer justice in the court system for all its citizens. (2) American History: Its purpose serves the pass and present events, so the public will know where they came from and where they are going. (3) Political Science: Its purpose is to keep the nation well informed on hos their politicians are serving them. (4) Sociology: Its purpose is to try and build a consolation among different races of certain groups of people, so all persons can be served as needed in any particular situation. (5) Psychology: Its purpose is to study and human mind and try to find out what makes it tick. (6) Economics:  Its purpose is to given an up to date data on where this and other countries are faring throughout the entire world in financial stability and what is needed to keep things going in the right direct. Last and finally (7) Philology:  Its purpose is to try and determined how individuals think in religion, race, political views, belief in life and death, spirit world, heaven and hell (ESP) and so on.
The world is in a state of turmoil, as some would interpret it to be. Marriages are falling apart. Children are becoming more rebellious than ever. The governmental system is questionable. Selfish and Idolatrous lifestyle is everywhere. Injustices, unfaithfulness, unforgiveness, lying, killing, hatred and strife have shown their ugly faces; Options are far and few. Many people have lost hope in their government, family and more painfully, their churches. Many are turning to things that provide no hope at all. Amid all these hopeless riots and wonders, Jacqueline heard the voice of the All Mighty calling. She believes he is calling his people out of a failing system back into a place of rest. The call is to get out of the flesh. This flesh is more than what meets the eye. In this book, Jacqueline had written the revelation concerning the flesh as The All Mighty had revealed to her through his words. She also emphasized on the urgency of the calling that she believes he is uttering in such a time as this. Jacqueline R. Robinson is a wife, mother, sister, auntie, cousin, niece, grandmother, bible teacher, writer, coworker and a friend. One of her greatest hobbies is writing. She earned a MBA degree in Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary's located in New York. Jacqueline loves the Lord and is very passionate about Spirituality. Is this a dream? Were among the thoughts running through David Robles' head as he laid helplessly on the floor of his house, injured by gunshot wounds from intruders, while his family's screams filled his fading mind. Such an event introduces readers right away to the plight of David Robles, his wife Elizabeth and their children, Maria and Marcos, in the latest suspense novel series, Making American Again 2024: The Book of David. As David's mind slips into unconsciousness, he journeys back in time to 2022 when his family was just starting a hopeful trip to Florida. An innocent stop at a roadside diner quickly turned into an example of current hostilities within the nation and racial prejudice. The recent news of the enactment of Muslim camps in the nation led everyone to see others as Muslims in hiding, and Elizabeth's Latino features made no exception. Besides being ridiculed by diner employees, the family also went through the mockery of being searched and questioned by police as to their ethnicity and travels. The trip's ill-fated turn of events was only a glimpse of the changes to come to America, with the amounts of protests, segregation and right restrictions beginning to escalate among all races, cultures and social classes. David reiterates the thought from the start of the book: could this be a hurtful dream he was experiencing, seeing his family persecuted for their Hispanic backgrounds, or was it an all-too-real nightmare playing out in The American Nation? Is making America again at the cost of the livelihoods of citizens trapped between governmental control and wealthy ambition or is it just the leaders of our Country acting in our best interest to preserve The American Dream and save the citizens of this great nation from their own inevitable self-destruction?
This book speaks on my personal journey through life.....from being held at gunpoint to many other personal journeys that I have overcome...how could He still love me, with all of my bad decisions, thoughts, and self-chosen paths. I was broken but wearing a mask to cover all my brokenness, unforgiveness, and low self-esteem, doubting that anyone would or could love someone as messed up as I was. How Could He Still Love Me, when I walked away from my journey, is a testament of how God's grace, mercy and loving kindness can heal, and destroy yokes. Matthew 11:28-30 Kjv

In her life, author Patti D. Pickens felt she was being a good Christian, believing in God and following the "rules" of Christianity. However, she couldn't explain why she was given a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, or how drastically her life would change, as she recalls in her autobiography, "MS" MyStery Solved. Born and raised in Georgia, this self-described tomboy lived out life's opportunities: becoming a police dispatcher, EMT and marrying young to a man she loved. She had a few bumps along the way, such as learning to walk again after an accident, but Patti believed God had her back. Then her MS diagnosis in 2002 occurred, resulting in a new life of doctor appointments, hospital visits and her subsequent divorce from her husband. Her story, though, is one of faith and healing: finding hope in health, finding love again and never giving up on God to heal her.

Did you hear or read any of these today: "Break Bread", "Count the Cost", "Eleventh Hour", "Eat Drink, and be Merry", "Fell on His Sword"? These are only a few of the more than 200 entries noted by author William C. Falkner as having come to us from that most read of all books-The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. Most of us in the English-speaking world today are vaguely aware of the biblical connection of these words and expressions. But few of us can actually pinpoint their biblical origin and context. Also, many of our younger generations are clueless about their biblical connection. Biblically Speaking... is aimed at filling the gaps in the knowledge of both those groups. This compilation of over 200 entries provides examples of their current usage, their generally accepted definition, biblical source, and a brief commentary.
Mark 2:27 "The Sabbath was made for man..." Exodus 31:13 "The Sabbath is a sign between Me and you." Matthew 12:8 "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath." Matthew 5:18-19 "...unless heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law, until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Ezekiel 20:13 "... My Sabbaths they greatly profaned. Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them..." Mark 7:7 'BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.' 8 "Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men." (Sunday) Do you know why "seven" is used fifty-four times in Revelation? Why does the fourth commandment say to keep the Sabbath on the seventh day? You are the temple of God. Therefore, your home is the new temple mount. Has 'the image of the beast' been set up in your home and 'given the power to speak'? (Revelation 13:15) The average person observes nine hours of screen time per day on 'the image of the beast'. Idolatry is more active than ever! "Satan has deceived the whole world." (Revelation 12:9) Let me show you how he has changed five of the Commandments. Remember John 14:15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." In Revelation God tells the Churches seven times to "REPENT" and two times to "WAKE UP". Allow me to show you how Satan has tricked humanity into keeping the traditions of men rather than the Commandments of God.

"Real Life with Sally is a refreshing, pure, and inspiring collection of endearing stories and poetry that will bring readers closer to God. I commend her for this warm collection of personal insights from her loving walk with the Savior." -Dr. Larry Keefauver, Bestselling Author and International Teacher Most people Sally meets along the way comment on how she appears to be so happy all the time and that her life must so easy. On the contrary, Sally's life hasn't been easy. She has relied heavily upon the Lord for support and knows He works behind the scenes on her behalf. The Lord called her to Him at a very early age when no one else in her home spoke of or even recognized God. Sally grew up in a dysfunctional home where she was the main caretaker of her baby brother when she was just five-years-old. Her mother was an alcoholic and her father was constantly working. Through all her adversity, she came to know Jesus. Sally and God expressed her life through these beautiful poems which blessed her and others throughout her life. These are not your ordinary, flowery poems as they are her real stories in poetry form. They range from the whimsical to the heartbreaking. Some will make you laugh and others will pull at your heart strings. As Sally describes, all of a sudden the Spirit of the Lord would speak to her heart and tell her, "We've got a poem to write!" She would drop what she was doing and disappear into her bedroom where paper and pencil were readily available. She and God would share their thoughts together as they wrote these poems, perfectly fitting whatever situation they were experiencing. Sally has added a short testimony to each poem describing the circumstances in her troubles as well as the good times. Sally Huff was born and raised in Oregon where she enjoys her family, friends and church community.
The latter half of David's life ranged from failure to spiraling fall-out to a focused finish. While forging a nation, this warrior and King faced crisis after crisis, engaged in fierce warfare, grappled with crushing sorrow and gut-wrenching betrayal. However, there was some respite - the men who surrounded him. Many of these men stepped in and did what David could not. His was a complex world of family, politics and enemies. In the last decade of David's life, no longer able to fight on the field, this Warrior King stepped into the role of the visionary builder, acquired the foundation for Israel's future Temple, gathered untold wealth for its creation and secured the kingdom for his son Solomon. David's position in time and history was critical. It is from his nation and his "seed" Messiah would come. At times Israel, along with David, stood on a knife's edge. David's leadership, his skill in employing the giftings of those around him coupled with his ability to "touch heaven," saves the day. This story, closely wrapped around the Biblical narrative, plumbs the power, love and heartbreak of David, a man after God's own heart. At the end of this work "Insights" are offered that will hopefully give a deeper understanding of David and his world. A graduate of Baptist College at Charleston, Palma is an educator and Bible teacher. Straight Up is my third devotional book and is the result of numerous hours of study, teaching and preaching. As I prepare messages from the Word of God and then share them, the Lord causes certain points to pop out to me. These distinct concepts stay in the forefront of my mind and the depths of my heart until I finally write them down in obedience to God''s Holy Spirit. I can only liken it to childbirth. I labor greatly with the particular truth-studying, praying, and sharing with others-until I finally get the explanation down on paper in a succinct and straightforward presentation. The written devotion I consider to be the delivery. My heart is filled with gratitude for the feedback along the way that affirms each devotion''s purpose in particular lives. I pray this compilation will bless your walk with Jesus.May you receive God''s truth "straight up," so that your heart and life may be lifted straight up to Jesus! Recorded as one of the worst disasters in history, and killing more than 500 million people world-wide, the Spanish Influenza stretched its mighty hand even to the remote archipelago of the Samoan Islands in the South Pacific. Twenty-thousand people were affected and more than eight-thousand died. As the flu virus swept across the islands, the natives were ill-formed and could not cope with the tragedy. They were horrified, struggling to make sense of the situations as they witnessed their love-ones died within days of contracting the virus. Two very different people found themselves in the middle of this disaster. Foine, an outspoken-native girl who went out of her way to dislike all palagis (white-people) who she claimed had brought the virus to her beloved islands. Sergeant Simon Floyd was a New Zealand soldier who was instrumental in the fight against the spread of the disease. Both were inevitably bound by the tragedy and without warning, they found themselves vulnerable to the desires of the hearts."The Heart of the Matter" takes you behind some of the devastation as Foine struggled to survive after her own family became victims of the disease. Fate had dealt her a cruel hand, but Foine fought back with resilience and determination. Her unfaltering sense of pride in her country and its people compelled her to get into the heart of the matter.......... The book is about a retired engineer, Jim North, now a sailor on a small boat, who is trying for the first time in his life to follow the Lord''s leadership. He struggles to understand feelings of urgency, wondering whether they are from the Lord, or of his own carnal doing. When he finally surrenders to God''s leading, he is richly blessed by seeing some of His great works. He initially follows the Lord''s leadership to help a group of Jews get back to Israel. God then uses him in a way to warn the world of God''s intention to bring temporary peace to Israel, after great turmoil, and to return more Jews to the Holy Land. His adventures take him to many ports, place him in direct contact with powerful political leaders, and give him more action than he desires, on occasion. In the process of seeing God work, Jim tries to witness to those with whom he comes in contact, but finds that he is lacking in witnessing and discipleship skills. He realizes he should have been more devoted in his relationship with Christ throughout his life. While many of the events in the book take place on a sailboat, and there are several nautical scenes, the story is primarily about Jim North''s growth in following God''s leadership. The writer has been a Christian for many years and a deacon in the Baptist Church, teaching adult education classes. He is a retired aerospace engineer and has been a sailor for most of his adult life and has cruised in the Bahamas and along the East and West coasts of the United States. He now resides with his wife Margaret in Queen Creek, Arizona.

Fitness by Verse is a workout that combines scripture and your daily workout. The exercises emphasize and remind you to think of the scripture, making it easier to learn and to spend time with the Lord. It is important to make and keep our temple strong, and what better way than to workout with scripture? Fitness by Verse includes easy days and hard days in the program, but they make us stronger physically and mentally as well helping us to understand the pain Jesus endured for our sins. It is important to remember that these exercises are not found in the Bible; rather, these exercises come from my interpretation of what the verse says and what exercises make me think of that specific verse.
